"He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed." Passion Week 2026-Part 1 Palm Sunday | John 12:9-16 Pastor Phil Ballmaier 3-29-26 Join Pastor Phil Ballmaier for this special 3-Part Passion Week Series! He begins and celebrates a poignant time in Jesus' ministry. The day He fulfilled prophecy (Zechariah 9:9) and rode into Jerusalem on a humble creature—on the back of a donkey. The crowds gathered and waved palm branches, shouting "Hosanna! ("Save now!") Blessed is He Who comes in the name of The Lord!," as they believed their Messiah had arrived to fulfill that prophecy—yet many did not recognize Him as their Lord and Savior. Instead, they were hoping for a political messiah who would relieve them of Roman oppression... The Pharisees despised Him. May your hearts be filled with love, passion and joy, that He has come!
