2026/09/06
As we conclude our journey through the book of Hosea, we discover the heart of God toward His people: He desires to restore us. No matter how far we have fallen, God's grace calls us to recognize our ruin, embrace His mercy, return to Him wholeheartedly, and experience new life. Join us as we explore how true repentance leads to healing, restoration, and a faith that flourishes in Jesus Christ.

We want to thank you for tuning in today! We Pray God's word would challenge and encourage you as you learn to seek him and that you may see our Great savior more clearly, possibly even see him for the first time!
Our offices are always open and you may call the church at any time, reaching us at 814-745-2897. We are also available right here on facebook messenger and we look forward to helping you move towards Jesus.
Our service times are Sundays at 9:30am for in person services and 10:00am for online services. We also have a midweek prayer meeting and bible study held Wednesdays at 7:00pm, we are currently studying the book of John.
We are a non-denominational Christian church devoted to the Glory of God. Our mission is to “Make disciples who make disciples.” Working from the commands of Christ found in the book of Matthew [Mat 28:19-20 ESV] 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
What you can expect when you walk in the door is an extremely familial atmosphere, possibly to a fault. We love one another and love everyone who walks in the door. If you can make it to your seat without someone touching you, shaking your hand, giving you a hug and expressing their Joy at your presence you must be invisible. We believe that nobody belongs here more than you.
Our theology and doctrine are very important to us. Our theology would closely mirror the baptist traditions however we do differ in some minor ways, most notably in a healthy relationship with the Holy Spirit. Seeking above all to be as biblically serious, socially active and spiritually alive as we can.
We pray that you will come see us in person soon, until then enjoy the service and feel free to follow the page and continue to join us week after week.
Hosea Part 13 - What you Wrestle you cling to.
2026/08/23
What are you wrestling with? In Hosea 12, God points Israel back to Jacob’s encounter with Him—a night of physical struggle that became a moment of spiritual transformation. Jacob walked away wounded, but he also walked away changed, blessed, and clinging to God. Israel, however, had begun clinging to everything except God, pursuing what Hosea calls “the wind”—things that promise life but ultimately leave us empty.
We all wrestle with something. Money, comfort, fear, approval, control, past hurts, or the circumstances we cannot seem to escape. But what we wrestle with is often what we ultimately cling to. This message challenges us to stop chasing what cannot satisfy and instead bring our struggles to Jesus, allowing Him to transform us and teach us to depend on His provision.
Most importantly, the story points us to the relentless love of God. Even when we wander, God continues to pursue us. The cross is the ultimate proof that He has not abandoned us. The question is simple: What are you clinging to—and are you willing to let go and cling to Jesus instead?

Hosea part 12 - Judgment vs Consequences
2026/08/16
Consequences are not the same as God’s judgment. Consequences are the natural results of our choices, and God can use them to teach us, mature us, and turn our hearts back toward Him. Judgment, however, is God’s final and complete response to sin. In Hosea 11, Israel was experiencing the consequences of repeatedly turning away from God, yet God was still showing mercy and calling them back. His purpose was restoration, not destruction. The consequences were meant to turn them before judgment came. This is an important distinction: when something difficult happens in our lives, it does not automatically mean God is judging us. Sometimes He is allowing us to experience the results of our choices so that we will recognize our need for Him, turn from our sin, and receive His mercy.

Hosea part 11 - Sowing and Reaping
2026/08/09
The Trap of Prosperity: Planting for a Harvest
In Hosea 10, God warns Israel that prosperity without a pursuit of Him ultimately leads to emptiness. As their wealth increased, so did their idolatry, self-reliance, and moral compromise. This message explores the danger of seeking God’s blessings more than God Himself and reminds us that we eventually reap what we sow. Rather than chasing what the world offers, we are called to “sow righteousness” by turning our hearts and desires back toward God, trusting Him for the harvest.

Hosea Part 10 - The Trap of Prosperity
2026/08/02
Have you ever wondered if the very blessings God has given you could become the thing that pulls your heart away from Him?
In Hosea 9, God confronts Israel with a sobering truth: they had become more captivated by His gifts than by His presence. Their pursuit of prosperity, comfort, and success had slowly replaced a life of faith, surrender, and obedience.
In this message, we'll explore how easily we can fall into the same trap today. Through the story of Bruce Almighty, the warning of Hosea, and the teachings of James and Jesus, we'll discover why God's blessings were never meant to become our ultimate pursuit. True evidence of God's work in our lives isn't found in wealth or comfort—it's found in steadfast faith, joyful contentment, and a heart fully surrendered to Him.
If you've ever wrestled with questions like, "Does God's favor always look like prosperity?" or "How do I know if my heart is drifting?" then this message is for you.
Join us as we learn to love the Giver more than the gifts and fix our eyes on the One who never changes.
