Success can be a gift from God, but it can also become dangerous when it begins to change the way we see ourselves and what we have been given. Daniel 4 shows how easy it is for pride to grow when we stop recognizing God as the source of what we have. Over time we can become blind to what is happening in our own heart and start believing that we are the reason for everything around us. In this message, we are going to see how God lovingly brings those blind spots into view so that we can keep our hearts surrendered to Him. Our faithfulness to God will always require us to decide who gets the final say in our lives. It’s one thing to follow God when it’s easy, but what happens when obedience is costly and the pressure to compromise is in our face? At some point, every Christian has to decide what they will stand for and what they cannot bow to. In our message today, we are going to talk about what it looks like to stay faithful when the pressure is turned up, and we are forced to make real decisions as we trust the Lord. Discipleship is essential for believers in Christ. If we don't engage this process we simply do not grow in our faith. God has so much more for us to become but we must submit to Him and what He has given us to move forward. His word, His Spirit, and His people. Every kingdom, system, and source of human power can feel permanent when we are living right in the middle of it. Daniel chapter 2 challenges that illusion. What looks unshakable today may be gone tomorrow, but God is never threatened by the rise and fall of earthly kingdoms. In our passage today, we are invited to consider where our confidence really rests, how we respond when the future feels uncertain, and what it means to build our lives around the one Kingdom that will never come to an end. There are moments in life when we simply don’t know what to do. Something happens that we don’t understand and suddenly we find ourselves looking for answers. We want to know what is happening and what we should do next. In our passage today, King Nebuchadnezzar is facing one of those moments. A troubling dream has completely interrupted his life and left him searching for answers. As we continue our study through Daniel, we will see what happens when the most powerful man in Babylon is confronted with something he doesn’t understand and his usual circle of people are unable to provide any help. Following God feels easy when there’s nothing challenging what we believe. But eventually we will face moments when our convictions are tested, and we have to decide what we’re really committed to. It’s one thing to say what we believe, but it’s another thing to live by those beliefs especially when there’s pressure to do something different. Our passage today gives us a powerful example where Daniel found himself in that exact situation and I think he shows us what it looks like to stay faithful to God even in Babylon. The book of Daniel reveals one of the darkest moments in Israel’s history. Jerusalem is under attack, God’s people are being taken captive, and Daniel and his friends suddenly find themselves living in Babylon. Everything familiar has changed, and they must now learn what it means to live for God in a world that is very different from the one they had known. As we begin our journey through Daniel, we will step into their world, understand what they were facing, and discover why their experience in Babylon still has so much to teach us today. What is the greatest need in your life? Most of us would quickly think of answers like wisdom, healing, direction, provision, or breakthrough. But in Exodus 33, God confronts His people with a much deeper question: What if you had all of those things, but not His presence? As Israel wrestles with that reality, they discover that God's presence is not just another blessing—it is the blessing. In our message today, we will see how this passage invites us to rediscover what it means to live as people who long for God above everything else and who understand that His presence changes everything. One of the greatest privileges that we have is to help others come to know Jesus Christ. Throughout the Gospels, we see ordinary people bringing family members, friends, and even strangers into His presence, trusting Him to do what only He can do. In our passage today we observe four men demonstrate the determination, faith, and love required to bring someone to Jesus. Their example reminds us of the importance and the simplicity of bringing people to Christ. Speaker: Pastor Ben Dixon Scripture: Mark 2:1-12 Series: Reach Out Thank you for Joining. Every day, there is a battle taking place for our hearts. God is speaking through His Word, but how we respond determines what His Word produces in our lives. In Luke 8, Jesus tells the story of a farmer scattering seed onto four different kinds of soil, each representing a different response to God and His Word. Some hearts become hard, some are shallow, and others become distracted. But, the heart that receives God’s Word and remains faithful becomes fruitful. This parable challenges every one of us to ask an important question: What is the condition of my heart? Speaker: Pastor Ben Dixon Scripture: Luke 8:4-15 Series: Stand Alone Thank you for Joining. Every Christian has a testimony. It may be dramatic or quiet, but if Jesus has changed your life, He has given you a story of His grace, mercy, and transforming power. In Mark chapter 5, Jesus sent a man, whose life had been radically changed, back to his own people with one simple assignment: “Tell others what the Lord has done for you.” In the same way, God desires to use our testimonies to point people to Christ, open doors for the gospel, and reveal His power to a world that desperately needs hope. The gospel is the greatest message the world has ever heard, yet most Christians struggle to clearly explain it or confidently share it with others. If we are going to reach people with the gospel, we first need to understand it ourselves. In this message, we'll answer two foundational questions: What is the Gospel and how do we share the Gospel? As we walk through the story of Scripture and a simple, practical framework for sharing our faith, you'll be equipped to confidently communicate the hope of Jesus Christ with the people God has placed in your life. Jonah chapter 4 is one of the most surprising chapters in the Bible. After witnessing one of the greatest revivals recorded in Scripture, Jonah wasn't filled with joy—he was filled with anger. Instead of celebrating God's mercy, he questioned it. Instead of rejoicing over people being saved, he became frustrated and angry with God. This chapter reveals a very sobering truth: sometimes the greatest obstacles to reaching people aren't around us, they're within us. Today, we are going to look at four heart postures that can quietly keep us from sharing God's heart for the people He longs to save.
