Podcast Town 134 : The Survivalist's Podcast : Back to School Edition

2026/10/02

With Rob out of prison, the show returns to doing what it does best: playing other people's podcasts (OPP). This week's featured episode is from a couple of British survivalists with very legitimate accents, and it's all about how to survive back to school time (in the woods).

Podcast Town 133 : You'll Never Catch Me (by Anonymous Host)

2026/09/18

Rob calls in to the show from prison after getting caught robbing a bank last episode. He insists the whole thing was a set up and he has the podcast to prove it. But who could have concocted such an elaborate plan to frame him for the crime?

Podcast Town 132 : Live From The Bank

2026/09/04

Chris waits in the car while Rob tries to secure a small business loan at the bank.

Podcast Town 131 : Alpha Male Retreat

2026/08/21

This week's featured podcast details what you'll get if you sign up for the annual Alpha Male Retreat in Santa Fe, NM. Hosting the podcast and the retreat are our old friends with Minnesota accents and self-described alphas, Bill Kaminski and Roger Moore (but not that Roger Moore).

Podcast Town 130 : 20 Minute Podcast

2026/08/07

Chris & Rob record dangerously close to their next release date, which leaves no room for editing. This also means they need to find a podcast that perfectly fits the 20 minute window for their featured episode of the week. Luckily there is a show called “20 Minutes” that slots in nicely. And would you believe the hosts have outlandish personal backstories??

Podcast Town 129 : Waiting For Tornado

2026/07/24

Today's featured podcast is hosted by two storm chasers, out to run down the biggest tornados they can find and record their experiences. Also, Rob discusses meeting Flavor Flav.

Podcast Town 128 : The Summer Country Club

2026/07/10

We give ourselves and you a break from Emeril today to bring you a great podcast we found just in time for summer. It's a peek into the high society goings on at one of America's most exclusive country clubs. Plus, Chris explains his new business venture, a “digital zoo”, to Rob.

Chris & Rob Punch Up Emeril A Notch

2026/06/26

Today we (sigh) watch another episode of Emeril Lagasse's 2001 NBC sitcom. In order to make it more interesting for us, we decide to try and punch up the jokes and the plot as we go. Can we create a more successful version of this show? You be the judge!

Chris & Rob Kick It Down A Notch (w/ guest Erika)

2026/06/12

After two episodes of watching multiple versions of the Emeril sitcom pilot, we felt we needed to reveal this show to someone else. That someone happens to to be longtime friend and reluctant guest of the podcast, Erika. What will she think of Emeril's failed 2001 comedy? What does she think about the Real Housewives of Rhode Island? Does she think Emeril was sad about 9/11? Listen to find out all this AND MORE.

Chris & Rob Kick It Up ANOTHER Notch

2026/05/29

Couldn’t get enough of Emeril Lagasse’s unaired sitcom pilot we watched last episode? Well you’re a weirdo, but you’re also in luck! Because today we are kicking it up ANOTHER notch by watching the version of the Emeril sitcom pilot that actually DID air in 2001! Why are we doing this? We don’t know! Enjoy.

Chris & Rob Kick It Up A Notch

2026/05/15

Chris & Rob set out to watch another episode of Gumby, but are quickly derailed and instead end up watching the unaired pilot of Emeril Lagasse’s short-lived 2001 NBC sitcom, “Emeril”.

Podcast Town 127 : The Air Supply Podcast

2026/05/01

Chris & Rob FINALLY get to play their podcast of the week without interruption from AI bots. But the hosts of today's featured show, all about the 80s band Air Supply, may surprise you.

Podcast Town 126 : Hermy The Cursed Guinea Pig

2026/04/17

Once again we are thwarted from playing the great featured podcast we had for this episode and are instead interrupted by Chris’s talking guinea pig who wants to do a podcast of his own.

Podcast Town 125 : The French Intruders

2026/04/03

This is getting embarrassing, but unfortunately for the third episode in a row we don’t get to play the really good podcast we had lined up to show you. Instead, Chris & Rob receive a phone call from a mysterious (and very sexy) French couple with a (very sexy) podcast of their own.

Podcast Town 124 : The Mel Gibson AI Podcast

2026/03/20

Today we are, again, interrupted before we can get to our featured podcast - this time by our AI cohost, AI Mel Gibson and his new AI talent agent.
