Description

WE EXIST TO ELEVATE JESUS AND HIS POWER TO RESTORE. We see in the Bible that a restored life begins with a restored relationship with God. That’s why Jesus came and that is our mission as church. We’re passionate about seeing lives restored, one relationship at a time, where individuals who are living far from God come home to Him and discover the amazing plans He has for their lives. A Life-Giving Church | We believe Restore Church is a place of empowerment, where individuals and families are enabled to grow strong and flourish in life. We value authentic worship, relevant and practical Bible-based teaching, and the positive change that takes place beyond Sunday morning as we develop honest friendships and share life through community. A Missions-Driven Church | We believe that our church is a movement and that we are a part of something much bigger than ourselves. We are passionate about sharing the message of Jesus that has powerfully impacted our own lives and we are uniting together on a mission to serve our generation and to bring the life-changing message of Jesus to our city, our nation and the world. A Generous Church
 | We believe that our church is here to be a blessing and we want to add value to our community by reaching out with compassion to those who are in need. We love our City and the people in it and we’re committed to using the resources God has given us to serve and bless our community and the organizations that are making a difference in our area.

Restored to Make a Difference
2026/09/27
LIVE RESTORED, PART 6 | RESTORED TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE Spiritual growth is more than knowing more about God. It is becoming more like Jesus. As we grow in Him, His heart of love and compassion begins to shape the way we see and respond to people. Galatians 6:1–2 teaches us to restore those who have fallen, carry one another’s burdens, and fulfill the law of Christ, which is the law of love. Spiritual maturity moves us beyond simply seeing the needs around us. We begin to see people through the heart of Jesus, and His compassion moves us toward them. In the story of the Good Samaritan, the priest and Levite saw the wounded man and passed by, but the Samaritan “had compassion.” His compassion moved him to action. He went to the man, cared for his wounds, lifted him up, and made provision for his restoration. This is the heart of Jesus. He sees people, He is moved with compassion, and He moves toward them with restoring love. As we become more like Him, His heart becomes our heart, His compassion becomes our compassion, and His compassion moves us to make a difference. Live the Life You Were Meant To Live
2026/09/20
God created you to live a life that goes beyond the limitations of your past, your present circumstances, and what you have experienced before. In Philippians 3:13–14, the Apostle Paul refused to allow where he had been to determine where he was going. He chose to forget what was behind, reach forward to what was ahead, and keep pressing toward everything God had called him to become. But reaching forward requires more than leaving the past behind. It requires becoming who God has called us to be. That’s why Ephesians 4:22–24 challenges us to put off the old man, be renewed in the spirit of our minds, and put on the new man. We cannot step into a new life while continuing to think within old limitations. Living restored means allowing God to renew our minds, expand our vision, and lead us beyond previous boundaries. Don’t allow where you have been to determine how far you can go. Keep reaching forward and step into the life God created you to live! Restored to Grow Strong
2026/09/13
God’s restoring work in our lives is meant to lead to spiritual growth. Through our restored relationship with God, He is strengthening us, maturing us, and transforming us to become more like Jesus. The stronger we become in Him, the better prepared we are to overcome adversity and accomplish all that God has called us to do. Colossians 2:6–7 NLT says, “And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong…” God has more ahead for you, so keep growing strong! Let your roots go deeper in Jesus and continue building your life on His Word. Don’t settle for where you are today. Keep following Jesus, keep growing in faith, and let the Holy Spirit continue transforming you to become more like Him! Discover Who You Were Born To Be
2026/09/06
Too often, we define ourselves by our own limited perspective or through the eyes of others. But God sees beyond our past failures, present weaknesses, and circumstances to the purpose and potential He has placed within us. In this message, you will be challenged to see yourself through God’s eyes, embrace the identity revealed in His Word, and become who you were born to be. John 15:4 NKJV — “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.” Jesus is the true source of life. Choose to draw near to Him today, abide in Him, and allow His love, grace, and truth to restore you and transform every area of your life. In His presence, you can let go of false labels, see who you truly are in His sight, and live the life you were meant to live! Restored to Know God
2026/08/30
"And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” - John 17:3 NKJV Through Jesus, we have been reconciled to God and invited into the most important relationship we will ever have. We were created not simply to know about God, but to know Him personally, walk with Him daily, and continually grow closer to Him. In this message, discover three keys to knowing God better: enjoy your restored relationship with Him, make fellowship with Him a daily habit, and value knowing Him above everything else. May knowing God be the daily pursuit of our hearts, and the one relationship that transforms every other part of who we are! Restoration Grace
2026/08/23
Jesus came to reveal God’s restoring grace so we can live restored by knowing God, growing strong, and making a difference in the lives of others. Titus 2:11–12 NKJV – “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age.” This is restoration grace. God’s grace does more than forgive our past and give us the promise of eternity. His grace teaches, strengthens, and empowers us to live restored in the present. As we receive and respond to His grace each day, we can overcome what has held us back, grow into who God created us to be, and walk in the purpose He has prepared for us! Get Back Up and Walk With Him
2026/08/16
Following Jesus does not mean we will never fall; it means we do not remain down. Proverbs 24:16 NLT says, “The godly may trip seven times, but they will get up again.” We may be knocked down, but through Christ, we are never knocked out! In this message, you’ll be encouraged with five ways you can get back up and keep walking with Him: wait on the Lord instead of fretting, shift to a heavenly perspective, put on the new person you are in Christ, acknowledge every good thing He has placed within you, and boldly declare who you are and what you have in Christ. Get back up, agree with God, and keep walking with Him! Restore Church | Yorkville, IL Sunday Mornings | 10 AM Jordan & Melissa Gash, Pastors https://www.restorechurchyorkville.com
My Answer Will Be Yes
2026/08/09
Following Jesus isn’t just a one-time yes; it’s a daily yes. Jesus said, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me” (Luke 9:23–24 NKJV). Every day brings new opportunities to surrender our will, trust His Word, follow His leading, and choose His way over our own. Wherever God has planted you in this season, let your answer to Him be yes. Yes to His Word. Yes to His Spirit. Yes to His will. Yes to growing, changing, and becoming more like Jesus. When we say yes to Him, we are also saying no to anything that would pull us away from Him. A fruitful life is built on a daily surrender: “Yes, Lord. Wherever You lead, whatever You ask, my answer will be yes.” Restore Church | Yorkville, IL Sunday Mornings | 10 AM Jordan & Melissa Gash, Pastors https://www.restorechurchyorkville.com
Hard Seasons, Tender Hearts
2026/08/02
Hard seasons don’t have to produce hard hearts. Every season of difficulty presents us with a choice: to become bitter or to become better, to resist God or draw closer to Him. Our Heavenly Father calls us to keep our hearts tender, our ears open to His voice, and our lives responsive to His Word, even when He corrects us. Hosea 10:12 reminds us to “break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the LORD.” As we seek Him, He softens the hardened places in our hearts so His Word can take root and produce lasting fruit. Don’t allow difficult seasons to harden your heart. Instead, keep seeking Him, stay teachable, and trust that He is preparing you for everything He has ahead. As you stay tenderhearted, you will find His mercy and grace to bloom right where you’re planted! Stewardship Skills
2026/07/26
We are all stewards of what God has entrusted to us: our time, gifts, calling, relationships, opportunities, finances, health, words, thoughts, and spiritual lives. A wise and faithful steward values where they are and what they have in their hands. Rather than trying to escape our present season, we should ask, “What am I doing with what God has given me?” Faithfulness begins by recognizing that nothing God entrusts to us is insignificant. “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.” - Zechariah 4:10 NLT God rejoiced when He saw the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand because it represented obedience, progress, and faithful stewardship. The work was not finished, but Zerubbabel had begun using what was in his hand. Do not look down on your current season, assignment, or opportunity because it seems small. Value where God has planted you, faithfully steward what He has given you, and trust Him to bring the work to completion! Times and Seasons
2026/07/19
No matter what season you’re in, God is still at work! “I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return].” - Philippians 1:6 AMPC Time is one of God’s greatest gifts. Every season has a purpose, and every season is an opportunity to grow. Rather than wishing for a different season, God calls us to make the most of the one we’re in, trusting that He is faithfully accomplishing His work in us as we bloom where we’re planted. Three keys to being fruitful in your current season: 1. Stir Up the Gift That’s in You Don’t allow the gifts God has placed within you to remain dormant. Stir up your gifts and choose to be on fire! 2. Remember Your Calling Your circumstances may change, but God’s calling on your life remains. Stay faithful where you are, trusting that He is preparing you for what’s ahead. 3. Choose to Magnify God In Psalm 34, David declared, “Oh, magnify the Lord with me,” while he was running for his life. He chose to make God bigger than his circumstances. As we magnify the Lord, our perspective changes, our faith grows, and we become fruitful, even in hard seasons. Wherever God has planted you, make the most of this season. Trust that He is at work in you, growing your faith, shaping your character, and preparing you for what’s ahead! Partnership With the Holy Spirit
2026/07/12
This weekend, our longtime friend, Pastor Chris Romine, traveled all the way from Kentucky to deliver a powerful message on the Holy Spirit. “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.” – John 14:15-18 May we continue to fellowship with and partner with the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to guide not only our daily decisions but also our new lives in Christ! Freedom Foundations
2026/07/05
Freedom Foundations | A Legacy of Faith and Freedom “We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the LORD, about his power and his mighty wonders… So each generation should set its hope anew on God.” — Psalm 78:4, 7 (NLT) This Independence Day weekend, we celebrated the freedoms we enjoy as Americans while remembering that true and lasting freedom is found only in Jesus Christ. He sets us free from sin, shame, fear, and the bondage of our past, giving us new life and a living hope. Throughout Scripture, God reveals Himself as our Deliverer, breaking chains, opening doors, and leading His people into freedom. As followers of Christ, we are called to stand firm in the liberty He has given us, never take His blessings for granted, and faithfully pass our faith and hope on to the next generation. May we continue to build our lives on the foundation of God’s truth, treasure the freedom we have in Christ, and leave a legacy that points others to Him! Rooted in the Water of God's Word
2026/06/28
This week we continued our Blessed Roots series by looking at the life changing power of God's Word. Just as a tree depends on a constant source of water to grow strong and healthy, we are called to sink our roots deep into the living water of God's Word. As we trust Him, receive His truth, and walk in obedience, His Word refreshes our souls, strengthens our faith, and produces lasting fruit in every season of life. Psalm 1:1-3 NKJV - Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.  The invitation is simple: stay planted by the rivers of God's Word. Continue receiving it with humility, delighting in it daily, and putting it into practice. Those whose roots remain in His living water will continue to grow in trust, love, contentment, and fruitfulness through every season of life. Rooted in the Love of Our Heavenly Father
2026/06/21
This week, we looked at the foundational truth of living rooted and grounded in the love of our Heavenly Father. Just as healthy roots provide strength, stability, and nourishment for a tree, God’s love is the foundation that sustains and strengthens our lives. His love is wider, longer, deeper, and higher than we have yet experienced, and He is continually inviting us to discover more. The more deeply we are rooted in His love, the stronger we become, the more resilient we are in difficult seasons, and the more fruit we are able to produce for His glory. Ephesians 3:17-19 NKJV - that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what [is] the width and length and depth and height– to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. God never intended for us to simply know about His love. He wants us to live in it, draw from it, and be transformed by it. When we allow our roots to go deep into His love, fear loses its grip, insecurity gives way to confidence, and weariness is replaced with strength. No matter what season you are facing, His love remains constant, sufficient, and available. This week, take time to receive the Father’s love afresh. Spend time in His presence, meditate on His promises, and allow Him to reveal new dimensions of His heart toward you.
