268 | The 5 Qualities You Need to Lead Your Business From Self
2026/09/26
What does it actually mean to lead your business from Self? In Internal Family Systems (IFS), Self is the grounded center within us that can lead with clarity, curiosity, compassion, and confidence, even when other parts of us are afraid, impatient, ambitious, disappointed, or unsure. In this episode, I explore five qualities of Self that I find especially powerful in entrepreneurship, along with how I’m working with them in my own business right now. I also look at something I’ve become increasingly interested in: how easily a part of us can appear to embody one of these qualities when something very different is happening underneath. Because business has a way of bringing our parts to the surface. Money, visibility, uncertainty, failure, success, and being seen can all activate something in us, sometimes without our even realizing it. So how do you know when you’re actually leading from Self, and when a part of you has taken the lead? RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: You’ve done years of inner work, developed real expertise, and you know there’s more you’re here to create. Now you’re ready to stop carrying so much of your work as potential and learn how to bring it fully into the world. Open Channel is my free training for spiritually mature women who are ready to bring their spirituality, inner work, and business strategy together so they can turn their depth into a clear, profitable business around the work they’re here to do. 267 | What Are You Compounding?
2026/09/19
What if the things that will make the biggest difference in your life and business are the things that barely seem to matter today? As I get closer to 50, I’ve been thinking a lot about the small choices I made decades ago that I’m benefiting from now. I see it in my health, my spiritual practices, my relationship with money, and increasingly, in the way I build and lead my business. Compounding is easy to understand when we look at money. But the same principle is at work throughout our lives and businesses. If you’ve been wondering whether you need a new strategy, a new offer, a new direction, or simply a different relationship with what you’ve already built, I hope this episode helps you look at your business through a much longer lens. Because the question may not be whether things are compounding in your business. They already are. The more interesting question is what. 266 | 3 Mistakes Spiritual Women Entrepreneurs Make When Growing a Business
2026/09/12
What if some of the things you’ve been avoiding in business are actually the things that could help you grow? Over the years, I’ve worked with hundreds of spiritual women entrepreneurs, and I’ve watched the same few patterns surface again and again. They often look sensible, even wise, on the surface. But underneath, they can make bringing your soul’s work into the world much harder than it needs to be. Together, we’ll explore: The business number I wish more women understood, and why getting it “right” may not mean what you think.A distinction around ambition that changed the way I think about sustainable success. Why investing in support is only the beginning, and what determines how much you actually receive from it.The pattern I see among highly trained women who readily invest in their expertise, but hesitate somewhere else. What professional athletes understand about sustainable performance that entrepreneurs can learn from. One simple practice I use to get far more value from the coaching rooms I invest in. These three mistakes may seem unrelated at first. But by the end of the episode, I think you’ll see how closely they’re connected, and why shifting even one of them can change your relationship with your business. If you want your business to become a greater source of freedom, stability, and support in your life, while giving your deepest work a structure through which it can thrive, this episode will give you a few things to consider. 265 | The Last Business Program They Ever Needed
2026/09/06
What happens when you've done all the certifications, invested in countless trainings, and still feel like something is missing? In this special conversation, I sit down with three women who recently completed her Self CEO—an IFS therapist, a university professor, and a movement educator—to explore what really changed for them over our three months together. They share why they almost didn't join another business program, what surprised them most about the experience, and how doing the inner work transformed not only their businesses, but their relationship with themselves. Together, we talk about: Why more information and certifications weren't what they needed. The unexpected identity shifts that happened before the business breakthroughs. How working with your inner parts changes the way you market, sell, and lead. The relationship between spirituality, entrepreneurship, and sustainable growth.Using AI as a tool without losing your own inner wisdom. Why building a business from the inside out creates more ease, clarity, and momentum. This isn't a conversation about building a business faster. It's about becoming the woman who can finally bring her soul's work into the world with integrity, confidence, and Self-leadership. If you've ever wondered whether another business program could really be different, I think you'll find something of yourself in these stories. 264 | 5 Spiritual Principles That Guide My Business
2026/08/22
This episode is part of my Business From Within Summer Series—a curated collection of foundational conversations exploring a more feminine way of building a business rooted in inner authority, spiritual practice, and sustainable success. What if the most important business strategy you ever developed had nothing to do with marketing, sales, or scaling? After more than two decades of entrepreneurship, I've realized that the way I run my business isn't shaped primarily by tactics. It's guided by a handful of spiritual principles that influence every decision I make—from how I plan my days to how I navigate uncertainty, serve my clients, and define success. In this episode, I'm sharing the five principles that continue to anchor my business today. They aren't rules to follow or productivity hacks to master. They're ways of relating to your work that invite more presence, trust, and alignment into the everyday experience of building a business. Because when your business becomes an extension of your spiritual practice, success stops feeling like something you have to chase, I becomes something you embody. RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: You've invested in healing. You've grown your business. Your work changes lives. So why doesn't your income consistently reflect the depth of what you offer? 263 | Are You In Love With Your Business?
2026/08/15
This episode is part of my Business From Within Summer Series—a curated collection of foundational conversations exploring a more feminine way of building a business rooted in inner authority, spiritual practice, and sustainable success. Most women don't start a business because they want another job. They start because they long for freedom, purpose, creativity, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference. But somewhere along the way, it's easy to lose the very relationship that inspired us to begin. In this episode, I invite you to ask a simple but transformative question: Are you in love with your business? Together, we'll explore what it means to build and lead from a place of devotion rather than obligation, why business can become one of your greatest spiritual teachers, and how a more feminine way of working can transform not only the success you create, but the experience of creating it. Because the most fulfilling businesses aren't simply profitable. They're relationships that invite you to become more fully yourself. RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: You've invested in healing. You've grown your business. Your work changes lives. So why doesn't your income consistently reflect the depth of what you offer? 262 | The Divine Feminine Way to Do Business
2026/08/08
This episode is part of my Business From Within Summer Series—a curated collection of foundational conversations exploring a more feminine way of building a business rooted in inner authority, spiritual practice, and sustainable success. What if success didn't require you to override your intuition, push through exhaustion, or leave parts of yourself behind? For generations, women have been taught to build businesses according to values that prize productivity, speed, and constant growth above all else. But as more of us awaken to a different way of leading, we're being invited to redefine what sustainable success can look and feel like. In this episode, I share five ways to bring the wisdom of the Divine Feminine into your business—from creating spaces of beauty and practicing deep listening to honoring your natural rhythms, embracing rest, and leading with greater compassion and inclusivity. Because the future of business isn't about becoming more like the old paradigm. It's about remembering a way of working that allows you to flourish while creating meaningful impact. 261 | Why Building a Business Is a Spiritual Path
2026/08/01
This episode is part of my Business From Within Summer Series—a curated collection of foundational conversations exploring a more feminine way of building a business rooted in inner authority, spiritual practice, and sustainable success. What if your business wasn't a distraction from your spiritual path—but one of the most powerful places to practice it? In this conversation, we dive into the emerging archetype of the spiritual entrepreneur and why building a business asks us to cultivate the very qualities that help us grow as human beings: presence, courage, discernment, trust, and deep inner listening. Along the way, I share the practices, teachers, and experiences that have shaped my own path: from embodiment and Internal Family Systems to redefining success, money, and what it really means to lead from within. Because entrepreneurship isn't simply a way to earn a living. At its best, it's a path of becoming, one that invites you to build a business that reflects who you truly are. RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: You've invested in healing. You've grown your business. Your work changes lives. So why doesn't your income consistently reflect the depth of what you offer? 260 | Make Your Business Your Rich Husband
2026/07/25
For generations, women were handed a story: marry well. Find someone who could provide the security, the stability, the freedom. Someone whose presence meant you could finally rest and feel safe. I understand that wish more than I'd like to admit. Several years ago, after a season of profound loss and rebuilding, I realized I never wanted to create a business that depended on me showing up every single day, no matter what was happening in my life. I wanted to build something that could hold and support me financially through all of life's seasons—just as much as I hoped a loving partner would. In this episode, I introduce the idea of "business husbanding": creating the systems, recurring revenue, and structure that allow your business to become a generous partner rather than a demanding one. I share how this shift transformed my own life and business, the question I now ask every woman I mentor, and why building a business that supports you isn't about becoming more productive—it's about creating true freedom, stability, and sovereignty. Because the greatest gift your business can offer isn't just an income. It's becoming a relationship that allows you to rest, trust, and know that you've built something capable of holding you through every season of your life. RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: You've invested in healing. You've grown your business. Your work changes lives. So why doesn't your income consistently reflect the depth of what you offer? 259 | Why You Haven't Been Able to Simplify Your Business
2026/07/18
The Real Reason Your Business Keeps Getting More Complicated (and Why Simplifying Isn't Where You Start) Most women I work with don't actually want a bigger business. They want a business that feels lighter, more spacious, and gives them the freedom they imagined when they first became entrepreneurs. And yet somewhere along the way, their business became more complicated instead of more life-giving: more offers, more audiences, more things to maintain. In this episode, I'm sharing why I no longer believe complexity is the real problem. I think it's a symptom. Through the story of packing for a month on the Portuguese coast, the mistakes I made in my first business, and the journeys of two remarkable women I’m mentoring, I'll show you why simplicity isn't something you create by cutting things away. It's something that naturally emerges when you're clear about the life you're building toward. Because simplifying your business isn't really about having less. It's about finally learning how to build from the inside out. RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: You've invested in healing. You've grown your business. Your work changes lives. 258 | The Life You Keep Postponing
2026/07/11
This past winter, I named a desire I'd carried for years, along with a long list of practical reasons why it couldn't happen this summer. Within about thirty seconds, the reasons had already won. Except the desire didn't go away. And as life often does, it found a way of bringing that desire into being anyway. It's the same pattern I see in so many of the women who come to me: wise, accomplished women who've done years of inner work, invested in countless trainings, and still find themselves unable to take the next step toward the life and business they say they want. In this episode, I'm sharing why I no longer believe the thing so many of us say when we're standing at the edge of something important: "I just need to get a little clearer first” or “I need to wait for a better time.” Because what often looks like a lack of clarity or inconvenient timing is something else entirely. I'll share what I've learned about the parts of us that step in just before we're about to go for it, why more information or waiting rarely creates the readiness we're hoping for, and the one question that can help you tell the difference between needing more clarity and being afraid to want what you truly want. 257 | What My Father's Death and a Record-Breaking Heat Wave Taught Me About My Business
2026/07/04
This past month handed me two things I didn't plan for: my father's death, and a record-breaking heat wave that made our apartment in Bordeaux uninhabitable for two weeks. Both came back-to-back, with no warning and no gradual transition. Just: life arriving and asking everything to hold. In this episode, I'm sharing what those two experiences revealed about my business and why I think this is one of the most important (and least talked about) aspects of building a sustainable business as a woman. Because here's what I know now: your business either holds you during the hard seasons, or it doesn't. And the gap between those two versions isn't luck. It's a design choice — one we need to make long before the crisis arrives. I'm also talking about the IFS parts that make it so hard for many of us to build this kind of infrastructure, the longer arc of where I am in my business right now, and the one question I want to leave you with that will show you exactly where your next layer of work is. RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: You've invested in healing. You've grown your business. Your work changes lives. So why doesn't your income consistently reflect the depth of what you offer? 256 | Signs You're in a Codependent Relationship With Your Business
2026/05/16
What if the most exhausting, dysfunctional relationship in your life is the one you have with your business? For many of us — especially those doing soul-led, heart-centered work — the line between who we are and what we do has become almost invisible. We don't just have a slow week. We are a slow week. Rest feels unsafe. Worth lives in output. And somewhere along the way, devotion became dependency. In this episode, I'm sharing what living in France is revealing about work, identity, and the kind of exhaustion that comes from fusing with your business rather than being in relationship with it. This is an invitation to untangle, to choose sovereignty, and to discover what becomes possible when you stop being your business — and start truly leading it. 255 | How Substack Is the Platform That Finally Rewards Women of Depth
2026/04/29
If you've been exhausted by what visibility has required of you (the hooks, the reels, the constant performance for an algorithm that doesn't align with your values), keep reading. Two months into launching my own Substack, elle-même, I am going all in on the platform I believe finally rewards what women of depth have always brought: real voice, earned trust, and ideas that can't be flattened into a caption. In this episode, I share what I've discovered about Substack as a visibility path for women in spiritual entrepreneurship: why it feels like social media did back in 2010, why I believe it's structurally aligned with a more feminine, relational way of being visible, and why I'm helping the women I mentor get over there too. If you're a healer, coach, therapist, teacher, or wisdom-keeper who wants to share your work in ways that feel enjoyable and authentic to who you are, I encourage you to listen in today. 254 | When Your Business Finally Reflects Who You Are
2026/03/17
There's a particular kind of relief that comes when your business finally starts to reflect who you actually are. And I need to warn you, not every business conversation sounds like this one! In this episode, I'm joined by three women from the current cohort of her Self CEO — Courtenay Mastain, Reise Tanner, and Anna Pell — for an honest, intimate conversation recorded at the very end of our journey together. What you'll hear is rare: a real-time glimpse into what shifts when your inner work and outer work happen in the same container. These women come from different backgrounds, different businesses, and different seasons of life. And yet the thread running through all three of their stories is the same. When your business finally reflects who you are, everything changes. If you're standing at your own kind of threshold, you'll find yourself in every one of these women's stories. Doors to the April cohort of her Self CEO are open for a short time now.
