"God's Design For... Money" // God's Design For... // Jason Hatch
2026/09/27
In this sermon pastor Jason focuses on Gods design for money, emphasizing that money reveals what is truly happening in our hearts. From 1 Timothy 6, we are reminded that having wealth does not make us spiritually rich, and we should not put our hope, identity, or security in money. Instead, God calls us to enjoy His blessings with gratitude. Being generous and ready to share, using our resources to serve His kingdom and store up treasures in heaven. Ultimately, we are called to love God and use money.

"God's Design For... Singleness" // God's Design For... // Jason Hatch
2026/09/20
In this message from Redeemer Church’s “God’s Design For” series, Pastor Jason teaches from 1 Corinthians 7 that singleness is not a waiting room or second-class status, but a good gift from God that can free believers for undivided devotion to Christ. Contrasting cultural idols of marriage and self with the unique Christian vision, he points to Jesus and Paul and calls the church to identity in Christ, contentment, sexual holiness, deep friendships, and leveraging every season for the gospel. Whether you are single, married, or in between, the deepest question is not whether you will find someone, but whether you have found Christ.

"God's Design For... Friendship" // God's Design For... // Josh Gatewood
2026/09/13
In an age of loneliness, “friendship recession,” and AI companionship, Pastor Josh Gatewood asks what Scripture actually says about friendship. From Ecclesiastes 4:9–11 and Proverbs, this message from Redeemer Church’s God’s Design For series shows why friendship is a necessity (not a luxury), why it has limits, and how friends help form us in Christ—because Jesus is the friend of sinners who laid down His life for us.

"God's Design For... Family" // God's Design For... // Jonathan Galvan
2026/09/06
In this message from Redeemer Church’s “God’s Design For” series, Pastor Jonathan Galvan teaches from Deuteronomy 6 that the family is God’s primary plan for passing the faith to the next generation and that the Great Commission begins at home. He calls parents to a God-centered, Word-saturated life—modeling genuine love for Christ in everyday rhythms of morning, mealtime, drive time, and bedtime—while reminding grandparents and singles they also play a vital role. The sermon urges the church to pray, knowing only God can awaken children’s hearts to the gospel.

"God's Design For... Marriage" // God's Design For... // Jason Hatch
2026/08/30
In this message from Redeemer Church’s “God’s Design For” series, we look at God’s original blueprint for marriage in Genesis 2: a covenant of unity, holiness, and intimacy that answers the first “not good” in creation and points beyond itself to Christ and the church. The sermon traces five implications of that design—covenant rather than contract, unity over being right, holiness before happiness, the permanence of the marriage bond, and the gift of being fully known and accepted—and then shows how every marriage is meant to echo the new covenant sealed by Jesus’ blood. Whether you are married, single, or carrying a complicated story around this topic, the call is the same: let marriage point you to the gospel.

"God's Design For... Work" // God's Design For... // Jason Hatch
2026/08/23
In this message from Redeemer Church’s “God’s Design For” series, Pastor Jason Hatch opens Genesis 1–2 to reveal that God is a worker from the beginning and that work is central to what it means to be made in His image—long before the Fall. He addresses the twin dangers of laziness and workaholism (drawing on Scripture and Tim Keller), shows that every vocation can be worship when done for the Lord, and points to Jesus, who finished the ultimate work on the cross so we can rest in His acceptance and then work from it.

"Worship & Witness" // Acts // Josh Gatewood
2026/08/16
In Acts 16, Pastor Josh Gatewood unpacks the dramatic story of Paul and Silas in Philippi—casting out a demon, enduring unjust beating and imprisonment, singing hymns at midnight, and seeing a jailer and his household come to faith. This message challenges us with a powerful question: What do you want the “dash” of your life to be about? Through counterintuitive worship in suffering and countercultural witness, we are invited to join Jesus in His mission as He overcomes every opposition.

"Two Purple Robes" // Acts // Jason Hatch
2026/08/09
This message from Acts 16:11-15 traces the gospel’s first arrival in Europe through the conversion of Lydia, a successful seller of purple goods and worshiper of God in Philippi. God opens her heart to the message of Jesus, leading to her baptism, the salvation of her household, and a lifestyle of radical hospitality that helps plant a thriving church. The sermon challenges every “worshiper of God” that generic belief is not enough—true faith requires a personal response to the humble, self-sacrificing King who wore a mock purple robe on the cross so that we might be clothed in His righteousness.

"The Second Journey Begins" // Acts // Jason Hatch
2026/08/02
In this message from Redeemer Church, Pastor Jason walks through Acts 15:36–16:10 as Paul and Barnabas part ways after a sharp disagreement, Paul recruits the young disciple Timothy, and the Holy Spirit redirects their second missionary journey toward Europe. The sermon highlights Timothy’s unlikely background, the quiet but world-changing faithfulness of his mother Eunice and grandmother Lois, and the call for every believer to engage in intentional discipleship—either as a Paul investing in the next generation or as a Timothy seeking mentors—so the gospel continues to advance.

"The Council Speaks" // Acts // Jason Hatch
2026/07/26
In this message from Redeemer Church in Midland, Texas, the sermon examines Acts 15 and the Jerusalem Council’s response to threats against the pure gospel of grace and tensions between Jewish and Gentile believers. It underscores that salvation rests solely on Christ’s finished work (“It is finished”), offers practical wisdom for unity across cultural differences by laying down freedoms that needlessly offend, and highlights the council’s clear call to abstain from sexual immorality as God’s good design for human flourishing. The message ends with a gospel invitation to repentance and the assurance of Christ as our advocate.

"Jerusalem Council" // Acts // Jason Hatch
2026/07/19
In this sermon, Pastor Jason discusses the Jerusalem Council in Acts 15, which is a pivotal moment in the early church when leaders had to answer an essential question: Is salvation received by God’s grace through faith, or must people earn it through religious works? As the Gentiles were coming to faith in Jesus, some Jewish believers insisted they first obey the Law of Moses—including circumcision—to truly be saved. Paul, Barnabas, Peter, and James firmly rejected this teaching, declaring that salvation has always been by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ. The council concluded that believers should never place unnecessary burdens on those coming to Christ because Jesus has already accomplished everything necessary for salvation. The pastor challenges the church to see that this struggle still exists today.

Job // Week 7 : Repentance and Restoration
2026/07/12
In the powerful conclusion to Redeemer Church’s summer series on the Book of Job, Pastor Josh Gatewood unpacks Job 42 and shows how we can cultivate real, lasting hope in seasons of hardship and suffering. After encountering God’s majesty, Job shifts from demanding explanations to trusting in a deeper relationship with his sovereign, good, and covenantal Lord—relenting from his complaints and laying his pain at God’s feet. This message reveals how the prayers, patience, and purpose of Job ultimately point us to Jesus, the one who stands in the gap, restores all things, and gives us unshakeable hope.

Job // Week 6 : God Speaks to Job
2026/07/05
In this sermon Pastor Matt Stephens, focuses on Job 38–41, where God finally answers Job—not by explaining his suffering, but by revealing Himself. After 35 chapters of questions and silence, God speaks from the whirlwind and responds with a series of questions that highlight His wisdom, power, and care over all creation. Rather than giving Job the reason for his suffering, God reminds him that He alone governs the universe, controls the chaos, and even holds the greatest forces of evil and death on a leash. Job’s deepest need was not an explanation but a renewed vision of who God is. The sermon emphasizes that bringing honest questions to God is not a lack of faith; it is often an act of holding on to Him. The main application was that while we may never receive answers to all our “why” questions, we can trust God’s heart because He has already demonstrated His love through Christ.

Job // Week 5 : Miserable Comforters
2026/06/28
This week in our sermon, Pastor Brandon Bergvall focuses on the long conversations between Job and his three friends (Job 4-37). Although the friends genuinely wanted to comfort Job, they assumed his suffering must have been the result of hidden sin. Their belief was simple: God always blesses the righteous, always punishes the wicked, and therefore anyone suffering must deserve it. While parts of their theology were true -- God is sovereign, just, and sin does have consequences -- their conclusions were wrong because Job was innocent. Their faulty understanding of God caused them to add to Job's pain instead of comforting him. Pastor Brandon's sermon emphasizes that bad theology makes bad friends, warning that half-truths about God can be deeply damaging when applied without wisdom or compassion.

Job // Week 4 : Faith and Lament
2026/06/21
This sermon from Job 23 focuses on the question, “How do we worship while we wait?” Pastor Josh Gatewood explains that seasons of suffering, weakness, and feeling distant from God are a normal part of the Christian life. Like Job, believers may experience times when God seems absent, yet God is often using those moments to deepen their trust, teach dependence on Him, and reveal that His grace is sufficient. The message emphasized that deeper worship often comes through greater weakness, as trials expose our need for God and draw us closer to Him.
