The world cannot see our King, but they can see what happens to people who live under His rule. Grace does more than save us. It trains us, changes us, and produces a life that reflects the character of Jesus. Our preaching and our practice should show the world that the King is in the house.   Invest in the mission and vision of Westside: https://westsidebaptist.org/give   FOLLOW Westside Baptist Church:  ► Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/westsidegainesville  ► Facebook | https://www.facebook.com/westsidegainesville  ► Website | https://www.westsidebaptist.org

Hezekiah shows us what a faithful king looks like: one who tears down idols, restores true worship, and leads people back to God. But even the best king falls short. Jesus is the greater King, the perfect fulfillment we've been waiting for. Manasseh was one of the most wicked kings in the history of Judah. He reigned 55 years. He sacrificed his own children. He filled the temple with idols. Scripture says he made things worse than the nations God had driven out before Israel ever arrived. And God forgave him. In this message from 2 Chronicles 33, Pastor David Chauncey unpacks why Chronicles tells the part of Manasseh's story that Kings leaves out and why that missing piece is one of the most hopeful passages in all of Scripture for anyone who feels too far gone. Whether you're the Manasseh, the Hezekiah, or the parent of a prodigal, it's not too late. You can’t leave a legacy of commitment while living a life of compromise. When we choose our way over God’s way, compromise slowly pulls us away from conviction and can leave consequences for generations. God calls us to recognize His grace, repent, and renew our walk with Him. Live a life of conviction and leave a legacy of commitment.   Invest in the mission and vision of Westside: https://westsidebaptist.org/give   FOLLOW Westside Baptist Church:  ► Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/westsidegainesville  ► Facebook | https://www.facebook.com/westsidegainesville  ► Website | https://www.westsidebaptist.org

Josiah became king at eight years old. His grandfather had spent 55 years filling the land with pagan shrines and false gods. His father was assassinated after two years. By any measure, he inherited the worst possible spiritual legacy. What happened next is one of the most unexpected turnaround stories in all of Scripture. A young king with nothing to build on became the starting point for national revival — because he sought God himself, tore down what his grandfathers had built, and discovered a forgotten Bible in the rubble of the temple. When Josiah heard it read, he tore his clothes. Whatever spiritual legacy has been passed to you — whether it's something broken, something missing, or something that needs to stop — Josiah's story says the same thing God said to him: it came to you, but it doesn't have to go through you.  Invest in the mission and vision of Westside: https://westsidebaptist.org/give FOLLOW Westside Baptist Church:  ► Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/westsidegainesville  ► Facebook | https://www.facebook.com/westsidegainesville  ► Website | https://www.westsidebaptist.org

Faith doesn’t become a legacy by accident. Kingdom families teach the Word intentionally, model faith publicly, and invest in relationships that shape the next generation. We are not called to be experts in faith, but partners in faith. What we live today can become a spiritual inheritance for those who come after us.   Invest in the mission and vision of Westside: https://westsidebaptist.org/give   FOLLOW Westside Baptist Church:  ► Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/westsidegainesville  ► Facebook | https://www.facebook.com/westsidegainesville  ► Website | https://www.westsidebaptist.org

Faith can be passed down, but it cannot be inherited. Rehoboam followed the patterns of his father instead of seeking the wisdom of God, showing us how easily faith can become cultural instead of personal. But one generation can change everything. Make your faith personal, model a real relationship with Jesus, and follow Him with authenticity.   Invest in the mission and vision of Westside: https://westsidebaptist.org/give   FOLLOW Westside Baptist Church:  ► Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/westsidegainesville  ► Facebook | https://www.facebook.com/westsidegainesville  ► Website | https://www.westsidebaptist.org

Life is unpredictable. Success is never guaranteed, pleasure never fully satisfies, and tomorrow is never promised. Yet in the middle of life's uncertainty, God calls us to live with joy, purpose, and confidence in Him. Wisdom can sharpen the mind. Pleasure can satisfy for a moment. Success can fill our hands. Yet none of them can fill the eternity God placed in our hearts. Ecclesiastes 2 reminds us that every earthly pursuit falls short apart from Him. True joy is not found in what we build, buy, or achieve, but in the Shepherd who gives meaning, purpose, and pleasures forevermore.   Invest in the mission and vision of Westside: https://westsidebaptist.org/give   FOLLOW Westside Baptist Church:  ► Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/westsidegainesville  ► Facebook | https://www.facebook.com/westsidegainesville  ► Website | https://www.westsidebaptist.org

Life promises satisfaction through success, achievement, and endless striving, yet our hearts are still left searching. Ecclesiastes exposes the emptiness of chasing what cannot last and points us to the only One who gives lasting life, freedom, and purpose. Growth in God's Kingdom is not about trying harder. It is about staying connected to the One who gives life. Individualism builds walls, but Jesus prayed for something greater. A people marked by unity, humility, and sacrificial love. When we choose we over me, we reflect the heart of God, show the world who He is, and live in light of the eternity we share together. Step into a life that is bigger than yourself and rooted in Christ-centered community.   Invest in the mission and vision of Westside: https://westsidebaptist.org/give   FOLLOW Westside Baptist Church:  ► Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/westsidegainesville  ► Facebook | https://www.facebook.com/westsidegainesville  ► Website | https://www.westsidebaptist.org

Truth is not shaped by culture, feelings, or what seems right in the moment. Our hearts can deceive us and the world will always offer an easier path, but Jesus points us to something better. He reveals the Father, speaks words that give life, and calls us to stand firm in what is true.   God’s truth does more than inform us. It saves us, sets us apart, unites us, and fills us with lasting joy. And it does not stop there. Truth sends us into the world with purpose. Not to blend in, but to live differently and point others to the only One who gives eternal life.   Invest in the mission and vision of Westside: https://westsidebaptist.org/give   FOLLOW Westside Baptist Church:  ► Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/westsidegainesville  ► Facebook | https://www.facebook.com/westsidegainesville  ► Website | https://www.westsidebaptist.org
