FIRE CHALLENGE DAY 29 “Down by The Riverside” Live with Alnesha Wilson
2026/10/06
Thank you to everyone who tuned into my live video! Join me for my next live video in the app. Determined to Depart Acts 15:36 NKJV Then after some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Let us now go back and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, [and see] how they are doing.“ They went back to check on the progress of the new believers. Discipleship is checking in on other believers. Acts 15:37 NKJV Now Barnabas was determined to take with them John called Mark. John Mark was his cousin. Acts 15:38 NKJV But Paul insisted that they should not take with them the one who had departed from them in Pamphylia, and had not gone with them to the work. The enemy was stirring up division. “He hasn’t done enough.” Now they have two mission teams instead of being united. Acts 15:39 NKJV Then the contention became so sharp that they parted from one another. And so Barnabas took Mark and sailed to Cyprus; God desires for us to have a spirit of unity. How can we take the gospel while we are being contentious with one another? We are not called to build with everyone. Acts 15:40 NKJV but Paul chose Silas and departed, being commended by the brethren to the grace of God. Acts 15:41 NKJV And he went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches. Doesn’t Matter Who’s Your Daddy! Acts 16:1 NKJV Then he came to Derbe and Lystra. And behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timothy, [the] son of a certain Jewish woman who believed, but his father [was] Greek. Both of these places. He previously been they had to make him a god and stone him. Going back opened the door for Timothy. Timothy is the 1st second generation Christian. His mother Eunice and grandmother Lios became believers. 2 Tim 1:5 AMP I remember your sincere and unqualified faith [the surrendering of your entire self to God in Christ with confident trust in His power, wisdom and goodness, a faith] which first lived in [the heart of] your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am confident that it is in you as well. Faith in Christ can be modeled in the household regards of what the other parent is doing. Acts 16:2 NKJV He was well spoken of by the brethren who were at Lystra and Iconium. The other believers were speaking well of him. Acts 16:3 NKJV Paul wanted to have him go on with him. And he took [him] and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in that region, for they all knew that his father was Greek. He was circumcised to fit the culture standard even though it was not required for his witness for Christ. He was considered a half breed half Jew/ half Greek. Acts 16:4 NKJV And as they went through the cities, they delivered to them the decrees to keep, which were determined by the apostles and elders at Jerusalem. They were talking the decisions reached by the apostles and leader for the people to obey. Acts 16:5 NKJV So the churches were strengthened in the faith, and increased in number daily. With obedience: there is strength and increase. Denied Access Acts 16:6 NKJV Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. Sometimes the Holy Spirit puts divine Interruption in our plans. He sees what we can’t see. He says this is the way to walk in it. He stopped them from carrying the Word. We follow the lead on when sharing the Word. Acts 16:7 NKJV After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them. They tried to enter and the Holy Spirit said no. NIV-The Spirit of Jesus. did not permit. So Paul probably sought the Lord. I can’t go here or here. Where do you want me to go Lord? Philippians 1:19 because I know that through your prayers and the provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, my distress will turn out for my deliverance. Romans 8:14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. John 16:13 However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come. 1 Corinthians 2:12 We have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. Romans 8:9 You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. 2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. John 14:17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you do know Him, for He abides with you and will be in you. Acts 16:8 NKJV So passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. Acts 16:9 NKJV And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” Then he has the vision to go to Macedonia Acts 16:10 NKJV Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them. Now they had divine direction, and they immediately acted upon. We-this is Luke is including himself now in the text. He was a witness. God changed the direction so the gospel could be received. Acts 16:11 NKJV Therefore, sailing from Troas, we ran a straight course to Samothrace, and the next [day] came to Neapolis, Acts 16:12 NKJV and from there to Philippi, which is the foremost city of that part of Macedonia, a colony. And we were staying in that city for some days. Down by the Riverside Acts 16:13 NKJV And on the Sabbath day we went out of the city to the riverside, where prayer was customarily made; and we sat down and spoke to the women who met [there]. The woman had to gather by the river bc the authorities didn’t allow oragnaized religious meetings in the city limits. Now we breaking gender boundaries. God was opening the way. Acts 16:14 NKJV Now a certain woman named Lydia heard [us]. She was a seller of purple from the city of Thyatira, who worshiped God. The Lord opened her heart to heed the things spoken by Paul. Lydia was a seller of purple- royalty purple was expensive. She probably have some money. She was influencer. She heard and responded. She was a worshipper. God opened her to believe and it affected your household She was hospitable. Acts 16:15 NKJV And when she and her household were baptized, she begged [us], saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay.” So she persuaded us. Thank you for coming to the table. I hope that you have been fed and encouraged by today’s message. It is my prayer that you have encountered the presence of God through His Word. I would love to connect with you. Let’s digest today’s message in the comments to help encourage each other. Who has influenced your faith walk the most? FIRE Challenge Day 27 “Free from Idol and Sexual Immorality” Live with Alnesha Wilson
2026/10/05
Thank you to everyone who tuned into my live video! Join me for my next live video in the app. Acts 15:1 NKJV And certain [men] came down from Judea and taught the brethren, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.“ The men were teaching the custom of Moses, to follow the law. Colossians 2:8 NKJV Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. Colossians 2:11 NKJV In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, Colossians 2:12 NKJV buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with [Him] through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. 1 Corinthians 7:18 NKJV Was anyone called while circumcised? Let him not become uncircumcised. Was anyone called while uncircumcised? Let him not be circumcised. 1 Corinthians 7:19 NKJV Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God [is what matters]. Galatians 5:6 NKJV For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love. Acts 15:2 NKJV Therefore, when Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and dispute with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas and certain others of them should go up to Jerusalem, to the apostles and elders, about this question. Acts 15:3 NKJV So, being sent on their way by the church, they passed through Phoenicia and Samaria, describing the conversion of the Gentiles; and they caused great joy to all the brethren. Acts 15:4 NKJV And when they had come to Jerusalem, they were received by the church and the apostles and the elders; and they reported all things that God had done with them. Acts 15:5 NKJV But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying, “It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command [them] to keep the law of Moses.” Galatians 5:1 NKJV Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. Galatians 5:2 NKJV Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing. Galatians 5:3 NKJV And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law. Acts 15:6 NKJV Now the apostles and elders came together to consider this matter. Proverbs 15:22 NKJV Without counsel, plans go awry, But in the multitude of counselors they are established. Matthew 18:20 NKJV “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Acts 15:7 NKJV And when there had been much dispute, Peter rose up [and] said to them: “Men [and] brethren, you know that a good while ago God chose among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe. Romans 10:17 NKJV So then faith [comes] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:18 NKJV But I say, have they not heard? Yes indeed: “Their sound has gone out to all the earth, And their words to the ends of the world.” Acts 15:8 NKJV “So God, who knows the heart, acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as [He did] to us, 1 Samuel 16:7 NKJV But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For [the LORD does] not [see] as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” Psalm 139:1 NKJV For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. O LORD, You have searched me and known [me]. Jeremiah 17:10 NKJV I, the LORD, search the heart, [I] test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings. Jeremiah 20:12 NKJV But, O LORD of hosts, You who test the righteous, [And] see the mind and heart, Let me see Your vengeance on them; For I have pleaded my cause before You. John 2:24 NKJV But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all [men], Acts 15:9 NKJV “and made no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. Romans 3:30 NKJV since [there is] one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith. Acts 15:10 NKJV “Now therefore, why do you test God by putting a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? Acts 15:11 NKJV “But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved in the same manner as they.” Romans 3:24 NKJV being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, Romans 5:20 NKJV Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, Romans 5:21 NKJV so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 NKJV For the wages of sin [is] death, but the gift of God [is] eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Galatians 2:16 NKJV “knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified. Revelation 5:9 NKJV And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, Acts 15:12 NKJV Then all the multitude kept silent and listened to Barnabas and Paul declaring how many miracles and wonders God had worked through them among the Gentiles. Acts 15:13 NKJV And after they had become silent, James answered, saying, “Men [and] brethren, listen to me: Acts 15:14 NKJV “Simon has declared how God at the first visited the Gentiles to take out of them a people for His name. Acts 15:15 NKJV “And with this the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written: Acts 15:16 NKJV ‘After this I will return And will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down; I will rebuild its ruins, And I will set it up; Isaiah 43:21 NKJV This people I have formed for Myself; They shall declare My praise. Isaiah 55:11 NKJV So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper [in the thing] for which I sent it. 1 Peter 2:9 NKJV But you [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 1 Peter 2:10 NKJV who once [were] not a people but [are] now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. Acts 15:17 NKJV So that the rest of mankind may seek the LORD, Even all the Gentiles who are called by My name, Says the LORD who does all these things.’ Acts 15:18 NKJV “Known to God from eternity are all His works. Isaiah 46:9 NKJV Remember the former things of old, For I [am] God, and [there is] no other; [I am] God, and [there is] none like Me, Isaiah 46:10 NKJV Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times [things] that are not [yet] done, Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,’ Revelation 13:8 NKJV All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Revelation 17:8 NKJV “The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition. And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. Acts 15:19 NKJV “Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the Gentiles who are turning to God, Acts 15:20 NKJV “but that we write to them to abstain from things polluted by idols, [from] sexual immorality, [from] things strangled, and [from] blood. NO IDOLS Exodus 20:3 NKJV “You shall have no other gods before Me. Exodus 20:4 NKJV “You shall not make for yourself a carved image--any likeness [of anything] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the water under the earth; Exodus 20:5 NKJV you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth [generations] of those who hate Me, Exodus 20:23 NKJV ‘You shall not make [anything to be] with Me--gods of silver or gods of gold you shall not make for yourselves. Exodus 34:15 NKJV “lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they play the harlot with their gods and make sacrifice to their gods, and [one of them] invites you and you eat of his sacrifice, No Idols For Your Children Exodus 34:16 NKJV “and you take of his daughters for your sons, and his daughters play the harlot with their gods and make your sons play the harlot with their gods. Numbers 25:2 NKJV They invited the people to the sacrifices of their gods, and the people ate and bowed down to their gods. Psalm 106:37 NKJV They even sacrificed their sons And their daughters to demons, Psalm 106:38 NKJV And shed innocent blood, The blood of their sons and daughters, Whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; And the land was polluted with blood. Psalm 106:39 NKJV Thus they were defiled by their own works, And played the harlot by their own deeds. 1 Corinthians 8:4 NKJV Therefore concerning the eating of things offered to idols, we know that an idol [is] nothing in the world, and that [there is] no other God but one. 1 Corinthians 8:5 NKJV For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lord
FIRE CHALLENGE DAY 26 ‘Strength to Continue” Live with Alnesha Wilson
2026/10/05
Thank you to everyone who tuned into my live video! Join me for my next live video in the app. Acts 14:1 NKJV Now it happened in Iconium that they went together to the synagogue of the Jews, and so spoke that a great multitude both of the Jews and of the Greeks believed. Iconium- part of Galatia Romans 10:12 NKJV For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. Acts 14:2 NKJV But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brethren. Poison- To treat badly, afflict, embitter, make angry. From kakos; to injure; figuratively, to exasperate. 2 Corinthians 4:4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 1 John 3:13 So do not be surprised, brothers, if the world hates you. Acts 14:3 NKJV Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, who was bearing witness to the word of His grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands. Ephesians 6:19 NKJV and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, Romans 1:16 NKJV For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. God uses his people to be his hands. Acts 14:4 NKJV But the multitude of the city was divided: part sided with the Jews, and part with the apostles. Division stops growth. Truth challenges loyalty. Acts 14:5 NKJV And when a violent attempt was made by both the Gentiles and Jews, with their rulers, to abuse and stone them, Both groups wanted to abuse and stone them maybe to shake them up a lil because it was they want to kill like they did Stephen. Acts 14:6 NKJV they became aware of it and fled to Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and to the surrounding region. God will expose the plot against his servants. He woke Joseph up and said go in the night hour to protect Jesus from being murdered by Herod The Lord who said, “Nothing is hidden that will not be revealed” (Luke 8:17) Lystra Derbe about 20 miles Acts 14:7 NKJV And they were preaching the gospel there. They preached in all the areas they went to, not just where the multitudes were. Acts 14:8 NKJV And in Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother’s womb, who had never walked. The plan of God was they would flee to this town where this man would be healed. He had never walked from birth. Acts 14:9 NKJV [This] man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed, The man heard Paul. Paul observing that the man has faith. Faith has a look. Faith has a posture. Faith has a sound. Acts 14:10 NKJV said with a loud voice, “Stand up straight on your feet!” And he leaped and walked. “Then the lame will leap like a deer” (Isaiah 35:6) Acts 14:11 NKJV Now when the people saw what Paul had done, they raised their voices, saying in the Lycaonian [language], “The gods have come down to us in the likeness of men!” The people responded to the healing as the gods were in the men. They said the pagan Greek mythology was there in human form. Acts 14:12 NKJV And Barnabas they called Zeus, and Paul, Hermes, because he was the chief speaker. Acts 14:13 NKJV Then the priest of Zeus, whose temple was in front of their city, brought oxen and garlands to the gates, intending to sacrifice with the multitudes. Acts 14:14 NKJV But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard this, they tore their clothes and ran in among the multitude, crying out Barnabas and Paul have to redirect them back to the Living God. Acts 14:15 NKJV and saying, “Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men with the same nature as you, and preach to you that you should turn from these useless things to the living God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and all things that are in them, When redirecting someone it is good to ask questions instead of making accusations. We have the same nature but a call to preach. Turn from the unless things to the living God. This God made heaven, earth, sea, and every animal and human that lives in them. Repent-turn from the useless A call to repent of our idolatry anything we put before God Acts 14:16 NKJV “who in bygone generations allowed all nations to walk in their own ways. Acts 14:17 NKJV “Nevertheless He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good, gave us rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.” Acts 14:18 NKJV And with these sayings they could scarcely restrain the multitudes from sacrificing to them. They didn’t want to break up with their idols. Acts 14:19 NKJV Then Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there; and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul [and] dragged [him] out of the city, supposing him to be dead. The Jews came and persuaded the multitudes to stone Paul. Acts 14:20 NKJV However, when the disciples gathered around him, he rose up and went into the city. And the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe. Paul was stoned but kept getting up. We keep rising up and going even when it hurts. Acts 14:21 NKJV And when they had preached the gospel to that city and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch, Paul went back to the place where they kicked him out. Acts 14:22 NKJV strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting [them] to continue in the faith, and [saying], “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.” Acts 14:23 NKJV So when they had appointed elders in every church, and prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord in whom they had believed. They sought the Lord, dependent on him for the decision to appoint elders. Acts 14:24 NKJV And after they had passed through Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia. Acts 14:25 NKJV Now when they had preached the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia. The 1st Mission Was Complete Acts 14:26 NKJV From there they sailed to Antioch, where they had been commended to the grace of God for the work which they had completed. Acts 14:27 NKJV Now when they had come and gathered the church together, they reported all that God had done with them, and that He had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles. Time to Rest Acts 14:28 NKJV So they stayed there a long time with the disciples. Thank you for coming to the table. I hope that you have been fed and encouraged by today’s message. Deliverance from the Enemy FIRE Challenge Day 23 Live with Alnesha Wilson
2026/09/30
Thank you to everyone who tuned into my live video! Join me for my next live video in the app. DELIVERANCE FROM THE ENEMY AND EXPECTATION Acts 12:1-25 Acts 12:1 NKJV Now about that time Herod the king stretched out [his] hand to harass some from the church. Herod-bloodline of wickedness Herod the great murdered the boys in Bethlehem. Looking for Jesus Herod Antipas-Jesus trial and John the Baptist execution His sister asked for John This Herod killed James His son became one of Paul’s judges. Generational wickedness. What are you passing down? Acts 12:2 NKJV Then he killed James the brother of John with the sword. Acts 12:3 NKJV And because he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to seize Peter also. Now it was [during] the Days of Unleavened Bread. He was pleasing the people with killing of James so he wanted to up his score Like when Jesus was taken. Pilate pleased the people. Acts 12:4 NKJV So when he had arrested him, he put [him] in prison, and delivered [him] to four squads of soldiers to keep him, intending to bring him before the people after Passover. Herod had Peter arrested. Put in prison Deliver to four squads of soldiers to keep him until they bring him in before the people after passover Acts 12:5 NKJV Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church. Peter was in prison. Constant prayer was offered to God from him by the church. Constant prayer is earnest, fervent prayer. Prayer changes outcomes Acts 12:6 NKJV And when Herod was about to bring him out, that night Peter was sleeping, bound with two chains between two soldiers; and the guards before the door were keeping the prison. Peter was asleep and about to be brought out. He was chained between two soldiers. The guards were at the door. Peter was in bondage but GOD! Acts 12:7 NKJV Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by [him], and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, “Arise quickly!” And his chains fell off [his] hands. Behold… Angel of the Lord…..stood by him A light in the darkness He struck Peter on the side Raised him up Spoke to him “Arise quickly! The chains fell off Just like the Angel Jesus stands beside us Jesus is the light in the midst of a lost dark world Jesus still speaks Jesus still makes chains fall off. Angels are God’s messengers. Acts 12:8 NKJV Then the angel said to him, “Gird yourself and tie on your sandals”; and so he did. And he said to him, “Put on your garment and follow me.” Acts 12:9 NKJV So he went out and followed him, and did not know that what was done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision. Peter thinks he is seeing a vision like what he saw on the roof. Acts 12:10 NKJV When they were past the first and the second guard posts, they came to the iron gate that leads to the city, which opened to them of its own accord; and they went out and went down one street, and immediately the angel departed from him. They made it through guard posts The iron gate…it was fortified. Acts 12:11 NKJV And when Peter had come to himself, he said, “Now I know for certain that the Lord has sent His angel, and has delivered me from the hand of Herod and [from] all the expectation of the Jewish people.” Peter said that he was certain that The Lord sent protection and deliverance He was delivered from two things: The hand of Herod (the enemy ) The expectation of the Jewish people. Acts 12:12 NKJV So, when he had considered [this], he came to the house of Mary, the mother of John whose surname was Mark, where many were gathered together praying. Then he gets himself together and goes to Mary house and they were gathered praying. Acts 12:13 NKJV And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a girl named Rhoda came to answer. Acts 12:14 NKJV When she recognized Peter’s voice, because of [her] gladness she did not open the gate, but ran in and announced that Peter stood before the gate. She was so excited that she left Peter outside. Acts 12:15 NKJV But they said to her, “You are beside yourself!” Yet she kept insisting that it was so. So they said, “It is his angel.” Basically you are going crazy. Acts 12:16 NKJV Now Peter continued knocking; and when they opened [the door] and saw him, they were astonished. They were praying and the answer was at the door. What answer could be knocking at your door but doubt is blocking your belief to open and see? Acts 12:17 NKJV But motioning to them with his hand to keep silent, he declared to them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, “Go, tell these things to James and to the brethren.” And he departed and went to another place. Acts 12:18 NKJV Then, as soon as it was day, there was no small stir among the soldiers about what had become of Peter. Acts 12:19 NKJV But when Herod had searched for him and not found him, he examined the guards and commanded that [they] should be put to death. And he went down from Judea to Caesarea, and stayed [there]. 16 guards put to death Acts 12:20 NKJV Now Herod had been very angry with the people of Tyre and Sidon; but they came to him with one accord, and having made Blastus the king’s personal aide their friend, they asked for peace, because their country was supplied with food by the king’s [country]. Acts 12:21 NKJV So on a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat on his throne and gave an oration to them. Acts 12:22 NKJV And the people kept shouting, “The voice of a god and not of a man!” The people were putting honor on as a god. And he didnt correct the people and give God the praise. He accepted the praise. And he was immediately killed. Acts 12:23 NKJV Then immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give glory to God. And he was eaten by worms and died. Acts 10:35 NKJV “But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him. For there is no difference; Romans 3:30 NKJV since [there is] one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith. Romans 10:12 NKJV For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. Romans 10:13 NKJV For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” Galatians 3:28 NKJV There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:13 NKJV But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. Acts 10:36 NKJV “The word which [God] sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ--He is Lord of all-- Peace only comes through Jesus. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 32:17 NKJV The work of righteousness will be peace, And the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever. Acts 10:37 NKJV “that word you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee after the baptism which John preached: The word was proclaimed throughout all Judea. Acts 10:38 NKJV “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him John preached: God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and with power. Jesus did good. Jesus healed those who were oppressed by the devil. Then they killed him Acts 10:40 NKJV “Him God raised up on the third day, and showed Him openly, God raised Jesus on the third day. Revealed Him openly Acts 10:41 NKJV “not to all the people, but to witnesses chosen before by God, [even] to us who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead. Peter couldn’t even get the word out completely. But the Holy Spirit fell upon ALL who heard the word. Faith comes by hearing. Hearing the word of God. Acts 10:45 NKJV And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. The Holy Spirit has no bounds to where He can work. Ephesians 3:5 NKJV which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets: Ephesians 3:6 NKJV that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel, Ephesians 3:7 NKJV of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power. Ephesians 3:8 NKJV To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, Acts 10:46 NKJV For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God. Then Peter answered, This time they are speaking with tongues and magnifying God. to deem or declare great, i. e. to esteem highly, to extol, laud, celebrate: 2For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. Acts 10:47 NKJV “Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we [have]?” Now they had the baptism of the Holy Spirit Acts 10:48 NKJV And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. So here they go water baptized after they got baptized in the Holy Ghost 32“And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.” john 12:32 Acts 11:1 NKJV Now the apostles and brethren who were in Judea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God. Acts 11:2 NKJV And when Peter came up to Jerusalem, those of the circumcision contended with him, Acts 11:3 NKJV saying, “You went in to uncircumcised men and ate with them!” They wanted to know what is going on. The Gentiles receiving the word and peter you breaking bread. Acts 11:4 NKJV But Peter explained [it] to them in order from the beginning, saying: Acts 11:5 NKJV “I was in the city of Joppa praying; and in a trance I saw a vision, an object descending like a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came to me. Acts 11:6 NKJV “When I observed it intently and considered, I saw four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, creeping things, and birds of the air. For nothing common or unclean has at any time entered my mouth.’ Acts 11:9 NKJV “But the voice answered me again from heaven, ‘What God has cleansed you must not call common.’ Acts 11:10 NKJV “Now this was done three times, and all were drawn up again into heaven. Acts 11:11 NKJV “At that very moment, three men stood before the house where I was, having been sent to me from Caesarea. Acts 11:12 NKJV “Then the Spirit told me to go with them, doubting nothing. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered the man’s house. Acts 11:13 NKJV “And he told us how he had seen an angel standing in his house, who said to him, ‘Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon whose surname is Peter, Acts 11:14 NKJV ‘who will tell you words by which you and all your household will be saved.’ Acts 11:15 NKJV “And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, as upon us at the beginning. Acts 11:18 NKJV When they heard these things they became silent; and they glorified God, saying, “Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life.” They couldn’t speak against this testimony. They had to shut up and give Glory to God. for granting this repentance Acts 11:19 NKJV Now those who were scattered after the persecution that arose over Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to no one but the Jews only. 2026/09/28
Hey Sis, I have been battling the rapid change of seasons, and my lungs needed to heal. Here is Friday’s episode, and I will drop today’s replay later today. Join me for my next live video in the app. Acts 10:1 NKJV There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment, Cornelius was a centurion which meant he would have had over 100 soldiers. Acts 10:2 NKJV a devout [man] and one who feared God with all his household, who gave alms generously to the people, and prayed to God always. He was devout. Are you devoted to the Lord? Fear God As well as his whole household, his faith is producing fruit He was a giver. He gave to the poor. Acts 10:3 NKJV About the ninth hour of the day he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God coming in and saying to him, “Cornelius!” Around 3 pm He has a vision and clear vision of angel of God coming to Him God calls him by name. Acts 10:4 NKJV And when he observed him, he was afraid, and said, “What is it, lord?” So he said to him, “Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God. He was afraid. But obediently ask what it is lord? The angel tells him your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God. God hears our prayers and sees what our hands are doing? Are we tight lipped and tight gripped? Psalm 141:2 NKJV Let my prayer be set before You [as] incense, The lifting up of my hands [as] the evening sacrifice. Philippians 4:6 NKJV Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; Hebrews 13:16 NKJV But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. Acts 10:5 NKJV “Now send men to Joppa, and send for Simon whose surname is Peter. The angel instructed him to send for Simon Peter. Acts 10:6 NKJV “He is lodging with Simon, a tanner, whose house is by the sea. He will tell you what you must do.” Remember Simon Peter was saying with the tanner breaking the bound yesterday. Again we see that walking out each step. You do this first then you will hear what to do next. Walking by faith not by sight Acts 10:7 NKJV And when the angel who spoke to him had departed, Cornelius called two of his household servants and a devout soldier from among those who waited on him continually. He called his best godly soldiers and had to go to Joppa. Acts 10:8 NKJV So when he had explained all [these] things to them, he sent them to Joppa. Acts 10:9 NKJV The next day, as they went on their journey and drew near the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray, about the sixth hour. Its around lunchtime and Peter went up on the house to pray Acts 10:10 NKJV Then he became very hungry and wanted to eat; but while they made ready, he fell into a trance Peter’s physical body was very hungary and his food getting ready he fell into a trance The physical flesh began to want the action when you doing the spiritual work “Trance man who by some sudden emotion is transported as it were out of himself, so that in this rapt condition, although he is awake, his mind is so drawn off from all surrounding objects and wholly fixed on things divine that he sees nothing but the forms and images lying within, and thinks that he perceives with his bodily eyes and ears realities shown him by God”-Blue Letter Bible” Acts 10:11 NKJV and saw heaven opened and an object like a great sheet bound at the four corners, descending to him and let down to the earth. This sheet drops from heaven with all kinds for four footed animals Acts 10:12 NKJV In it were all kinds of four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, creeping things, and birds of the air. Acts 10:13 NKJV And a voice came to him, “Rise, Peter; kill and eat.” The Voice tells him to eat. Acts 10:14 NKJV But Peter said, “Not so, Lord! For I have never eaten anything common or unclean.” He says I cant eat that Acts 10:15 NKJV And a voice [spoke] to him again the second time, “What God has cleansed you must not call common.” Acts 10:16 NKJV This was done three times. And the object was taken up into heaven again. Three times. Sometimes God repeats the confirmations. John 21:17 NKJV He said to him the third time, “Simon, [son] of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep. Acts 10:17 NKJV Now while Peter wondered within himself what this vision which he had seen meant, behold, the men who had been sent from Cornelius had made inquiry for Simon’s house, and stood before the gate. By this time the men have arrived that were sent my Cornelius Acts 10:18 NKJV And they called and asked whether Simon, whose surname was Peter, was lodging there. Acts 10:19 NKJV While Peter thought about the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Behold, three men are seeking you. Here we see the Holy Spirit said…. Holy Spirit speaks Acts 10:20 NKJV “Arise therefore, go down and go with them, doubting nothing; for I have sent them.” The Spirit gives instructions, and comforts any fears Go with them. Now Cornelius was waiting for them, and had called together his relatives and close friends. Cornelius has this gathering of family and friends awaiting them. Acts 10:25 NKJV As Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him and fell down at his feet and worshiped [him]. Cornelis falls to worship Peter and Peter lets him know I am not God Acts 10:26 NKJV But Peter lifted him up, saying, “Stand up; I myself am also a man.” Get up I am just a man like you. Acts 10:27 NKJV And as he talked with him, he went in and found many who had come together. Acts 10:28 NKJV Then he said to them, “You know how unlawful it is for a Jewish man to keep company with or go to one of another nation. But God has shown me that I should not call any man common or unclean. God continues to make what was unlawful in culture lawful in Kingdom. God showed peter no longer call any man common or uncle Acts 10:29 NKJV “Therefore I came without objection as soon as I was sent for. I ask, then, for what reason have you sent for me?” God led the way. There was no objection when its God speaking. But why have you sent for me. Cornelius I was fasting and praying and a man appear in bright clothing. Acts 10:31 NKJV “and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your alms are remembered in the sight of God. Fasting and praying gets God’s attention. Giving gets his attention. What we do for God is noticed by God. Don’t let your right hand know what the left hand is doing When you fast: Matthew 6:16 NKJV “Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. Matthew 6:17 NKJV “But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, Isaiah 38:5 NKJV “Go and tell Hezekiah, ‘Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will add to your days fifteen years. Before he even came near Damascus, God does a Suddenly! A light from heaven God can shift things suddenly for his purposes. Acts 9:4 NKJV Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” He was knocked down to the ground Hears the voice of the Lord Jesus Calls his name twice, like yea I am talking to you. Acts 9:5 NKJV And he said, “Who are You, Lord?” Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It [is] hard for you to kick against the goads.” Jesus lets him to know while you are binding my people, you are persecuting me. Acts 9:6 NKJV So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?” Then the Lord [said] to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.“ Now he is scared. Holy fear. So he has to response: What do you want me to do This is a great prayer point. Lord what do you want me to do The Lord like Philip from yesterday said Arise and go then you will receive further instruction. One step at a time. Walk by faith and not by sight. Acts 9:7 NKJV And the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice but seeing no one. His crew was speechless. They heard the voice of the Lord. No human form. Maybe they had their own damascus road. Acts 9:8 NKJV Then Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened he saw no one. But they led him by the hand and brought [him] into Damascus. He made it to Damascus, by the hands of others. Not how his plan started out. The Lord’s plan is higher than ours. Acts 9:9 NKJV And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank. Saul is no blind and fasting and praying for three days. Acts 9:10 NKJV Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias; and to him the Lord said in a vision, “Ananias.” And he said, “Here I am, Lord.” Certain -God had who he wanted. Ananis responded like Isaiah “Here I am Lord” Acts 9:11 NKJV So the Lord [said] to him, “Arise and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for [one] called Saul of Tarsus, for behold, he is praying. We see the call of the Lord again just like yesterday “Arise and Go” Saul was praying and the Lord was getting ready to answer him God can redeem anyone Job 33:28 NKJV He will redeem his soul from going down to the Pit, And his life shall see the light. God can heal and restore anyone and the people they have hurt Isaiah 57:18 NKJV I have seen his ways, and will heal him; I will also lead him, And restore comforts to him And to his mourners. Acts 9:12 NKJV “And in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias coming in and putting [his] hand on him, so that he might receive his sight.” Saul has seen in a vision that Ananais was coming and was going to lay hands on him and his sight was going to be restored. Acts 9:13 NKJV Then Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much harm he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem. Ananais was afraid bc he knew that Saul had a reputation for hurting God’s people Acts 9:14 NKJV “And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on Your name.” He is reminding God of the the power give to Saul Acts 9:15 NKJV But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel. BUT the LORD Said “GO I have chosen this vessel to bear My name. Romans 1:1 NKJV Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called [to be] an apostle, separated to the gospel of God Acts 9:16 NKJV “For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name’s sake.” Acts 9:17 NKJV And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” Ananais went and obeyed and laid hands on Saul He received spirit eyesight and physical eyesight Acts 9:18 NKJV Immediately there fell from his eyes [something] like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was baptized. Lepis -to peel Immediately Scales were off The Lord peeled back the scaly flake layer of pride and wickedness 2 Corinthians 3:14 NKJV But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the [veil] is taken away in Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6 NKJV For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to [give] the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Acts 9:19 NKJV So when he had received food, he was strengthened. Then Saul spent some days with the disciples at Damascus. He need physical strength for the mission to come. The people he initially was going to bind. He is now spending time with. Thank you for coming to the table. I hope that you have been fed and encouraged by today’s message. FIRE Challenge Day 16 “Arise and GO” Live with Alnesha Wilson
2026/09/23
Sorry for the delay! Today has been a day! I’m congested and trying to keep my life together. Thank you to everyone who tuned into my live video! Join me for my next live video in the app. Acts 8:26 NKJV Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, “Arise and go toward the south along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is desert. Philip is told to arise and go to a desert. Philip has to leave his mission field to detour to a mission God was sending him on. Samaia to Jerusalem to Gaza 100 miles. Philip was going the extra mile Acts 8:27 NKJV So he arose and went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under Candace the queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all her treasury, and had come to Jerusalem to worship, In his obedience he got up and left. There was someone waiting to grow in the Lord on the other side of his obedience. This man of influence traveled to Jerusalem for Worship How far are you willing to go to worship God? He really wanted to go receive the word of the Lord. Isaiah 56:3 NLT “Don’t let foreigners who commit themselves to the LORD say, ‘The LORD will never let me be part of his people.’ And don’t let the eunuchs say, ‘I’m a dried-up tree with no children and no future.’ Isaiah 56:4 NLT For this is what the LORD says: I will bless those eunuchs who keep my Sabbath days holy and who choose to do what pleases me and commit their lives to me. Isaiah 56:5 NLT I will give them--within the walls of my house--a memorial and a name far greater than sons and daughters could give. For the name I give them is an everlasting one. It will never disappear! Imagine the impact of the gospel when he returned back to his position of authority. Acts 8:28 NKJV was returning. And sitting in his chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet. He would have had to purchase a scroll. Acts 8:29 NKJV Then the Spirit said to Philip, “Go near and overtake this chariot.” The Holy Spirit spoke. He still spoke to us. John 16:13 NKJV “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own [authority], but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. Are we listening? Acts 8:30 NKJV So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?” He was reading out loud and Philip asked him do you understand what you’re reading? Luke 24:32 NKJV And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” Luke 24:45 NKJV And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures. Acts 8:31 NKJV And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?“ And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him. He sought out the guidance of Philip. He asked for help. If you dont understand something ask for help from another believer who is further along than you We must be willing to have someone sit with us to learn from our table if we know how to explain the Scriptures. Romans 10:15 NKJV And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!” Acts 8:32 NKJV The place in the Scripture which he read was this: “He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; And as a lamb before its shearer is silent, So He opened not His mouth. Jesus was led to the slaughter in silence. Acts 8:33 NKJV In His humiliation His justice was taken away, And who will declare His generation? For His life is taken from the earth.” He was humiliated for our sins Justice removed. His life taken to our life Philippians 2:8 NKJV And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to [the point of] death, even the death of the cross. Philippians 2:9 NKJV Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, Acts 8:34 NKJV So the eunuch answered Philip and said, “I ask you, of whom does the prophet say this, of himself or of some other man?” He asked was this Isaiah talking about himself or someone else Isaiah was prophesying about Jesus. Acts 8:35 NKJV Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him. Philip used the text that he was already in as a starting point to preach Jesus to the Enuch Philip started where he was. We have to meet people where they are. Acts 8:36 NKJV Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See, [here is] water. What hinders me from being baptized?” They found water in the desert The eunuch was ready to be obedient. He didn’t let anything hinder his obedience. What is hindering your obedience to Christ? Acts 8:37 NKJV Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.“ And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.” Philip is letting him know that belief is before baptism. Encuh confessed his faith Acts 8:38 NKJV So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him. Baptism is your wedding ceremony to show the world im in covenant with God. You are presence of many witnesses. Sometimes I think of it as the funeral of yourself. You died buried with christ rose to walk into newness of life. Acts 8:39 NKJV Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing. Supernatural About 60 miles God took Enoch Hebrews 11:5 NLT It was by faith that Enoch was taken up to heaven without dying--”he disappeared, because God took him.” For before he was taken up, he was known as a person who pleased God. Elijah in a whirlwind 2 Kings 2:1 NLT When the LORD was about to take Elijah up to heaven in a whirlwind, Elijah and Elisha were traveling from Gilgal. Acts 8:40 NKJV But Philip was found at Azotus. And passing through, he preached in all the cities till he came to Caesarea. Azotus to Casarea 53 miles of preaching Thank you for coming to the table. I hope that you have been fed and encouraged by today’s message. It is my prayer that you have encountered the presence of God through His Word. I would love to connect with you. Let’s digest today’s message in the comments to help encourage each other. What’s your baptism story? When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours. Romans 1:12 NLT Let Us Pray! Cover the Lost. Let Us Praise! Let Us Invite! FIRE Challenge Day 15 "Saul, Samaria &Sorcery "Live with Alnesha Wilson
2026/09/21
Thank you to everyone who tuned into my live video! Join me for my next live video in the app. SAUL, SAMARIA, AND SORCERY Acts 8:1-25 Acts 8:1 NKJV Now Saul was consenting to his death. At that time a great persecution arose against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles. * Saul had consented to the death of Stephen. * Now persecution is great and rising against the church in Jerusalem * They were scattered in Judea and Samaria Acts 8:2 NKJV And devout men carried Stephen [to his burial], and made great lamentation over him. * Devout men made sure Stephen had a proper burial and lamented over him. * They were grieving, while being persecuted. There is a shift taking place. * They were going from seeing miracles to martyrs. Acts 8:3 NKJV As for Saul, he made havoc of the church, entering every house, and dragging off men and women, committing [them] to prison. * Saul is tearing the church up at this point. * He is running up in everyone’s house. * He didn’t care if you were a man or a woman you were going to prison for being a believer. * 1 Corinthians 15:9 NKJV For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. * Galatians 1:13 NKJV For you have heard of my former conduct in Judaism, how I persecuted the church of God beyond measure and [tried to] destroy it. * 1 Timothy 1:13 NKJV although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did [it] ignorantly in unbelief. Acts 8:4 NKJV Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word. * Therefore as a result of this the scattered ones went preaching the word. * If Paul was going in every house persecuting, they were going everywhere preaching. * Matthew 10:23 NKJV “When they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For assuredly, I say to you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes. Acts 8:5 NKJV Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. * Philip takes the gospel to Samaria fulfilling the Scripture. * Acts 1:8 NKJV “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” * Matthew 10:5 NKJV These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. Acts 8:6 NKJV And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. * The multitudes were unified and listening to what Philip was saying. * They heard the Word and saw the miracles. Acts 8:7 NKJV For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. * Matthew 10:1 NKJV And when He had called His twelve disciples to [Him], * He gave them power [over] unclean spirits, * to cast them out, and * to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. * Mark 9:26 NKJV Then [the spirit] cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he became as one dead, so that many said, “He is dead.” * Mark 16:17 NKJV “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; * Mark 16:18 NKJV “they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” * Luke 10:17 NKJV Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” * John 14:12 NKJV “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater [works] than these he will do, because I go to My Father. Acts 8:8 NKJV And there was great joy in that city. * There was great joy because there was truth * There was great joy because there was healing * There was great joy because there was deliverance * Psalm 98:3 NKJV He has remembered His mercy and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. * Psalm 98:4 NKJV Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth; Break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises. * Isaiah 35:1 NKJV The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose; * Isaiah 35:2 NKJV It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, Even with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, The excellence of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the LORD, The excellency of our God. * Luke 2:10 NKJV Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. Acts 8:9 NKJV But there was a certain man called Simon, who previously practiced sorcery in the city and astonished the people of Samaria, claiming that he was someone great, * Simon had previously practiced. * He had the people astonished claiming to be someone great. * He had the people bewitched. * Bewitched : to throw out of position, displace, to amaze, to astonish, throw into wonderment, to be amazed, astounded, to be out of one’s mind, besides one’s self, insane * Exodus 7:11 NKJV But Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers; so the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. * Leviticus 20:6 NKJV ‘And the person who turns to mediums and familiar spirits, to prostitute himself with them, I will set My face against that person and cut him off from his people. * Deuteronomy 18:10 NKJV “There shall not be found among you [anyone] who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, [or one] who practices witchcraft, [or] a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, * Deuteronomy 18:11 NKJV “or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. * Deuteronomy 18:12 NKJV”For all who do these things [are] an abomination to the LORD, and because of these abominations the LORD your God drives them out from before you. The Beast from the Earth will astonish people . * Revelation 13:13 NKJV He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. * Revelation 13:14 NKJV And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. * Revelation 22:15 NKJV But outside [are] dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. Acts 8:10 NKJV to whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, “This man is the great power of God.” * They attributed his power to God * Don’t be tricked by “power” * Test every spirit * Ephesians 4:14 NKJV that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, * 2 Peter 2:2 NKJV And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. The World will Marvel and follow. Revelation 13:3 NKJV And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. From the least to greatest can be forgiven. Jeremiah 31:34 NKJV “No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” The only Power is CHRIST 1 Corinthians 1:24 NKJV but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. Acts 8:11 NKJV And they heeded him because he had astonished them with his sorceries for a long time. * They listened to him because they were astonished with the sorcery. * Isaiah 8:19 NKJV And when they say to you, “Seek those who are mediums and wizards, who whisper and mutter,” should not a people seek their God? [Should they seek] the dead on behalf of the living? * Galatians 3:1 NKJV O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified? Acts 8:12 NKJV But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized. * But, now there is a transition. * They were bewitched now they were getting baptized. * Philip preaches the Kingdom of God and the name and people are baptized. Acts 8:13 NKJV Then Simon himself also believed; and when he was baptized he continued with Philip, and was amazed, seeing the miracles and signs which were done. * Philip has now led the people that were originally astonished with Simon’s sorcery to Christ. * So now Simon believes and gets baptized * And he stays around with Philip watching him to these signs and wonders. * Simon was marveled at the work more than the Word. Acts 8:14 NKJV Now when the apostles who were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them, Peter and John are sent to Samaria to pray for the new believers to receive the Holy Spirit. Acts 8:15 NKJV who, when they had come down, prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit. Acts 8:16 NKJV For as yet He had fallen upon none of them. They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. * Here we have more biblical proof that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a separate experience. * They had responded to the gospel when Philip preached. * They had been baptized with water * Now they need to be baptize
FIRE CHALLENGE DAY 13 "GOD'S RESUME" Live with Alnesha Wilson
2026/09/19
Thank you to everyone who tuned into my live video! Join me for my next live video in the app. Acts 7:1 NKJV Then the high priest said, “Are these things so?“ God of Glory Acts 7:2 NKJV And he(Stephen) said, “Brethren and fathers, listen: The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Haran, Abraham saw the glory of God before he saw the promise. Waymaker Acts 7:3 NKJV “and said to him, ‘Get out of your country and from your relatives, and come to a land that I will show you.’ Abraham had to leave what he was familiar. He had to walk into the unknown in order to receive where God was taking him. Acts 7:4 NKJV “Then he came out of the land of the Chaldeans and dwelt in Haran. And from there, when his father was dead, He moved him to this land in which you now dwell. Once Abraham’s father was dead, God moved him to the land where he dwelt. Terah was an idol maker. He had to detach himself from the idolatry to be able to go where God was taking him. Where do you need to leave the familiar to go where God is taking you? Acts 7:5 NKJV “And [God] gave him no inheritance in it, not even [enough] to set his foot on. But even when [Abraham] had no child, He promised to give it to him for a possession, and to his descendants after him. Acts 7:6 NKJV “But God spoke in this way: that his descendants would dwell in a foreign land, and that they would bring them into bondage and oppress [them] four hundred years. God knew that they would be in bondage and oppressed for 400 years. Bondage Breaker Acts 7:7 NKJV ‘And the nation to whom they will be in bondage I will judge,’ said God, ‘and after that they shall come out and serve Me in this place.’ God will judge the nation that bond them. After the bondage, they would serve God in the place we he told them. Promise Keeper Acts 7:17 NKJV “But when the time of the promise drew near which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt Acts 7:18 NKJV “till another king arose who did not know Joseph. Acts 7:19 NKJV “This man dealt treacherously with our people, and oppressed our forefathers, making them expose their babies, so that they might not live. Acts 7:20 NKJV “At this time Moses was born, and was well pleasing to God; and he was brought up in his father’s house for three months. Acts 7:25 NKJV “For he supposed that his brethren would have understood that God would deliver them by his hand, but they did not understand. Reconcile Acts 7:26 NKJV “And the next day he appeared to [two of] them as they were fighting, and [tried to] reconcile them, saying, ‘Men, you are brethren; why do you wrong one another?’ Acts 7:27 NKJV “But he who did his neighbor wrong pushed him away, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge over us? Acts 7:28 NKJV ‘Do you want to kill me as you did the Egyptian yesterday?’ Acts 7:29 NKJV “Then, at this saying, Moses fled and became a dweller in the land of Midian, where he had two sons. Consuming Fire Acts 7:30 NKJV “And when forty years had passed, an Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire in a bush, in the wilderness of Mount Sinai. Moses was 80 when God called him. You still have time to do the work God has called to do. Fire displayed his presence . Exodus 24:17 NKJV The sight of the glory of the LORD [was] like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel. Deuteronomy 4:24 NKJV “For the LORD your God [is] a consuming fire, a jealous God. Deuteronomy 9:3 NKJV “Therefore understand today that the LORD your God [is] He who goes over before you [as] a consuming fire. He will destroy them and bring them down before you; so you shall drive them out and destroy them quickly, as the LORD has said to you. Hebrews 12:29 NKJV For our God [is] a consuming fire. Acts 7:33 NKJV ‘Then the LORD said to him, “Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground. We can’t just approach a Holy God without reverence. Jesus gave us access to Him. We are to still revere Him Psalm 24:3-4 Who may ascend the hill of the LORD? Who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear deceitfully. El Roi Acts 7:34 NKJV “I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt; I have heard their groaning and have come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send you to Egypt.” ‘ Ruler and Judge Acts 7:35 NKJV “This Moses whom they rejected, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge?‘ is the one God sent [to be] a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the Angel who appeared to him in the bush. The God of Signs and Wonders Acts 7:36 NKJV “He brought them out, after he had shown wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red Sea, and in the wilderness forty years. Acts 7:37 NKJV “This is that Moses who said to the children of Israel, ‘The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear.’ Jesus become the prophet. John 6:14 When the people saw the sign that Jesus had performed, they began to say, “Truly this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.” Acts 7:38 NKJV “This is he who was in the congregation in the wilderness with the Angel who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and [with] our fathers, the one who received the living oracles to give to us, Acts 7:39 NKJV “whom our fathers would not obey, but rejected. And in their hearts they turned back to Egypt, Acts 7:40 NKJV “saying to Aaron, ‘Make us gods to go before us; [as for] this Moses who brought us out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.’ Acts 7:41 NKJV “And they made a calf in those days, offered sacrifices to the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands. Acts 7:42 NKJV “Then God turned and gave them up to worship the host of heaven, as it is written in the book of the Prophets: ‘Did you offer Me slaughtered animals and sacrifices [during] forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel? Romans 1:24-26 4Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. 26For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. Just Acts 7:43 NKJV You also took up the tabernacle of Moloch, And the star of your god Remphan, Images which you made to worship; And I will carry you away beyond Babylon.’ Acts 7:44 NKJV “Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as He appointed, instructing Moses to make it according to the pattern that he had seen, Acts 7:45 NKJV “which our fathers, having received it in turn, also brought with Joshua into the land possessed by the Gentiles, whom God drove out before the face of our fathers until the days of David, Acts 7:46 NKJV “who found favor before God and asked to find a dwelling for the God of Jacob. Acts 7:47 NKJV “But Solomon built Him a house. Most High Acts 7:48 NKJV “However, the Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says: Acts 7:49 NKJV ‘Heaven [is] My throne, And earth [is] My footstool. What house will you build for Me? says the LORD, Or what [is] the place of My rest? Maker of ALL things Acts 7:50 NKJV Has My hand not made all these things?’ Acts 7:51 NKJV “[You] stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers [did], so [do] you. Acts 7:52 NKJV “Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who foretold the coming of the Just One, of whom you now have become the betrayers and murderers, Acts 7:53 NKJV “who have received the law by the directio

With growth, there would be conflict, order will be needed. Complaint from the Hellenist(Greek culture) vs Hebrews(Jewish) The Greek speaking Jews vs the Native Jews. Both sets of people are believers Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. They were complaining because the widows were neglected in daily distribution. Remember they had the distribution for those who were in need This Old Testament… spirit of complaining was starting to arise as the numbers rise. With multiplication, the disunity would become a threat. Satan went from intimidation(prison) to causing division. Commission Acts 6:2 NKJV Then the twelve summoned the multitude of the disciples and said, “It is not desirable that we should leave the word of God and serve tables. With multiplication, there would need to be order. So the apostles were going to have delegate . So the Twelve called a meeting of all the believers. They said, “We apostles should spend our time teaching the word of God, not running a food program. NLT The twelve disciples told the multitude yall are capable of serving. We can’t leave the word of God. It was their mission to preach the word. 2 Timothy 4:2 NKJV Preach the word! Be ready in season [and] out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 1 Timothy 4:13 Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, and to teaching. Acts 6:3 NKJV “Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of [good] reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business; Seek out 7(completion) men: * Good reputation * Full of the Holy Spirit * Wise God never meant for us to carry anything alone. Not in our faith, family or friendship. Elevate what you are carrying and look for ways to delegate. Moses had to get delegation. Exodus 18:17-26 But Moses’ father-in-law said to him, “What you are doing is not good. / Surely you and these people with you will wear yourselves out, because the task is too heavy for you. You cannot handle it alone. Numbers 11:14-17 I cannot carry all these people by myself; it is too burdensome for me. This also why we have gifts in the church. 1 Corinthians 12:28 And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, and those with gifts of healing, helping, administration, and various tongues. Continue Acts 6:4 NKJV “but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.“ Their mission remained to continue in prayer and minister the word Colossians 4:2 NKJV Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; Prayer is the pre-requisite of the ministry of the word. From the beginning, they are in prayer. They couldn’t do their ministry effectively if they were feeding the folk, praying and teaching. There had to be something off their plate. They were called to spiritually feed the people. Acts 6:5 NKJV And the saying pleased the whole multitude. And they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit, and Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas, a proselyte from Antioch, Everyone was pleased with them saying that. We see unity again. They could make a decison together. Stephen was noted in the Scripture to be a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit Acts 6:6 NKJV whom they set before the apostles; and when they had prayed, they laid hands on them. They had the the blessing and covering of the apostles. The apostles took all the matters to the Lord in prayer. Jesus prayed before picking the disciples. Luke 6:12-13 In those days Jesus went out to the mountain to pray, and He spent the night in prayer to God. When daylight came, He called His disciples to Him and chose twelve of them, whom He also designated as apostles: Acts 6:7 NKJV Then the word of God spread, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were obedient to the faith. They go back to the mission field and it takes off. The Word spreads. Disciples multiplied greatly. Priests were obedient to the faith. Getting saved 2 Thessalonians 3:1 Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread quickly and be held in honor, just as it was with you. Acts 6:8 NKJV And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and signs among the people. Stephen full of faith. This is the second time, this is noted. He had the Holy Spirit and now this verse, he has power. Stephen means crown. 1st public minister of the Word after the apostles. He did wonders and sign among the people. Council Acts 6:9 NKJV Then there arose some from what is called the Synagogue of the Freedmen (Cyrenians, Alexandrians, and those from Cilicia and Asia), disputing with Stephen. These people were from every region The warfare is spiritual; it just shows up in people. Acts 6:10 NKJV And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke. When you have the wisdom of the Word and the Holy Spirit, it is hard for any opposition to come up against you. Luke 21:15 NKJV “for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist. Isaiah 54:17 NKJV No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue [which] rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This [is] the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness [is] from Me,” Says the LORD. Matthew 10:20 NKJV “for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you. Acts 6:11 NKJV Then they secretly induced men to say, “We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses and God.” Secret induced men, these men had to be workers of iniquity if you can be induced to speak a lie. Proverbs 6:19 NKJV A false witness [who] speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren. Acts 6:12 NKJV And they stirred up the people, the elders, and the scribes; and they came upon [him], seized him, and brought [him] to the council. They have stirred up the people, and the council. They seized Stephen and bought him into the council. Same strategy against Jesus when he was before Pointus Pilate. Acts 6:13 NKJV They also set up false witnesses who said, “This man does not cease to speak blasphemous words against this holy place and the law; They were accusing him speaking blasphemy non stop against the holy place and the law Acts 6:14 NKJV “for we have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place and change the customs which Moses delivered to us.” We heard him say… Acts 6:15 NKJV And all who sat in the council, looking steadfastly at him, saw his face as the face of an angel. Those who were in the council, was staring at him because his face was like an angel. Exodus 34:29 NKJV Now it was so, when Moses came down from Mount Sinai (and the two tablets of the Testimony [were] in Moses’ hand when he came down from the mountain), that Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone while he talked with Him. *my notes are very raw, see transcipt for more. And they were all with one accord in Solomon’s Porch. The are doing many sign and wonder in front the people They are still in this unity Solomon’s Porch was the place to be. Acts 5:13 NKJV Yet none of the rest dared join them, but the people esteemed them highly. But none of the rest [of the people, the non-believers] dared to associate with them; however, the people were holding them in high esteem and were speaking highly of them. You know how people are like. I can respect your faith and your relationship with God but I don’t want to join with what you got going on . Even though they have witnessed lame walk, and a couple fall dead they still wasn’t convinced Acts 5:14 NKJV[7l believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, While the unbelievers were looking with high esteem. God was bringing multitudes of men and women. The gospel is universal. All faces, races, age and both male and female. Added to the lord-not membership of a church Acts 5:15 NKJV so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid [them] on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them. They (the believers) were bringing the sick folk out in the streets all laid out waiting for people to walk by so that could catch the shadow of Peter. They wasn’t on Solomon’s porch they were in the streets This faith and expectation touching the outsiders They bought the sick friends and family It wasn’t the shadow of Peter it was the shadow of the Almighty God Psalm 91:1 NKJV He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Acts 5:16 NKJV Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed. This is a different multitude from other areas coming to Jerusalem with expectancy to be healed. Bringing sick folks. Vexed and tormented, possessed people with unclean spirits -demons They were ALL HEALED That means the demons were cast out and the sick were made well. Matthew 8:16 NKJV When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, Matthew 8:17 NKJV that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities And bore [our] sicknesses.” Luke 9:1 NKJV Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. Ephesians 6:12 NKJV For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual [hosts] of wickedness in the heavenly [places]. Acts 5:17 NKJV Then the high priest rose up, and all those who [were] with him (which is the sect of the Sadducees), and they were filled with indignation, They are Jealous Acts 5:18 NKJV and laid their hands on the apostles and put them in the common prison. Acts 5:19 NKJV But at night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said, You can’t lock down what God has opened up. The angel opened the prison doors Brought them out and then instructed them to speak LIFE Acts 5:20 NKJV “Go, stand in the temple and speak to the people all the words of this life.” John 6:35 NKJV And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. John 11:25 NKJV Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. John 14:6 NKJV Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. There are no bondage every chain is broken Where the spirit of the Lord is freedom Acts 5:21 NKJV And when they heard [that], they entered the temple early in the morning and taught. But the high priest and those with him came and called the council together, with all the elders of the children of Israel, and sent them to the prison to have them brought. Hearing the angel and being released they know have the confidence to continue Bright and early. But here come the high priest and his council with elders who sent to check on them in prison. Acts 5:22 NKJV But when the officers came and did not find them in the prison, they returned and reported, They get the realization they are not here. And the door was still lock Everything and everyone is in position except them. Acts 5:23 NKJV saying, “Indeed we found the prison shut securely, and the guards standing outside before the doors; but when we opened them, we found no one inside!” Acts 5:24 NKJV Now when the high priest, the captain of the temple, and the chief priests heard these things, they wondered what the outcome would be. They have to reconsider what is really going to be the outcome. Acts 5:25 NKJV So one came and told them, saying, “Look, the men whom you put in prison are standing in the temple and teaching the people!” The men you are looking for are still doing what you told them not to do. Acts 5:26 NKJV Then the captain went with the officers and brought them without violence, for they feared the people, lest they should be stoned. They started out with no violence. They fear the people not the God that just released the ones you locked up. Acts 5:27 NKJV And when they had brought them, they set [them] before the council. And the high priest asked them, They are bought back in for intimidation. There authority was slipping. Acts 5:28 NKJV saying, “Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this name? And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this Man’s blood on us!” We told yall to stop. Now the area is being filled with the doctrine of Christ that means its working its filling the people And you blaming us for his death. Acts 5:29 NKJV But Peter and the [other] apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men. Peter again is letting them know. I answer to God not yall. God told us to preach his word You told me to not preach his word I have to go with God Acts 5:30 NKJV “The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree. Peter again is accusing them of murder The took the curse of our transgression on the tree We nailed him to the cross Acts 5:31 NKJV “Him God has exalted to His right hand [to be] Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. We see that God exalted Jesus to his right hand Resurrection Jesus is the Prince and Savior He offers repentance and forgives for our salvation Acts 5:32 NKJV “And we are His witnesses to these things, and [so] also [is] the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.” They witnessed all the things The Holy is given to the obedient Acts 5:33 NKJV When they heard [this], they were furious and plotted to kill them. Okay so now yall have to be shut up permanently Acts 5:34 NKJV Then one in the council stood up, a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law held in respect by all the people, and commanded them to put the apostles outside for a little while. Everyone respected this man and he told the council to get off them apostles bc you dont even now what is going on. Acts 5:35 NKJV And he said to them: “Men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what you intend to do regarding these men. Job 42:2 “I know that You can do all things and that no plan of Yours can be thwarted. Then he gives two examples of men who had following but after they died the following died with them This was different Jesus died and ascended and the growth was going crazy Acts 5:36 NKJV “For some time ago Theudas rose up, claiming to be somebody. A number of men, about four hundred, joined him. He was slain, and all who obeyed him were scattered and came to nothing. Acts 5:37 NKJV “After this man, Judas of Galilee rose up in the days of the census, and drew away many people after him. He also perished, and all who obeyed him were dispersed. Acts 5:38 NKJV “And now I say to you, keep away from these men and let them alone; for if this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing; Acts 5:39 NKJV “but if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it--lest you even be found to fight against God.” You fight the wrong enemy if you find out this is God. When it’s God you can’t win this one. God will scatter his enemies. Psalm 68:1 NKJV To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. A Song. Let God arise, Let His enemies be scattered; Let those also who hate Him flee before Him. If God is for them, nothing can stop the plans of God. Not even a prison door can bind the plan of God. Romans 8:31 What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Psalm 33:10-11 The LORD frustrates the plans of the nations; He thwarts the devices of the peoples. / The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the purposes of His heart to all generations. Acts 5:40 NKJV And they agreed with him, and when they had called for the apostles and beaten [them], they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. They agree to the let them go but first lets beat the skin off you. Matthew 10:17 But beware of men, for they will hand you over to their councils and flog you in their synagogues. Commanded them again about not speaking in the name of Jesus Acts 5:41 NKJV So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name. 1 Peter 4:14 If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on
