Detectives knocked on Ashlee Boyson's door and told her two things at once. Her husband had been having an affair. And the woman's husband had found him at a Walgreens and shot him twice. She had five kids at home. The youngest was six weeks old. And she had built her entire sense of who she was on being his wife, which meant that when he died, so did she. That night she went into her closet and asked God for a do-over. What she got instead was an instruction to stand back up. Then she did the thing nobody expects. She sat down to write about the man who took her husband's life, ready to burn him down in public. The blog crashed. Nothing saved. She turned it back on and the screen was blank. And she understood she was being asked to tell the story a completely different way. That blog became The Moments We Stand, and the writing itself became the thing that brought her back to life. Ashlee is now teaching that process. If you have a story you've never been able to put down, her Write My Way Out Workshop opens soon and the waitlist is here: https://pages.ashleeboyson.com/writing-waitlist   What we get into: -Why she couldn't tell who she was without a man reflecting it back at her -The second marriage that repeated the exact same pattern, and the public divorce -Why showing up as the rescuer guarantees you'll attract victims -Peace at all costs is not peace -Why awareness is where most people stop, and what it actually takes to change -The fear of being fully yourself online once your audience has decided who you are We even get into a live coaching session. We find the real fear underneath Ashlee's next level in about four minutes, on camera. That's the work I do. It's the same pattern that keeps women rescuing everyone, staying busy instead of deciding, and freezing when it's time to move. If you watched that section and recognized yourself, Power Moves is where we take it apart. JOIN THE NEXT WORKSHOP HERE:

Ally Adair Chung scaled a seven-figure learning center in six years while homeschooling three kids — then sold it. In this conversation, she tells the full version of that story, including the part most success stories leave out: what the growth actually cost her nervous system, her marriage, and her ability to be present for any of it. If you've ever been told the answer is "more hustle," this is the cautionary tale nobody gave you before you started. Inside this episode: • Why racing thoughts in the shower are not a badge of honor • The "jumping" pattern that makes you absent in every role you're playing • Ally's Maslow-level test for burnout (if you forgot to eat, drink, or use the bathroom today, this one's for you) • The quote that changed how Ally thinks about motherhood and business: "The battles we don't fight, we hand to our children" • A live coaching moment on the real fear hiding behind "I don't want to make content" • How to rebuild a business slowly, on purpose, after the first version burned you out About Ally: Ally helps school founders — micro schools, homeschool hybrids, and learning alternatives — grow and scale sustainably. She has worked with over 1,000 families worldwide, built and sold a seven-figure learning center, and now coaches others to build without losing themselves. 🔗 Connect with Ally: Instagram, https://disruptoredu.com  🔗 Connect with Kirsten: Instagram TikTok Email: [email protected] Subscribe to Unshakable Success with Kirsten Tyrrel wherever you listen, so you don't miss what's coming.

You don't need a near-death experience to wake up… but you do need a moment where you stop living on autopilot. In this episode, I'm sitting down with Vinney Tolman, author of The Light After Death, to talk about what shifted for him after being found clinically dead in 2003- and what he brought back that changes how you live right now. We talk about authenticity (the real kind… not the "I overshare on Instagram so I'm healed" kind 😅), the power of the present moment, what it means to live in your "soul song," and why forgiveness isn't just spiritual- it's freedom. This conversation is especially for you if you're a woman of faith, a mom, or a leader who's successful on paper… but craving deeper peace, purpose, and alignment. You'll learn: ✅ What authenticity actually is (and why toddlers + 85-year-olds are the pros) ✅ How to tell if you're living your dream… or someone else's ✅ Why "destination is the journey" (and what that changes about goals + ambition) ✅ Vinney's simple breath practice to shift your state fast ✅ How to recognize your soul's imprint- and start living from it ✅ Why forgiveness is the "fence" that either blocks or opens your personal heaven ✅ What Vinney learned about love, connection, and what real wealth is on the other side Connect with Vinney: The Light After Death Book - https://amzn.to/4qpxUxq  Work with Vinney: LivingGodsLight.org Vinney's Instagram: www.instagram.com/vinneytolman Vinney's Facebook: ttps://www.facebook.com/vinneyt Join the Unshakable Collective to learn how to shift from survival to peace in your daily life HERE.

10 years from now, you won't regret that it wasn't perfect… you'll regret that you didn't start. There's a trend going around comparing 2016 vs 2026, and when I looked back at my own life, I realized something huge: the messy action I took back then is still impacting my life and business today. In this episode, I'm sharing why motivation isn't enough when you feel stuck—and what's actually happening in your brain when you feel anxious, behind, or scared to start again. You'll learn: ✅ why overthinking is a safety response (not laziness) ✅ how your brain pulls evidence from the past to keep you "safe" ✅ why motivation doesn't work when you don't feel emotionally secure ✅ my simple 10-Minute Move to stop spiraling and take action ✅ a 7-day challenge to build momentum and self-trust again If you're a mom, entrepreneur, or woman of faith who feels overwhelmed, unsure, or ready to stop playing small… this episode will help you move forward. ✨ Want coaching + community + deeper emotional regulation tools? In this episode, I had the pleasure of speaking with Brooke Romney, a writer and parenting expert who focuses on helping parents navigate the teenage years with confidence and grace. Brooke shares her journey from blogging about family activities to becoming a go-to resource for parents of teens, offering invaluable insights on building confidence, fostering independence, and maintaining strong relationships with our children as they grow. Key Takeaways: Evolution of purpose: Brooke's path from writing about family activities to addressing the unique challenges of parenting teens demonstrates how our callings can evolve over time. Confidence through action: True confidence comes from doing hard things and overcoming challenges, not from constant praise or shielding from difficulties. Empowering vs. rescuing: Parents should focus on empowering their children to handle challenges rather than always trying to rescue them from discomfort. Character-based compliments: Praise children for their character traits and efforts rather than just outcomes or innate abilities. Intentional parenting decisions: Make choices based on love and empowerment rather than fear and guilt. Social skills as learned abilities: Recognize that social confidence and skills can be developed with practice and guidance. Modeling growth mindset: Show children how to receive feedback and grow from challenges by doing so yourself. Actionable Tips: Encourage your teens to do things that feel hard, allowing them to build competence and confidence. When giving compliments, focus on internal qualities and character traits rather than just external achievements. Create opportunities for your children to contribute meaningfully at home and in their communities. Practice taking feedback gracefully and model how to grow from constructive criticism. When making parenting decisions, ask yourself if you're acting out of fear and guilt or love and empowerment. Help your children develop social skills and manners to increase their confidence in various situations. Allow your children to experience natural consequences and learn from their mistakes instead of always rescuing them. Resources Mentioned: Brooke's Instagram: @brookeromnywrites 52 Modern Manners for Teens  52 Modern Manners for Kids    Remember, building confidence in our teens starts with cultivating our own unshakable confidence as parents. By focusing on character development, providing opportunities for growth, and maintaining open communication, we can help our children navigate the challenging teen years with resilience and self-assurance.
