Description

Welcome to Rabbit, Rabbit: REDEFINING WORK & LIFE Host Kristine Scichilone has built the career, chased the title, and scaled the business. She's also unraveled, questioned everything, and rebuilt with more intention. This show is where that experience meets the conversations she wishes she'd had sooner, about how to live, work, and lead on your own terms. Each episode explores the intersection of ambition and alignment, through sharp marketing insight, honest founder reflection, and the real stories behind success (the kind that don't make it to LinkedIn). Whether you're scaling, starting over, or simply questioning the pace you're running, this podcast is your prompt to pause. Not to slow down for the sake of it, but to move with more precision and less performance. Part marketing mentor, part mindset coach. Always zero fluff. You'll get grounded strategy, personal truth, and the occasional poetic gut punch. For founders, creatives, and corporate pros who care about ambition and alignment.

E150 I Can Sleep Fine. My Brain Just Won't Let Go.
2026/10/08
I can sleep. What I couldn't do for a long time was let my brain close out the day. After a client job in events, where I was in bed at 4 AM and answering Slack at 8 AM to look dedicated, I learned the problem was never the sleep. It was having nowhere to put everything still running. In this episode, I walk through what finally worked for me, including my full close-out-the-day routine, start to finish. In this episode: The 8 AM Slack: Why I answered instantly on two hours of sleep, and the belief about response time I carried out of corporate Women and sleep: Women are about 40% more likely to have insomnia, and poor sleep hits their mood harder Hours needed, women vs. men: The official guidance is the same, but women sleep 11 to 30 minutes longer on average. Here's why My shutdown routine: Notebook, calendar, or Slack for tomorrow's items, then the TV room, candle, magnesium or tart cherry seltzer, and a phone that goes in the drawer Build your own: The structure to steal, so you're not copying mine If you left the job but kept the pattern, start here. E149: How to Finally Launch the Thing You Keep Delaying
2026/09/23
You don't need a better idea, more time, or the "right" moment; you need a start date and thirty days of showing up without dabbling. In this episode, Kristine breaks down why most new habits, launches, and side projects stall out in the first few weeks (it's not a discipline problem, it's a structure problem), names the exact excuses that keep smart, capable women stuck in idea-mode, and gives a concrete framework for actually launching the newsletter, podcast, or service you've been sitting on. What you'll learn: Why willpower isn't the issue — and what's actually missing when a new habit doesn't stick The "no dabbling" rule — why doing something once doesn't count, and what consistency for 30 days actually requires The five excuses that keep people stuck — and how to hear yourself using them in real time A concrete first step to finally launch the thing you've been delaying, starting this week If you've been meaning to start a newsletter, launch a podcast, or open up your services and keep putting it off, this episode gives you the exact reframe (and the first move) to finally do it. Ready to build the actual map instead of another good intention? Grab From Idea to Action, the 90-minute workshop that turns your idea into a real 30-day plan. Led by OOO-Marketing's experienced co-founders, you'll walk away with: ✅ A clear, confident message you can actually say out loud (and post online) ✅ A simple 30-day marketing plan that fits your real capacity ✅ A strategy that gets you out of your head and into action ✅ BONUS CONTENT PACK: A 30-Day Content Calendar, The OOO Content Swipe File (so you're never starting from scratch) ✅ BONUS AI ACCELERATOR PACK: AI-Powered Marketing Prompt Pack, Using Your Voice Profile with AI ✅ Written Feedback on Your Finished Plan ✅ 1:1 Accountability Touch Base START NOW: ooo-marketing.com/bootcamp Create your own luck. E148 The Expertise Trap: Why You Can't Explain What You Do
2026/08/19
The more expertise you have, the harder it is to explain what you do simply. On this episode of Rabbit, Rabbit: Redefining Work & Life, I name a pattern I see constantly in smart, capable women building something of their own: the expertise trap. The more you know, the more nuance you can see, so your brain defaults to giving the complete answer instead of the simple one. That is why your about page still sounds like a resume, why your elevator pitch keeps changing, and why your LinkedIn headline lists five things separated by dots. I break down where this pattern comes from, why it served you for ten or twenty years in a corporate job or another brand environment, and why it stops working the moment you are building something of your own. I share what this looked like for us at OOO-Marketing when we expanded past our original network and had to learn how to talk about the new thing without leading with our old titles. Then I walk through the framework I use with every client and in our own business: One Person, One Problem, One Outcome. Not a demographic. Not a list of services. A specific person, a specific problem, a specific outcome, whether you are pivoting out of a corporate career, building a personal brand, or trying to sell your art for the first time. Getting specific is not exclusion; it is recognition. Generalists get compared on price. Specialists get sought out by name. If you have been rewriting your messaging longer than you want to admit, or you can't quite send the pitch, the RebOOOt Identifier is where we start. The link is in the show notes. Rabbit, Rabbit. E147 Portfolio Careers Are not About Passion, They're About Risk
2026/07/29
What is a portfolio career, really? Kristine breaks down the 40-year-old idea everyone thinks is new and why it's about risk, not passion. A portfolio career is a working life built on multiple income streams, roles, and projects, instead of one full-time job with one employer. The term isn't new: it was coined by management thinker Charles Handy back in the 1980s, decades before "multi-hyphenate" was a LinkedIn buzzword. In this episode, Kristine breaks down what a portfolio career actually is with examples.  Plus we cover the four common shapes portfolio careers fall into: fractional work, one-expertise-many-formats, multi-hyphenate creative, and "pays today, pays later." In this episode: What a portfolio career actually is (and who coined the term) Two real-world models of what one can look like The 4 shapes portfolio careers commonly take Why "what do you do" doesn't fit in one sentence anymore The real reason to build one: risk management, not passion Why this isn't just a founder problem Resources  RebOOOt Sessions ooo-marketing.com/reboootsessions
E146 Imposter Syndrome at Work: You're Not Behind, You Just Joined Late
2026/06/24
Every time I walk into a new project, the first all-hands meeting, the first Zoom with a team that's been in it for months, my brain does the same thing. How am I going to catch up. Will they figure me out. Not because there's anything real to figure out. But because my first instinct is to assume everyone in that room knows more than me. It took me an embarrassingly long time to see what was actually happening: they'd been briefed on this since day one. I was walking in on day 90. That's not imposter syndrome. That's a context gap. And those are not the same thing. In this episode of Rabbit, Rabbit, I'm breaking down what we keep getting wrong about imposter syndrome at work, why confidence gets mistaken for competence, what it really feels like to leave a major brand behind and rebuild your credibility from scratch, and why the most dangerous version of imposter syndrome isn't the one you have. It's the one the person next to you doesn't.   This episode is for you if:  You're stepping into new projects or teams; You've made a career pivot and the old confidence signals don't apply anymore; You've gone from corporate to founder and can't figure out why you feel less certain than you used to; You're tired of imposter syndrome advice that doesn't match your actual experience. Or all of the above.  Ready to build your foundation? No framework. No guest. No big strategic reveal. Just me, being honest with you about something I've thought about more than a normal person should think about anything: Rabbit, Rabbit is taking a summer. Not disappearing. Not going on hiatus in that way, where podcasts go on hiatus and then vanish into witness protection. None of that. Just summer hours, one episode a month for June, July, and August, and then we come back in September with a show that's had real room to become something better. In this episode, I explain the whole thing. The real reasons, not the tidy version. Why a podcast on a tight schedule is a hungry animal. Why you can't make a good show about building a deliberate life while you're personally living a frantic one. And why the three summer episodes I'm saving for you are the ones I didn't want to rush. I also give you your challenge for the summer — because if I'm stepping back from something on purpose before something forces me to, you should be too. Rest isn't the reward for the work. Sometimes it's the strategy. One more thing: if you just listened to Episode 144 — The Permission Problem — consider this me taking my own advice. Out loud. In public. Go have a summer. E144 The Permission You're Waiting For Is Yours
2026/05/21
E144 The Permission You're Waiting For Is Yours You keep telling yourself you just need a little more time. A little more certainty. One more round of research before you make the move. Here's the reframe: you don't have a readiness problem, you have a permission problem. And the two look almost identical. This episode is about the difference between a readiness problem and a permission problem, and why the second one keeps capable people stuck for years. Where you got wired to wait for a green light. How permission-seeking disguises itself as being responsible. And why nobody's coming to hand you the go-ahead, because that part's yours now. No pep talk. The real conversation about why you're still waiting, and how to stop. And you? You're trying to run an actual business. In this episode, I'm breaking down why most visibility advice doesn't work for founders, consultants, and people building real businesses. We're talking about the difference between performing for the algorithm and actually making it easy for the right people to find you. I'll walk you through my own messy attempts at social media—from launching a professional Instagram out of panic (visibility without clarity is exhausting), to realizing OOO Marketing's aesthetic content wasn't actually doing anything, to rebuilding our entire Instagram strategy around our new product, Co-Pilot. You'll hear: Why "just post more" is terrible advice when you're already doing the actual work The difference between visibility for influencers vs. visibility for problem-solvers What actually matters: a point of view, a specific audience, and real consistency (not algorithmic anxiety) Permission to build in private, pick one platform, and sound like yourself Where I am now with OOO's Instagram and the shift from aesthetic content to building in public Resources mentioned: From Idea to Action workshop, 90 minutes, $27, gives you actual clarity instead of more "post daily" advice. E142 The Quiet Ones: What Introverts Know About Leadership
2026/04/22
They told you to speak up more. Be more visible. Work the room. And so you tried. You forced yourself into the open office, the networking events, and the constant collaboration. And it worked, until it didn't. Kristine explores what introversion actually is (and isn't), why workplace culture is built for extroverts, and how introverts can build careers that honor the way they're actually wired. This episode dives into where introverts excel, the hidden cost of performing extroversion, and how to lead from quiet, without apology. In this episode: What introversion actually is (it's not shyness) Why modern workplace culture is built for extroverts and what that costs introverts Where introverts actually excel in leadership The burnout that comes from performing extroversion How to build a career around deep work, not visibility Why your quiet isn't a gap in your leadership, it's the source of it This episode is for introverts who are done performing. And for anyone who's ready to lead from who they actually are.
E141 Not Just the Loud One: Rethinking Extroverts
2026/04/08
Here's a question nobody's asking: how are the extroverts doing? In this episode of Rabbit, Rabbit, Kristine and her extrovert co-founder Danielle have an honest, warm, and occasionally spicy conversation about what extroversion actually looks like, across personal life, work life, and leadership. Not a personality breakdown. A real conversation between two people who work together every day and have very different wiring. They get into: What people get wrong about extroverts (it's not about attention, it's about aliveness) The difference between visibility and effectiveness at work What extroverted leaders have to actively learn to do differently Why a packed social calendar can still feel hollow What extroverts actually need and why they rarely ask for it The honest version of the introvert-extrovert in-between Whether you're a full extrovert, deeply introverted, or perpetually somewhere in the middle, this one's worth 30 minutes. 🎧 Rabbit, Rabbit. E140 The Otrovert: Have They Finally Identified Me? A Lesson In Leadership
2026/03/24
The Otrovert: Have They Finally Identified Me? A Lesson In Leadership You took the quiz. It said extrovert, because you light up rooms, command meetings, own a stage. But then you went home and needed 24 hours of silence. And you thought: something must be off with me. Nothing is off with you. You just didn't have the word yet. In this solo episode, Kristine introduces the concept of the Otrorvert, the person who lives between introvert and extrovert, who can show up fully and needs to fully disappear afterwards. The person who is situationally social, not chronically social. The person whose best ideas never come in the noise, they come in the pause after it. This episode explores why the introvert/extrovert binary never fit, what research reveals about ambiverts in leadership, and how understanding your energy patterns can completely reshape how you build your career and schedule your life. In this episode: Why most people actually sit somewhere in the middle of the personality spectrum How "situationally social" differs from "chronically social" and why it matters Why ambiverts often outperform both introverts and extroverts in leadership roles The hidden cost of performing as a full-time extrovert when you're not wired that way Practical strategies for designing your work life around your actual energy cycles Why visibility without reflection leads to noise, not strategy This episode is for anyone who has spent years performing a version of leadership that wasn't quite built for them. And for anyone who is ready to stop apologizing for needing the quiet. Because your quiet isn't a gap in your leadership. It's the source of it. E139 Reinvention as a Return: How to Evolve Without Burning It All Down
2026/03/11
We're in Life Design Mode for this Episode There's a season where nothing is technically wrong, but the old rules stop working. You're still capable. Still producing. Still holding it together. But it doesn't feel like you anymore. In this episode of Rabbit, Rabbit, we explore reinvention not as a glow-up or a rebrand—but as a return to self. Kristine and Danielle are joined by Jane Stewart of Inspired with Jane, a Western fashion creator and storyteller who proves that reinvention doesn't have an expiration date. Jane shares her journey from decades in corporate life to a quieter, steadier version of success, one rooted in presence, self-trust, and lived experience. Together, we talk about: Why reinvention doesn't have to be loud or dramatic What it really means to "come home to yourself" The quiet work of unlearning old belief systems Why being a beginner again is often the bravest move How grief, identity shifts, and life transitions can become teachers, not failures The difference between visibility as performance vs presence If you've felt the pull to change, but don't want to burn everything down, this episode is your permission to move slowly, honestly, and on your own terms. 🎙 Rabbit, Rabbit is the podcast for redefining work, life, and success, one honest decision at a time. E138 If You Cringe at Your Own Content, This Is for You
2026/02/25
Rabbit Rabbit is where Business Brain meets Life Design. This Episode is Business Brain Focused If You Cringe at Your Own Content, This Is for You. You're great at what you do. Your clients get results. Your referrals are strong. So why does your marketing feel… off? In this episode of Rabbit Rabbit, Kristine dives into one of the most underdiagnosed blockers to growth for expert-led brands: unclear, misaligned, or watered-down messaging. If you've ever read your own caption and thought, "Why doesn't this even sound like me?" this conversation will hit. We're unpacking: The Clarity Trap (when your business evolves faster than your messaging) The difference between having a voice and actually owning your narrative How voice drift quietly erodes trust as you scale Why AI can generate content, but it can't define your point of view What real voice clarity looks like operationally (not just aesthetically) This isn't about writing better captions. It's about building strategic infrastructure, so your marketing actually reflects the business you've built. If your content feels duct-taped together… if your team is guessing what to say… if your marketing feels behind your capability, it's time to close the voice gap. Press play. Let's fix it.
