2026/04/16
Episode 101 – Ending Sexploitation Podcast
Is Discord safe for kids? No.
Haley McNamara (Executive Director and CSO) and Tim Nester (VP, Communications) talk about Discord and why it's on the 2026 Dirty Dozen List. Although the original purpose of Discord was for chat and video calls for gamers, streamers, and content creators, its features have allowed a much darker side of the platform to flourish. Tim and Haley discuss the evidence that our team found that caused us to add Discord to the DDL for the 5th time. They also talk about how we can all take action to urge Discord to make the changes it needs to get it back to its original purpose while keeping kids protected.

Expert Attorney Explains Obscenity Laws in 2026
2026/01/23
Lily Moric steps in to host the show this week, and she's joined by Expert attorney and founder of the NCOSE Law Center, Benjamin Bull. They discuss legal strategies to combat the harms of pornography. In particular, Ben explores obscenity laws and what it would look like to enforce them in 2026. Under obscenity laws, much of Internet pornography would likely not be protected under the First Amendment and could be prosecuted. Enforcement of these laws has faded, but Benjamin Bull remains hopeful that it could be a winning strategy.
Join us in advocating for these and other solutions to loosen pornography's vice grip on society!
-Ask the DOJ to enforce obscenity laws: https://advocacy.charityengine.net/Default.aspx?isid=2736
-Call for age verification legislation, which would require pornography companies to keep children off their sites: https://advocacy.charityengine.net/Default.aspx?isid=2684
-Ask your Representatives to pass the App Store Accountability Act, which would mitigate child exposure to pornography through apps: https://advocacy.charityengine.net/Default.aspx?isid=2426&aev_link=1

Is This Executive Order Dangerous For Kids?
2025/12/11
Episode 88
The U.S. government is considering an executive order that could severely limit each state's ability to protect its residents, so Haley and Dani take a closer look at why this is a serious threat to safety – especially for kids. A.I. is developing at a rapid rate, and it's essential that we don't repeat the same mistakes we made when previous technological leaps were made. At the dawn of the internet, smart phones, and social media, protection for the most vulnerable was a low priority when compared to profit and innovation. We need to speak up now before lawmakers and Big Tech create another accountability shield like Section 230.
