nick tixi - House from the Mediterranean for Risonanze

2026/07/31

Not every place needs to be reinvented. Some places simply need to be listened to. This DJ set was created as part of Risonanze, a visual storytelling project by Sardegna 2050, where electronic music becomes a narrative language rather than a soundtrack. Inspired by the historic fishing village of Giorgino in Cagliari, the selection moves through deep house, melodic textures and Mediterranean atmospheres, translating the dialogue between sea, memory, industry and landscape into sound. Each track is part of a journey that invites slower listening and a different way of experiencing places—where music connects people, territories and stories. Recorded and performed by Nick Tixi. House from the Mediterranean.

Salt Wind (Radio Edit)

2026/07/30

Buon ascolto. The wind always carries something with it: memories, salt, departures, and new beginnings. Salt Wind is a journey through house music, deep melodies, and Mediterranean-inspired atmospheres. A track created to soundtrack a seaside sunset, a coastal drive, or a dancefloor that chooses emotion before spectacle. Enjoy the music.

Nick tixi - House from the Mediterranean (Bacan session)

2026/07/05

A journey through house music from the Mediterranean. Un viaggio nella musica house dal Mediterraneo.

Nick Tixi - Disco bueno (Radio Edit)

2026/06/02

Disco Bueno is a Mediterranean-flavored house track built around an elegant dialogue between groove and saxophone. With its sunny and engaging flow, the song focuses more on atmosphere than immediate impact, evoking sunsets, seaside terraces, and open-air dancefloors.

Nick Tixi - djset alla Laguna di Giliacquas Elmas, Italia

2026/05/04

A new track that blends the warm energy of Latin sounds with the deep and minimal groove of tech house. Percussions drive a steady and hypnotic rhythm, designed for the dancefloor but also for immersive listening.

Calasetta (radio Edit)

2025/12/05

This track was created to be a companion for your journeys—something to play while traveling, walking, or just looking for a moment of lightness. It’s an organic house tune with warm percussions, smooth grooves and an atmosphere that opens gradually, like a landscape unfolding as you move. I wanted a clean, simple sound that brings movement and a sense of breath. It’s the kind of track you can play in headphones, in the car, or during sunset—perfect for those moments when you just need to feel somewhere else.

Nick Tixi - djset Life After Oil Festival - Villanovaforru, Sardinia 19_6_25

2025/08/14

In the intimate setting of Villanovaforru, in Sardinia, at the Life After Oil Festival, I brought to the decks a dialogue between cultures far apart, yet close in spirit. Sounds from the Global South, from East to West, intertwined in a borderless journey: warm percussion, ancient melodies, rhythms telling the stories of different lands and peoples. A set designed to cross distances and find a common language: music. 🌍🎶
