Episode 383: Think on your Feet LV
2026/09/24
Join Frank for another Think on your Feet episode. Here we're tweaking our Tommy Muldoon deck to take on New Horizons in the middle of the night!  In Think on your Feet episodes, I endeavour not to edit much at all. Sometimes I cut some shuffling sounds or abbreviate some of my longer pauses (a chap's got to think!), but otherwise, it's uncut, unaltered and meant to feel like you're with me at the table. There may be mistakes and misplays, but hopefully some successes too. Timestamps 0.00 preamble 2.35 the 'new' deck 5.20 xp choices  6.10 the blood blight 7.50 scenario set-up 10.05 a random question 12.05 location arrangement 13.05 opening hand 13.58 gameplay begins 42.30 post-game review - what would a new Tommy list look like?  44.35 post-game resolution Amazing logo courtesy of this guy Join Drawn to the Flame on Patreon: www.patreon.com/drawntotheflame Email us on [email protected] | Find us on Bluesky Thank you for listening and subscribing.
Episode 382: Think on your Feet LIV

Join Frank for another Think on your Feet episode. Yet again, we step into the unknown, with an unplayed-before deck and an unplayed-before scenario. Let's go! Episode 381: Where are You at with Arkham?
2026/08/06
Join Frank and Peter for a riff on this question: where are you at with Arkham? How do you feel about allocation? How is chapter two hitting? What impact does that have on casting? And what else is catching our attention? Episode 380: Crisis of Identity (of Sorts)
2026/07/16
Join Frank and Peter for a head-scratcher: is Carolyn the new Daisy? What does that mean? And if it means what we think it means, what does that say about chapter 1 Arkham in comparison with chapter 2 Arkham, if anything?  Amazing logo courtesy of this guy Join Drawn to the Flame on Patreon: www.patreon.com/drawntotheflame Email us on [email protected] | Find us on Bluesky Thank you for listening and subscribing.
Episode 379: Wondrous Lands V
2026/07/02
Join Frank for another instalment of Wondrous Lands, a live play series of Earthborne Rangers. This is the first campaign, Lure of the Valley, solo. As this is recorded live, slips and errors are sure to creep in, so please extend me your understanding - I hope you enjoy the journey alongside me! If you want more of an explainer of the game, check out the first Wondrous Lands episode, where I offer more of a rules explainer.  You can view the map here, the campaign log here and my deck here. Episode 377: Arcane Environments
2026/05/28

2026/05/14
Join Frank and Peter as they look at some of the hits and misses of the chapter two core set - aka the 2026 core set - for Arkham Horror The Card Game, and specifically the highs and lows of Brethren of Ash, the core set campaign. We're looking at what we love, what worked for us, and what left us wanting more.  Amazing logo courtesy of this guy Join Drawn to the Flame on Patreon: www.patreon.com/drawntotheflame Email us on [email protected] | Find us on Bluesky Thank you for listening and subscribing.
Episode 375: Think on your Feet LIII
2026/05/07
Join Frank for another Think on your Feet episode. Here ends our Brethren of Ash solo playthrough! Episode 374: Think on your Feet LII
2026/04/30
Join Frank for another Think on your Feet episode. The patrons have voted, so we're embarking on " versus Brethren of Ash" In Think on your Feet episodes, I endeavour not to edit much at all. Sometimes I cut some shuffling sounds or abbreviate some of my longer pauses (a chap's got to think!), but otherwise, it's uncut, unaltered and meant to feel like you're with me at the table. There may be mistakes and misplays, but hopefully some successes too. My deck: first scenario | second scenario 0.00 preamble 2.05 first scenario intro 4.35 opening hand 5.05 gameplay begins 33.10 first scenario analysis 33.55 second scenario intro 36.55 what's the map like? 41.03 opening hand 41.26 gameplay begins 1.27.15 I forget to take a horror from a pursuing Whippoorwill but a minute later I remember it. During the recording, I realise I may have made a rather major mess-up this playthrough, somehow internalising that Izzie's ability is once per test rather than once per round. I do spot this error at 1.01.25... and during the edit I've checked and I never in fact make the error! Phewee! Just shows how things can slip by. So even though I am not sure whether I used her ability multiple times per phase, it turns out... I didn't. Episode 373: Think on your Feet LI
2026/04/16
Join Frank for another Think on your Feet episode. After our last episode, in which Frank tried out two of the premade decks, here Frank tries another one (or two, or three). 0.00 preamble 3.57 who are we playing? 6.15 class overview 9.13 final setup 10.47 opening hand 12.05 gameplay begins - or at least scheming 49.50 taking a breath, resetting, class overview 54.05 gander in the rulebook 55.17 opening hand 1.09.45 resetting, class overview 1.13.37 opening hand At 31.23: I say skulls are -2 on a 5 v 2 test. I'm wrong, skulls are -3s by this point in the scenario. Luckily, that doesn't matter! I spot it at 36.05 or so. At 1.17.13: I miscount my handsize due to the assistant, but I spot it shortly afterwards.  Throughout: I keep calling Servant of Flame Servant of the Flame. Maybe it's because I'm so used to Drawn to the Flame rather than Drawn to Flame? Anyway, I spot it, apologise for it, and continue to do it pretty much indiscriminately throughout. Sorry! At 1.26.00 or so: I kill two experiments and forget to be horrified by them, but I spot this and correct it at 1.32.40.  Amazing logo courtesy of this guy Join Drawn to the Flame on Patreon: www.patreon.com/drawntotheflame Email us on [email protected] | Find us on Bluesky Thank you for listening and subscribing.
Episode 372: Think on your Feet L
2026/04/02
Join Frank for another Think on your Feet episode - this time, it's tearing into the new 'chapter two' core set for Arkham Horror The Card Game The Living Card Game. At 29.30 I get confused - I'd missed a damage from fire on the mutant from the previous turn, so it should've died at this point (and me with it).  Amazing logo courtesy of this guy Join Drawn to the Flame on Patreon: www.patreon.com/drawntotheflame Email us on [email protected] | Find us on Bluesky Thank you for listening and subscribing.
Episode 371: Visions of Futures Past XXX
2026/03/27
Join Frank and Peter as we preview half a dozen cards as part of the Survivor investigator deck preview season. Timestamps: 0.00 intro + rewards 3.15 setup + a new mission 11.25 gameplay begins 30.25 our first travel 50.30 our second travel 1.02.50 trade, you say? 1.07.20 I realise I've forgotten the weather - I punish myself by flipping to the hot sunny side.  Amazing logo courtesy of this guy Join Drawn to the Flame on Patreon: www.patreon.com/drawntotheflame Email us on [email protected] | Twitter is here and Facebook is here.
