This week on the show – things may seem quiet in the game right now, but we’re about to go on information overload as Broadsword gets ready to host a live stream for Game Update 7.4.1. If you want to play on the new Shae Vizla you have to create a brand new character and start the game from scratch. Well, that’s all about change. Broadsword is opening up transfers. And finally, If you’ve ever struggled to find all of those datacrons, lore objects, and other secrets that are hiding in the galaxy, I want to tell you about a cool map project created by SWTORISTA and a player named Zahk.

This week on the show, Game Update 7.4 – Chains in the Dark is now live. I’ll talk a little about the story, Kessen’s Landing, and the new gear grind.  Also, this week, Star Wars: The Old Republic turns 12. I’ll talk about what that means, what kind of year the game had, and where it might be headed in 2024.  And finally, this week Galactic Seasons Five is winding down. I finished it a few weeks ago, and I’ll share my thoughts on this latest season. 

This week on the show I’ll talk about the big news that Broadsword will be taking over development for Star Wars: The Old Republic and what that might mean for the game's future.  Also, this week, Game Update 7.3 is going live. It has a new story, flashpoint, economy changes, gear currencies changes, and more. 

This week on the show I talk about Galactic Seasons 3. It’s close to the end. I’ll tell you about the things I liked, things I didn’t, and whether or not you have enough time to get everything done.  Also this week, I’ll take a look at Companion Influence and Gift giving and see if there are areas of opportunity for BioWare to make it better.  And finally this week, I take a behind-the-scenes look at how the Companion System was originally designed, and the problems that it caused. 

This week on the show, Game Update 7.2 – Showdown on Ruhnuk is live.  One of its many features is the PvP revamp which introduced PvP Seasons 1 and removed Ranked PvP. I’ll share my experiences with the PvP Season and discuss what went into making that decision to remove Ranked and if it was the right thing to do.  As you know, the name of the podcast is The State of the Old Republic. I thought it would be a great time to discuss just that. 

This week on the show, Legacy of the Sith is almost here. I’ll get you caught up on what we're getting in 7.0, and a few things we’re not getting in 7.0. Just when you thought Legacy of the Sith would be free, here comes the Digital Collector’s Edition. I’ll tell you what’s in it and what it will cost you.  Also this week, our old pal Kai Zykken is sticking around for Legacy of the Sith, I’ll tell you how he’ll work in 7.0. And Finally, I’ll have another Story Project replay for you, and talk about the Republic's attempts to kick the Imps off of Balmorra.

This week on the show, Legacy of the Sith is officially delayed until February 15, 2022. Also this week, I'll talk about some important changes on how choosing Combat Styles will work for existing players in 7.0. And Speaking of Combat Styles – I’ll reveal the winners of the Opal Vulptilla giveaway and discuss your top Combat Style combinations.  And finally this week, I have some tips on how to prepare for Legacy of the Sith. 

This week on the show, BioWare held a livestream to talk about the places we’ll go and the people we’ll see in Legacy of the Sith. I talk about these exotic worlds and all of the new and returning characters we’ll meet. Also this week, I talk about the biggest decision you’ll have to make right when the expansion hits – Choosing your combat styles. And finally, you may have heard rumors or seen pictures of a shiny new Vulptilla mount. Well, it’s all true and I’ll be giving away three of them to three of you. I’ll talk about some huge quality of life changes coming in Legacy of the Sith.
