Hello friends! Another Evil Dead movie has been spawned, and thus, we must podcast! Something a bit different this time, a little weightier, more dramatic. Is that good? Listen in and find out what we thought.  Mentioned: Trailer for Bruce Cambpell’s upcoming new movie, Ernie & Emma: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lUAbQfKc94  Next up: We’ll be back in 2028 for Evil Dead Wrath, and maybe we’ll sneak in an episode or two in before that.  In the meantime, we’ve been really busy covering a bunch of other great shows…. Check out my (Jason’s) other podcast, Wax Episodic, where friends and I cover our favorite current shows, like: It: Welcome to Derry, the horrific HBO series, prequel to the recent It movies based on the Stephen King book. Covered by me and Shawn of Strange Indeed. Alien: Earth, the heady, gross-out FX/Hulu sci-fi series based on the Alien movies. Covered by me, Randy, and Kara. Pluribus, the Twilight-Zoney Apple TV show from Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan, covered by me and Karen. Severance, the mysterious, mind-bending, amusingly strange Apple TV workplace thriller about identity, memory, and corporate control. Covered by me and Karen. (!) Fallout, the crazy, funny, retro-futuristic post-apocalyptic series on Amazon Prime Video. Covered by me, Kara, and Kasi. Available wherever you get podcasts, or at waxepisodic.com   And for Chris’ coverage of all things The Walking Dead, check out talkingdeadpodcast.com.  You can show support and get ad-free episodes and a bunch of other cool stuff: patreon.com/jasoncabassi  Or go to buymeacoffee.com/cabassi for a one-time donation. This is it, our take on the final episode of Ash vs. Evil Dead, and also the final episode of this podcast. As you'll be able to tell by listening, this podcast was really special for the three of us, and we're sad to see it end for many reasons, not the least of which is that you guys were listening and you wrote and called in with some great comments. Thank you guys! You are truly GROOVY!!   You can hear more of Jason's podcasting at podcastica.com, including shows on Walking Dead (and Fear the Walking Dead), Westworld, and Legion, among others. You can hear Chris talk about TWD and FTWD at talkingdeadpodcast.com.  And the three of us will surely podcast together again at some point, so stay tuned. We'll leave the Facebook group up for us all to keep in touch with any announcements, Evil Dead talk, and whatever else: facebook.com/evildeadcast Big thanks to Daily Dead for publishing our episodes. They have all kinds of horror news, interviews, and features, and you can find them at dailydead.com.  Just for the hell of it, why not tell Netflix you'd like to see Ash vs. Evil Dead continue on there! You can do that here: help.netflix.com/en/titlerequest Thanks again y'all! Peace be with you. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Everything's coming to a head this week, and it's exciting and all kinds of f*#ed up! And we loved it all! What did we NOT love? But, we're happy to do a couple more episodes of this podcast, and we'd love if you guys took part in the last one, next week. So write or call in and let us know what this show, these movies, and/or this podcast has meant to you, and we'll read/play it on the air. Things are getting seriously grave on AVED lately, with two-thirds of the Ghost Beaters technically dead, and our opinions are divided about it. Plus, one of you brave souls submitted a reading of a scene from AVED!!! Who will be next? How about YOU?! I'm not in this podcast episode so I don't know what Rich and Chris said, but I'm sure it was great. Enjoy! (P.S. I thought the episode was awesome, but rather disturbing seeing Ashy Slashy slashing up all those teenagers, even if it was his evil dupe!)   You can call us at (650) 485-DEAD, that's (650) 485-3323, or write to us at [email protected]. Vicious battle between the two badass chicks on the show this week, plus an interdimensional encounter in the cellar. And the plot just keeps getting more and more complicated. Join Rich and Jason to talk it through! Don't forget, we're taking a cue from Chris' Talking Dead podcast and asking you guys to send in recordings of yourselves acting out any scene (from and season) from Ash vs. Evil Dead. We'll play them in the final episode this season and the winner will get a prize. You can use your phone to record yourself, and it's fun! It's been so fun to see Ash trying his misguided best to be a good dad this season, and as you guys know, we think Arielle Carver O'Neill has been fantastic as his daughter. So it was great to get to know Arielle a bit this episode and find out about her experience on the show. And then, of course, our reaction to toddler Ash clone crawling up through the vagina of a decapitated body and driving it around like some kind of perverted fighting robot corpse. Yep. Also, ANNOUNCEMENT: We're taking a cue from Chris' Talking Dead podcast and asking you guys to send in recordings of yourselves acting out any scene (from and season) from Ash vs. Evil Dead.
