Book of Romans: From Position to Progress
2026/10/05
Our new position in Christ is not the end of our transformation, it is the beginning. Because we have been adopted into God's family, we don't work for His love and acceptance; we live and grow from it. Through the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit, we experience progress as the flesh loses its grip and we become more like Jesus. And that progress eventually produces proof: visible spiritual fruit in the way we love, respond, serve, and live. Know your position. Embrace the process. Let your life bear the fruit.
Book of Romans: A New Position
2026/09/27
New birth should lead to new life. In Romans 8, Paul reveals that transformation begins with understanding our new position in Christ. Through Jesus, we have been brought out of separation and adopted into God's family, not as slaves living in fear, but as beloved children with the privilege of knowing Him intimately. We no longer have to live from the perspective of our former identity. Because of Jesus, the veil has been torn, access has been granted, and we are invited to live from our new position as children of God.
Book of Romans: Set Apart, Sent Out
2026/09/20
God has not simply separated us from our former lives. He has set us apart for Himself and sent us into the world as people transformed and empowered by His gospel.
Book of Romans: Becoming Who You Already Are
2026/09/13
Romans doesn't simply show us how to be saved; it shows us what happens when the gospel begins transforming who we are and how we live. In Christ, we have been given a new identity, we are beloved, set apart, made righteous, and called saints. The question isn't simply, "Have I believed?" but "Am I being transformed?" Because the gospel that saves us is also the power of God to change us from the inside out.
FORWARD
2026/09/07
We all carry a past, hold onto things, and sometimes hide wounds that still need healing. God doesn't want us trapped by what happened yesterday or controlled by what we're carrying today; He wants to bring healing, freedom, and transformation. Sometimes we need to face what is behind us, release what we're holding, and bring what hurts into the light. Our past may be part of our story, but it doesn't get to write our future. God is calling us forward into what He has next.
The Cross: New Life
2026/08/30
The cross is more than a symbol of death—it is the promise of new life. But new life first requires death: the old self must be laid down, for we are not meant to carry what Christ has already carried. From there, new life requires formation—we are transformed as we behold Jesus, whose cross has never pointed to us, only to Him, resurrecting even the parts of us we thought were gone for good. And finally, new life requires us to carry it forward, bringing the heart of the Father, the attitude of Christ, and the fruit of the Spirit to a world still waiting to be reconciled to God.
The Cross: It is Finished
2026/08/23
Psalm 22 takes us prophetically to the foot of the cross, revealing the abandonment Jesus experienced, the anguish He endured, and ultimately the victory He accomplished. What begins with the cry, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" ends with the declaration, "He has done it!" Jesus entered our suffering, carried our sin, defeated the enemy, and opened the way for us to become part of His family. The cross is not the story of Jesus losing, it is the achievement of God. It is finished.
The Cross: Follow Me
2026/08/16
Jesus didn't just go to the cross so we could be saved from our sin—He went to the cross so we could learn to follow Him. Discipleship is more than knowing about Jesus; it is getting close enough to Jesus that His character begins to shape our lives. The closer we walk with our Rabbi, the more His love, humility, compassion, holiness, and obedience should become visible in us. The cross invites us to surrender our own way, take up our cross, and follow Jesus wherever He leads. And the invitation is still the same today: "Follow Me."
The Cross: Forsaken
2026/08/09
The cross is not merely the place where Jesus died, it is the center of God's redemptive story and the greatest demonstration of His love. Through Psalm 22, written a thousand years before Christ's crucifixion, we see a prophetic picture of Jesus becoming the Sin-Bearer as He cried, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" In that moment, Jesus experienced the abandonment our sin deserved so that we could receive the acceptance, forgiveness, and righteousness we could never earn. The wonder of the cross is that Christ took our judgment upon Himself, making a way for every broken, guilty, and repentant person to come boldly to the Father by grace alone.
The Cross: Let it Work
2026/08/04
The cross is more than the place where Jesus died for us, it is the way we are invited to follow Him. His cross is calling us to lay down what we thought would give us significance so that Christ can transform us from the inside out. As we surrender our appetites, our shame, and our earthly thinking, the cross becomes the place where God's power reshapes our hearts, renews our minds, and teaches us that obedience leads us beyond our own ability into the faithfulness of God.
House by Design: Built For Love
2026/07/26
The Christian life is not learning to love more…it is becoming so convinced of God's love that love becomes your natural response. Everything in Scripture hangs on love, not as another command, but as the foundation for every command. Yet so many of us live with a gap between knowing God loves us and actually living like we're deeply loved. As we become rooted in the Father's love, our identity is no longer shaped by the opinions of others but by His unchanging affection. From that place, our responses begin to reflect the heart of Christ. When you know whose you are, you'll finally know who you are, and the world around you will experience the love of Christ through you.

House By Design: Built for Peace
2026/07/12
In this message from the House By Design series, we look at Jesus' words in Matthew 5:9: "Blessed are the peacemakers." God's design for our homes is not surface-level peace, avoidance, or pretending everything is fine, but Spirit-empowered restoration. A peacekeeper avoids conflict to keep things comfortable, but a peacemaker faces conflict with truth, humility, forgiveness, and love. Through Christ, our homes can become places where truth is spoken in love, apologies are offered without excuses, forgiveness is released, and the peace of God is actively built.

House By Design: Behind the Scenes
2026/07/06
"Behind the scenes, God is building what matters most." This message is a call to form Christ-centered homes and lives through humility, sincere love, and committed community. Pastor Josh Wellborn reminds us that what is seen on the outside is only as strong as what God is shaping within us — our dependence on Him, our love for difficult people, and our faithfulness to the body of Christ. A house built by design is not built by pride, isolation, or surface-level faith — it is built through humble surrender, love that chooses blessing over revenge, and a commitment to keep growing together in the family of God.
House by Design: Vision for Your Home
2026/06/28
"As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." This message is a call to build courageous, Christ-centered homes with vision, surrender, and perseverance. Pastor Adam challenges us to remove the idols competing for our hearts, embrace a strong "yes" to God, and keep moving forward even when life gets hard. A house that serves the Lord is not built by accident — it is built by daily obedience, covenant, and faith that refuses to quit.
