Limited Appeal - Tin Cake Pan Throw
2026/09/28
Have you torn some muscles, and then had your ball switched around, and does that now limit your movement somehow? Like "this"? If so, was it by design or did they just put in your bone backwards? That leads into our first topic, "How Bout That?" Turns out the inventor of the Frisbee died and got made into some discs. How about that? We have a lot of questions. Have you requested being pressed into a shape once you die? If so, let us know your thinking by sending us an email ([email protected]). Theme music courtesy of General Patton vs. The X-Ecutioners and Ipecac Recordings.
Limited Appeal - Come Again - Hello hello
2026/08/14
Limited Appeal's Come Again episodes are re-releases of some of our favourite episodes. New material will be coming soon. In the meantime, listen to one of our most popular episodes ever: Hello hello. I guess people just love audio glitches. Enjoy! Theme music courtesy of General Patton vs. The X-Ecutioners and Ipecac Recordings.
Limited Appeal - Come Again - Floppy sock
2026/05/28
Limited Appeal's Come Again episodes are re-releases of some of our favourite episodes. Here is Floppy Sock, going all the way back to Season 2. It features our very first "Name 5" segment. Theme music courtesy of General Patton vs. The X-Ecutioners and Ipecac Recordings.
Limited Appeal - The curse of the time-limited curses
2026/01/28
Warren had a prolonged argument with ChatGPT about the movie Liar Liar. Who do you think was more annoying in this argument? I take no bets on this, because I think you can guess. To what extent does qualifying your statements carefully allow you to express yourself without breaking the curse rules? Or does it just make the script excessively boring? Why not make your curse forever? Is that the default? So many pointless unanswered questions. If you honestly think Jim Carey's character lied more in the movie than the three times Warren suggested, send us an email ([email protected]). Theme music courtesy of General Patton vs. The X-Ecutioners and Ipecac Recordings.
Limited Appeal - Come Again - Merry Tedmas
2025/12/16
Limited Appeal's Come Again episodes are re-releases of some of our favourite episodes. This episode features the origin of Tedmas. Strangely, this is one of our most listened to episodes of all time. Enjoy and Merry Tedmas! Theme music courtesy of General Patton vs. The X-Ecutioners and Ipecac Recordings.
Limited Appeal - Your moufette kind of stinks
2025/10/11
Did you know, that in the Middle Ages, Europe was riddled with skats (Skunk - Cat hybrids)? How would you deal with this? If your idea does not involve animal suits and ambush, you might be doing it wrong. In case anything seems dark about the Looney Tunes inspiration for our skit, rest assured that all the characters are completely indefensible. Listen for the trick to overcoming skunk discharges in almost all scenarios. Except nightmares, or large groups. If you know the Turkish word for Chmoufette, send us an email ([email protected]). Theme music courtesy of General Patton vs. The X-Ecutioners and Ipecac Recordings.
Limited Appeal - Come Again - Mice like mice
2025/09/01

Limited Appeal - None of your business
2025/06/26
We have a brand new contest for you this week: What Am I Eating, Business Name Edition. We forgot to record the explanation, but it doesn't matter – you'll figure it out. Even if you don't get it at first, you will eventually because we play multiple rounds of the first round from multiple rounds. Play along if you like! If you're from Des Moines and want to contest John's disparagement or the dietary symbolism of buzzards, send us an email ([email protected]). Theme music courtesy of General Patton vs. The X-Ecutioners and Ipecac Recordings.
Limited Appeal - Come again
2025/06/01
We started to record an intro for future rereleases (but not re-releases of future episodes). Then we got distracted. How did you rewind before tapes? How many fists big were these tubes? And where did you put all them? Also, John feels like generative AI is copying us: if you provide a completely made-up idiom, apparently AIs will make up a convincing backstory. But that's our gig, isn't it? That and serial re-dis-expectation meeting. Anyway, Gemini, we're onto you. Stay out of our lane! If you have a recording of the sound of tubes rewinding, email us ([email protected]). Theme music courtesy of General Patton vs. The X-Ecutioners and Ipecac Recordings.
Limited Appeal - Pow, right in the branflakes
2025/03/21
Warren mentioned that one of our most downloaded episodes was toilet-themed, and without meaning to, that led to yet-more on-theme discussion. Hurry up and buy some bran phlakes shares now! Also, the new Bill and Ted Movie is good, provided you're in the right demo, and like Louis Armstrong. Anyhoo, if you're in the market for bidets, or patio furniture, or hanging chairs, try Babas, or go back in time, Bill and Ted style, and visit Consumers Distributing just beside the Bonanza that burned down. Let us know how that works by sending an email to [email protected]. Theme music courtesy of General Patton vs. The X-Ecutioners and Ipecac Recordings.
Limited Appeal - Welcome to the Zombie Apocalypse
2024/10/22
Welcome to welcome to the apolocalypse! It contains a potentially new segment called, "Am I wrong about this?" When faced with a Zombie apocalypse, shouldn't you aim for the achilles, or at least the leg? Maybe as a weapon-in-the-head lodging problem-avoidance. (SPOILER ALERT: we might give away a plot element from the first few minutes of pick whichever zombie franchise.) Or, how about many cans of expandable foam? With proper preparation, this could be a winning tactic. If you think your strategy for defeating the next plague of undead is better than some slow-moving farm equipment, let us know by email ([email protected]). Theme music courtesy of General Patton vs. The X-Ecutioners and Ipecac Recordings.
Limited Appeal - Half title
2024/05/03
We are not the first podcast. OK? We start in Pooh Corner. Assume that half the world's population are going to disappear somehow. How could we adjust this event to make it as happy as possible? We should try to see such things in a positive light, after all. In case you are a magician or have an infinite glove or something similar, consider our advice. For example: we randomly alternate who is disappeared every day. There are implications, but we work out some of the logistics, including catering for parties. It's all really f****d up. Thanks Warren! If you're a mime and want to defend your existence, email us ([email protected]). Theme music courtesy of General Patton vs. The X-Ecutioners and Ipecac Recordings.
Limited Appeal - Bingity Bing Bing Poop Sneeze
2024/03/28
We start after a long hiatus with an Urban Legend: sneezing while on the toilet increases poop removal volume by 30-60%, which can decrease the risk of bum and poop cancers. Aren't you glad you know this now? It's all about timing! We discuss what coarseness of pepper is best for provoking a bowel clearing sneeze. But what if you poop too much? Then we discover that Bing can manufacture a superficially impressive description of a hypothetical Limited Appeal podcast in the same style as your scribe (ahem), but with a tiny amount of the effort. Turns out that Bing's topic, title, and description were actually formulaic and quite poor. Some offense. Feel free to write us, Bing, and contest our assessment of your work ([email protected]). Theme music courtesy of General Patton vs. The X-Ecutioners and Ipecac Recordings.
Limited Appeal - Def Bird 2000
2024/01/26
We hope you will enjoy listening to this episode! Back in the day, I guess. Nope, that doesn't really work, does it? T-Bone heard somewhere that birds can regenerate damaged hearing. It's not clear if we're talking about birds from rock concerts or those near other loud birds. But whatever the cause, it's quite cool they might give us clues for regenerative human hearing! Whether this leads to infinite numbers of heads remains unclear. If you think there's a topological difference between a water cup and a flatworm, let us know via email ([email protected]). Theme music courtesy of General Patton vs. The X-Ecutioners and Ipecac Recordings.
Limited Appeal - Celebrity t**s: the movie
2023/11/10
We have a new contest! This is "Who's That Bird: Celebrity Edition", in which Warren will play the sound of a celebrity and the rest of us need to guess who it is. The celebrity is probably not a bird, and may not even be making bird noises, but you'll have to listen to be sure. Warren patiently explains this multiple times, and even so we're not very sure how this works. Spoiler alert: do you know your celebrity entomologists? Or is this a clever diversion to throw you off the piste? Ha! Haha. If you are Hoss and have started listening again after a few years, let us know by email ([email protected]). Theme music courtesy of General Patton vs. The X-Ecutioners and Ipecac Recordings.
