Additive Free | Galatians 2:1-10
2026/10/19
How do we preserve the gospel’s power? Instead of adding to it, we find that keeping its simplicity is the key to being faithful to God’s calling. In this message, Pastor Jared Saavedra shows how the message of freedom through Jesus Christ was approved by the apostles and can still work in you today. “Here let us observe that when justification or salvation is ascribed to works or sacraments, the truth of the gospel gives place, and falsehood comes in the room.” —William Perkins
My Life Is a Witness of the Gospel | Galatians 1:11-24
2026/10/12
Paul's testimony in Galatians 1 reminds us that a servant of God is one whose life has been transformed by grace. We should live in such a way that those who know us see the work of God in us and give glory to Him. Our goal is not to draw attention to ourselves, but to make the greatness of God's grace known.” "The glory of God is a silver thread which must run through all our actions.” --Thomas Watson
Distorted Gospel, Distorted Life | Galatians 1:1-10
2026/10/05
Not every message called “the gospel” is the true gospel. Paul opens Galatians with a warning: when the gospel is distorted, everything is affected—including how we live. The gospel of grace is not something we can redefine, add to, or subtract from without serious consequences. Join us as we begin our new series, “Justified: The Gospel of Grace According to Galatians,” and discover why getting the gospel right matters eternally. They were removed from Christ; not that they entirely rejected Christianity, but that the corruption of their doctrines was such as to leave them nothing more than an imaginary Christ.” --John Calvin
Without Hindrance | Acts 28:17-31
2026/09/28
As the book of Acts closes with Paul's ministry in Rome, we might be tempted to think of this phase of ministry as ineffective. But Pastor Jared Saavedra shares in this message how the rejection of the Jews provides an open door to ministry all over the world and fulfills God's promises. “The stumbling of the Jews was not attended with the result of their utter and final ruin, but was the occasion of facilitating the progress of the Gospel among the Gentiles.” —Charles Hodge
God Will Get You There | Acts 28:1-16
2026/09/21
“God’s word can be trusted because God can be trusted. The only thing one does not know is when God will accomplish his will.” --Darrell Bock God’s promises don’t always unfold according to our timing or expectations. In Acts we have seen Paul survive and encountered circumstances he never could have planned. Yet through it all, God is faithfully moving Paul toward Rome, exactly where He promised he would go. In this message, we’ll see how God provides, protects, and works through unexpected people and circumstances to accomplish His purposes. Whatever obstacles stand in the way, God will get you there.
Saved to Save Others | Acts 27:27-44
2026/09/14
Scripture directs us to act toward other people such that we show them preference in honor before ourselves, so that we genuinely devote ourselves to looking out for their interests.” — John Calvin In Acts 27:27–44, a life-threatening storm exposes two very different responses: some people desperately try to save themselves, while Paul and Julius work to save others. What does your response to life’s storms reveal about your priorities? What does it mean that God has saved us—not merely for ourselves, but to be used by Him for the good of others? Join us as we discover how God can use ordinary people, to bring life, hope, and help to others.
Travel Mercies | Acts 27:1-26
2026/09/07
"The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore." —Psalm 121:7-8 In dire situations, God remains firmly in control. And He demonstrates this not only by protecting His people but using crises to point others to Him. In this message from Pastor Jared Saavedra, we observe how God used Paul to reveal Himself during a fraught and ill-advised voyage to Rome in Acts 27.
Your Beliefs on Trial | Acts 25:23–26:32
2026/08/31
“A faith that does not influence a man’s practice is not worthy of the name.” —J. C. Ryle What we believe matters, but genuine faith is demonstrated by how we live. Our beliefs are put on trial when circumstances challenge us, when obedience becomes costly, and when we are called to stand for what we know to be true. In this message, we will consider what it looks like to put our faith into action. Like Paul, we are called not only to believe the truth about Christ, but to live boldly, faithfully, and obediently in light of that truth, regardless of the circumstances we face.
Bound for a Purpose | Acts 25:1-22
2026/08/24
“The chain was not a token of weakness, but rather of a greater power.” John Chrysostom In Acts 25, Paul is physically bound and facing continued opposition, yet his circumstances cannot prevent God's purpose for his life. What appears to be a setback is actually moving Paul one step closer to Rome and another opportunity to proclaim Christ. His chains restricted his freedom, but they did not restrict his calling. This message challenges us to trust that even when our circumstances limit us, God can still use us for His purposes and His glory.
