March Madness is winding down, and it’ll be the same Final Four as last year – Michaela and Vanessa review their brackets and make bold predictions, as the top programs prove they’re once again the top programs in the NCAA. We also introduce a new game invented by Michaela called ‘Vanessa Madness’, where Vanessa chooses final four matchups of favorite (and most hated) athletes, teams and musical artists, and tries to bust Michaela’s preconceived brackets. There’s news on a WNBA team being sold and relocating to an historic market. The WNBA expansion draft takes place this weekend to fill-out Portland and Toronto’s rosters.

It’s March Madness: Michaela and Vanessa pour over their brackets. The WNBA and its players have finally agreed on a new CBA. The 2026 season will start on time with opening night scheduled for May 8th. Michaela and Vanessa speak with Sadie Lunquist of College Hockey Inc. for an update on the Frozen Four tourney and the tremendous amount of talent coming out of the NCAA. FIFA mandates that all national teams should have at least one female head or assistant coach. The NWSL season begins with a bang: 30,000 in attendance at Gilette Stadium.

Women’s History Month is rolling right along. Oxana Masters, the most-decorated American Paralympic athlete of all-time, wins three gold medals in biathlon and skiing at Milano Cortina. Canadian flag-bearer Natalie Wilkie wins a medal of every colour in biathlon and skiing, giving her ten for her career. Do the Winter Paralympics happen too late into March? Breanna Stewart and Team Mist win the 2026 Unrivaled 3x3 Championship in controversial fashion – on a free throw. Intense negotiations over the past week still haven’t led to a new WNBA CBA, but details about the talks are emerging. NCAA Selection Sunday is upon us, next stop: March Madness! UConn enters the tournament undefeated for the 11th time in their illustrious history. Has Canada’s Women’s National Soccer Team solved their offensive woes at the SheBelieves Cup? Michaela and Vanessa aren’t convinced.

Journalist Shireen Ahmed of CBC Sports joins the show to discuss the fallout from Donald Trump’s misogynist and belittling comments regarding the US women’s hockey team at the Olympics. The PWHL is back and attendance is through the roof! First-place Montreal shuts out Minnesota 4-0 at Bell Centre in front of a rabid crowd. Madison Square Garden is sold out for the upcoming New York-Seattle game. The WNBA has given itself a hard deadline of March 10th to reach a new collective bargaining agreement or else the upcoming season will be impacted. Fractures may be starting to form within the WNBA Players’ Union as some players feel left out of the negotiating process. The Canadian National Women’s Soccer Team finally end their five-game losing streak with a win over Columbia in their opener at the SheBelieves Cup. However, Canada dropped a 1-0 decision to the U.S. in their following match. Don’t look now but Conference Championship weekend in the NCAA is upon us and March Madness is right around the corner!

Is it time to panic about the lack of a CBA agreement in the WBNA? The season could be shortened if a deal isn’t reached by March 10th. Can Canada’s National Women’s Soccer Team turn it around going into the SheBelieves Cup despite not scoring a goal in five-straight matches? ESPN will air more women’s sports on Sundays now that they’ve lost their MLB programming.
