Infusion - Legacy : 25th Anniversary (Part 2) feat. Nick Warren & Jamie Stevens and Freedo Mosho, Maze 28, GMJ & Matter Remixes - Selador More eye-wateringly mesmeric reworks of ‘Legacy’, you say? Ambassador, you spoil us. Yes, our celebration of this classic reaching the quarter century milestone continues with two further transcendent treats. Producers you know and love, who simply couldn’t wait to get their hands on ‘Legacy’ for a celebratory birthday reimagining. Secondly, we are delighted to bring you Selador’s very own Fab Four, a dream team for the ages consisting of the combined international talents of Freedo Mosho (Argentina), Maze 28 (Albania), and Australia’s own GMJ and Matter. Dream-like dark disco of the highest order, things get beyond ethereal on this gargantuan beauty, as the vox weaves in and out of a Moroder-esque bassline, serene synths and the original’s unimpeachable twanging guitar. Here’s how Part Two lines up… First, we find original Infusion-eer and honorary Seladorian Jamie Stevens, who of course just had to be part of this project. How best to conjure up something suitably special? Let’s invite living legend Nick Warren to collaborate (and make an overdue but oh so welcome Selador debut while we’re at it). Yep, you read that right – Jamie Stevens and Nick Warren, together! Propulsive percussion ushers in a wonky bassline, majestically melodic riffing and that vocal for a positively prodigious workout. Dave Seaman - Mirrorball Sleaze (incl. Christian Smith & D-SHIFT Remix) - Selador Support from John Digweed, Danny Howells, Nick Warren, Anthony Pappa, CamelPhat, Sander Kleinenberg, Jaytech, Marsh, Jamie Stevens, Maze28, Shall Ocin, Carina Lawrence, Luke Brancaccio, James Zabiela, Nick Muir, Adriatique, Sam Divine, Lexicon Avenue, Bog Anticipation, excitement and all manner of other exalted emotions are reaching fever pitch at Selador HQ, and throughout the community of wondrous souls we call Seladoria, as Dave’s beyond long-awaited debut album hoves into view. This club-ready mix package of the title track will only serve to send such emotions stratospheric. As with several of the album’s tracks, this beauty sees Dave’s past and present collide ceremoniously, as his 2015 single ‘Strobelight Symphony’ is referenced (a single which itself took inspiration from the brilliant Superstars of Rock, signed to Dave’s 90s imprint Stress Recordings). However, Mirrorball Sleaze is both 100% new, and as now as humanly possible. It’s a brand-new retro trick that only those with Dave’s level of knowledge and experience could pull off. The album’s achingly beautiful beatless version (aka the Freedrumapella) features, and will no doubt soundtrack many a pre- or post-club session, sounding as if it’s just waltzed in from Dave’s legendary Back to Mine set from back in the day. However, fear not dancefloor disciples as we have a brace of souped-up versions that invite you to jack your bodies like there’s no tomorrow. Dave’s own interpretation trips the light fantastic, both brooding and euphoric in equal measures; at home as both a party starter or a night closer. Take your pick. Meanwhile, the Tronic duo of mainman Christian Smith and label mate D-Shift team up for the peak time mix, melodic wonk of the highest order, with beats ‘n’ riffs ricocheting round speaker stacks with reckless abandon. All bases covered. Whichever you choose, there’d better be a mirrorball! Team Selador – Sleazy Does It!
