Description

Epiphany Church is a multi-ethnic church plant in the Bedford Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, NY. We are a local church learning what it means to follow Jesus in a complex city. We see ourselves in a growing relationship with Jesus and one another, a relationship that ignites us to be agents of change in our city. Similar to the early disciples, we are made up of different ethnicities, socioeconomic make up, young families, singles, professionals, Brooklyn natives, and artists which makes us quite the motley crew to serve Jesus.

Welcome Home | Pastor Caleb Merlain | 26.09.20
2026/09/21
This passage shows three different angles of vision on how lost people matter to God. A couple of weeks ago, we discovered that the prodigal son wanders away from the father due to a lack of reverence. However, the beginning of the chapter shows other reasons people get lost: a sheep wanders out of ignorance, and a coin is lost out of negligence. Regardless of the reason, this entire passage reflects God’s immeasurable love for sinners. As we begin the Homecoming season, it is fitting to remind ourselves that no matter how you get lost, God is determined for you to be found. When sinners are finally found, the saints should have only one response.

Rated M for Mature | Pastor Caleb Merlain | 26.09.06
2026/09/07
Our church has been in a season of spiritual maturity for the past year. While we've discussed maturity, it's important to address the cost of our immaturity. Within this passage, the author teaches that immaturity affects not only your behavior but also your capacity. Many of us have been asking God for more blessings, more revelation, and more resources, but our maturity in the faith affects what the Lord is able to give. Holding on to what once was limits us from what could be. This sermon explores the obstacles to our maturity and the source of our growth.

The Math Ain't Mathin' | Pastor Ayinde Samuel | 26.08.16

When Peter asked Jesus how many times he really had to forgive, he thought he was being generous. Jesus answered with a number so high it was never meant to be counted: seventy times seven. In this message, we sit with a servant who got millions wiped and still choked a man over what is comparably pocket change, and we come face to face with a mercy that refuses to keep score. Because if God counted the way we count, we all would be doomed.
There's Still Hope | Deacon Jair Froome | 26.08.09
2026/08/10
Romans 5:1-5 Hope is a fundamental aspect of the human experience. Generally, we place our hope in things that we want to enjoy in the future but can’t fully experience in the present. But the guaranteed, eternal hope that Jesus secured for those who believe in His finished work on the cross has both present and future benefits. In this sermon, we’ll explore how God helps followers of Jesus to remain hopeful through all seasons of life.
Superintelligence | Pastor Ayinde Samuel | 26.08.02

The richest men on earth are racing to build a mind greater than man's, and every new press release makes the fear feel more real: the layoffs, the shrinking paychecks, the quiet dread that you're replaceable, till everybody's asking the same thing folks been asking since the beginning: who am I? So we're taking it back, back to the greatest press release ever dropped, back to what it means to carry the image and likeness of God. Genesis 1 reminds us our worth was settled before we ever did a single thing! So let God remind you who you are in Christ. Primary Scripture(s) (NKJV): Genesis 1:1-3; Genesis 1:26-31; Genesis 11:1-9; Colossians 1:16

There Has To Be More | Pastor Brandon Watts | 26.06.28
2026/06/29
In John 4, Jesus meets a woman carrying more than a water jar and reveals a truth that speaks to every restless heart searching for lasting satisfaction. This message invites us to consider whether the things we're chasing can truly satisfy and points us to the One who can.
What Makes a Real Father? | Pastor Brandon Watts | 26.06.21
2026/06/22
As we look at the baptism of Jesus, we'll see what the Father reveals about Himself and what every father should strive to be. It's a message about presence, identity, and the powerful impact a father can have in the life of a child.
Flaws | Pastor Brandon Watts | 26.06.14
2026/06/15
We all have areas of brokenness, weakness, and struggle that we’d rather keep hidden. This Sunday, we’ll look at the story of Naaman and discover how God’s grace meets us in the very places where we are most aware of our need for Him.
He May Not Come When You Want Him | Pastor Caleb Merlain | 26.06.07
2026/06/08
Have you ever put God on a timeline? Submitted a prayer request that was time sensitive? Yet instead of receiving a response you found yourself in the God’s waiting room. If that wasn’t enough, it’s while you’re stuck in God’s waiting room that your situation goes from bad to worse. In our passage today we find dear friends of Jesus stuck in His waiting room not by negligence but by design. This story serves as a reminder that sometimes God’s delay could result in our very deliverance. Wait on the Lord.

Jesus + Bible
The longer I go to church, these are the only two things I need in a church. And Pastor B brings it every week. So grateful gift this church.
