The Lord Is My Shepherd
2026/10/04
Pastor Tami Monk opens a new series on Psalm 23, focusing on the first verse as a foundation for understanding what it means to be led by the Good Shepherd. Drawing on the covenant name of God, Yahweh, she establishes that David's declaration was not a passive recitation but a mature, tested proclamation of relational trust in a faithful, self-existent God. The sermon challenges listeners to examine who or what is truly shepherding them, arguing that the feeling of constant want and lack is often the result of following voices other than the Good Shepherd. Pastor Tami calls the congregation to humble dependence, inviting them to break covenant with competing voices and attachments and to follow Jesus as the one shepherd who leads his sheep into fullness, belonging, and peace.
Sunday Service
2026/09/27
Drawing on personal testimony, campus ministry experience, and Ephesians 2, Dr. Rice Broocks challenges believers to see that the world operates under a spiritual current that pulls people away from God, and that only the gospel can interrupt and redirect that course. He emphasizes that Christianity is not merely a system of rules but a treasury of promises, and that those promises provide the power to obey God's commands. From his early distaste for church to planting congregations after 9/11, from campus ministry at Mississippi State to conversations on airplanes, Brooks weaves together a consistent message: God is merciful, the gospel is the only force that deals with evil at its source, and every believer is called to be a missionary in whatever world they inhabit.
If God Is So Good, Why Do Bad Things Happen?
2026/09/20
This message addressed the question, “If God is so good, why do bad things happen?” Scripture shows us
that the brokenness we experience was not part of God’s original design. God created the world good, but
humanity’s rebellion brought sin and brokenness into our lives and into our relationships with God, one another, and creation. The condition of creation changed, but the Creator's character did not. John 11 shows us that God is not distant or indifferent to our pain. Jesus entered into Mary and Martha’s grief and wept with them. Joseph’s story reminds us that God can also redeem what was intended for harm and use even painful circumstances for His purposes. When others are hurting, we can demonstrate God’s goodness by entering into their pain and walking alongside them. We may not understand what God is doing, but we can trust who God is. God is good.
Why Does God Send People To Hell?
2026/09/13
What if the hardest questions about faith are actually invitations to discover something deeper? This message takes on one of the most uncomfortable questions believers and skeptics alike wrestle with: why does God send people to hell? Rather than softening the edges of this question, we are walked straight through it with honesty and compassion. The parable of the rich man and Lazarus in Luke 16 becomes our guide, and what we find there is striking. The rich man is never named. Lazarus is. Jesus knew the broken, suffering man by name while the one who had everything is remembered only by what he possessed. That detail alone is worth sitting with. It challenges us to ask whether we are living in a way that is known by our identity in God or merely by our achievements and accumulations. The message reframes the original question entirely, pushing us to ask not why God sends people away, but why a holy God would go to such extraordinary lengths to invite us close. Sin creates a chasm, but the good news is that we are not left to climb over it on our own. There is a way through.
Can I Be Gay & Love God?
2026/09/06
What does it truly mean to love God? Not the version we invent for ourselves, but the love He actually asks for? That question sits at the heart of this powerful message, and the answer might surprise us. Drawing from Matthew 22:37, where Jesus calls us to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind, we are challenged to stop assuming we already know how to love Him and start asking what He actually desires from us. The message uses a deeply relatable illustration about giving someone a gift we think they will love, only to discover we missed the mark entirely, to show us that love without knowledge of the beloved is just well-meaning selfishness. The spiritual insight here is profound: we do not get to define how God wants to be loved any more than we get to define who made us. That realization shifts everything. It moves us from a posture of demanding that God accept us on our terms to a posture of genuine relationship, where sacrifice and submission become the language of real love.
Tap Into Joy
2026/08/30
What do we do when life has drained us dry and the trouble we are carrying feels louder than everything around us? This message takes us into the heart of that question and refuses to let us settle for a shallow, surface-level answer. Drawing from James 1:2-4, where the writer urges believers to consider their trials an opportunity for great joy, we are challenged to do something counterintuitive: stop running from the trouble and start reframing it. Not with forced positivity or a pasted-on smile, but with the deep, anchored confidence that God is present and actively at work even in the middle of our hardest moments. Joy, we discover, is not a feeling we manufacture but a reality we consider, a deliberate act of looking at our situation through the lens of God's nearness. The message draws a sharp and important line between the world's version of optimism and the biblical promise found in Isaiah 43:1-3, where God personally assures his people that deep waters will not drown them and fire will not consume them. This is not wishful thinking. This is a God who steps into the mess with us. If we have been carrying our trouble alone and wondering whether faith has anything real to offer us in it, this message is a direct and honest answer.
Tap Into Contentment
2026/08/23
What does it actually mean to be tapped out? Not just tired, but depleted at the deepest level, where no vacation, no purchase, no relationship, and no achievement seems to fill the void we feel inside. This message takes that honest, uncomfortable question and holds it up to the light of Psalm 16:11, where the psalmist David declares that the path of life and the fullness of joy are found not in circumstances or accomplishments, but in the very presence of God. We are invited to examine the ways we have tried to charge our lives by closing apps, dimming screens, and cutting back, only to find the battery still dying, because we have never reconnected to the actual source. The central insight here is both simple and radical: the path of life is not merely a direction God points us in, it is wherever God himself is. That reframes everything. It means we have not been suffering from a lack of things. We have been suffering from a disconnection from the one who is life itself. If we have ever gotten the thing we thought we needed and still felt empty, this message speaks directly to that ache and offers something far more sustaining than another strategy.
Tap Into Purpose
2026/08/16
What does it truly mean to be tapped into your purpose? This message cuts straight to the heart of a question so many of us wrestle with, and it does so by anchoring us in one of the most powerful commissions ever spoken. Drawing from Matthew 28:18-20, where Jesus declares his authority and then charges his followers to go and make disciples of all nations, we are reminded that purpose is not something we invent for ourselves. It is something we step into when we align our lives with the mission of Jesus. The message draws a sharp and clarifying line between being tapped out and being tapped in. When we are tapped out, we are disconnected, exhausted, and empty. When we are tapped in, we are connected to the source, energized, and engaged. Many of us have been searching for purpose in promotions, relationships, and personal achievements, only to find ourselves worn down. But this message offers a redirecting truth: our purpose is rooted in joining Jesus in seeking and saving the lost, as described in Luke 19:10. When our lives align with that mission, something shifts. The restlessness quiets. The searching stops. We stop running on empty and start drawing from a well that never runs dry.
Tap Into Freedom
2026/08/09
What does it truly mean to live free? Not just free in theory, but free in the way we wake up each morning, face our struggles, and carry our identity. This message takes us deep into that question, anchoring us in Galatians 5:1, where Paul declares that Christ set us free for the purpose of freedom itself, and 2 Corinthians 5:17, which reminds us that in Christ we are entirely new creations. We are walked through four powerful and practical pillars of living in that freedom: remembering what Christ accomplished on the cross, resisting the schemes of the enemy by standing firm on the Word of God, refusing to return to the things that once bound us, and resting in the identity and purpose God has placed within us. The message is not a call to try harder or muster up more willpower. It is an invitation to lean into the Holy Spirit as our ever-present help. Freedom, we discover, is not just a personal blessing. It is a testimony that reaches forward into generations we may never meet.
Tap Into Winning
2026/08/02
What does it mean to truly tap into winning? Not the kind of winning the world celebrates in championships or career milestones, but the kind of winning that holds steady when life hits hardest. Romans 8:31-37 lays out a bold, rhetorical challenge: if God is for us, what can possibly stand against us? The answer is not a feeling or a circumstance. It is a Person. This message takes us deep into the reality that Christ living in us is not a motivational concept but a supernatural truth that rewrites the outcome of every battle we face. The fight, as it turns out, is already fixed. Not by luck or effort, but by the One who defeated death itself. We are invited to stop fighting for victory and start fighting from it, because the script has already been written and it ends with us winning.
Lilo & Stitch
2026/07/26
What if the very thing the world calls a mistake is exactly what God calls chosen? In this message drawn from the beloved story of Lilo and Stitch, we explore what it truly means to belong. Through the lens of two outcasts finding each other, we are reminded that God never creates accidents. No label, no rejection, no painful history disqualifies us from His love. The key scriptures anchoring this message come from Psalm 139, where we are reminded that God knit us together with intention and that His thoughts toward us outnumber the grains of sand. We also look at Romans 5:8, which tells us that God demonstrated His love by sending Christ to die for us while we were still in our mess, not after we cleaned up. The parallel between Stitch being chosen by Lilo despite being called a monstrosity and the way God chooses us despite our flaws is both striking and deeply personal. The message challenges us to stop agreeing with the accusations of the enemy and start receiving the truth of who God says we are. If we have ever felt like an outsider, forgotten, or written off, this message speaks directly to that place and invites us into something far greater than we imagined.
How To Train A Dragon
2026/07/19
This sermon uses the film "How to Train Your Dragon" to illustrate profound spiritual truths about identity, acceptance, and transformation. Through Hiccup's journey from rejection to acceptance, the message reveals how God sees beyond our outward appearance to our hearts, how our perceived weaknesses can become our greatest strengths, and how humility and forgiveness lead to restoration. The sermon challenges believers to stop conforming to worldly expectations and instead embrace who God created them to be. It emphasizes that true transformation comes not from earning approval through performance, but through surrendering to God and allowing Him to renew our minds. The climax demonstrates how one person's willingness to see differently—guided by truth rather than fear—can transform an entire community.
F1
2026/07/12
What if the very thing we thought disqualified us from God's purpose was actually the exact tool He wanted to use? This powerful message takes us on a journey through the story of Sonny Hayes, a seasoned racer haunted by his past, who discovers that redemption isn't about erasing our history—it's about allowing God to transform it. Through the lens of Romans 8:28, we're reminded that God causes everything to work together for good for those who love Him. Sonny's story mirrors our own spiritual journey: we've all crashed, we've all failed, and we've all wondered if we've gone too far. Yet when we come to the Father through faith in Jesus, nothing is wasted. The message challenges us to see that our past is true, but it's not the truth—it doesn't have the authority to define our future. As 2 Corinthians 5:17 declares, anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person; the old life is gone, and a new life has begun. The beautiful paradox is that the very experiences we're most ashamed of become the testimony that helps someone else find hope. Our freedom isn't just for us—it's so we can turn around and help the next person discover that they too can be redeemed.
Zootopia 2
2026/07/05
What happens when we discover that the divisions we've accepted as normal were built on lies? This powerful exploration through Zootopia 2 challenges us to examine how fear, assumption, and incomplete information create barriers between people who were meant to work together. We're confronted with a sobering reality: an entire population pushed to the margins because of a false narrative that went unchallenged for a century. The sermon draws us into the biblical vision of the body of Christ from 1 Corinthians 12, where every part matters and harmony is possible when we genuinely care for one another. We see how Judy's relentless pursuit of truth, even when it costs her everything, mirrors Jesus's call in John 8 that knowing the truth will set us free. The anti-venom moment becomes a stunning picture of our desperate need for what only Christ can provide—we cannot save ourselves from the poison of sin any more than Judy could produce her own cure. But here's the hope: God doesn't just rescue us and leave us unchanged. He transforms us into carriers of the very answer the world is searching for. We're invited to live differently, love genuinely, and pursue unity in a fractured world, not because the weight is on our shoulders, but because He will succeed in completing His plan.
Miss Out, Gain More
2026/06/28
Pastor Brent Garrard delivers a compelling message about discovering true and lasting joy through intentionally living in God's presence rather than merely visiting it on Sundays. He challenges the cultural narrative that joy is found in accumulating more experiences, possessions, or opportunities, instead presenting the biblical truth that fullness of joy is found exclusively in God's presence. The sermon emphasizes that the Christian life requires intentional preparation, pursuit, and perseverance to partake in God's presence daily. Drawing from his own experience with burnout and depression, Pastor Gerard authentically shares how he learned that we are not meant to be visitors of God's presence but rather to abide in it continually. He addresses the modern challenge of distractions, particularly technology, that hinder our awareness of God's constant presence. The message culminates in a call to obedience—laying down whatever the Holy Spirit has revealed as hindrances to experiencing the fullness of joy available in communion with the Father.
