In hour one we'll go over some of the news coming out about the formation of the new AKLEG Senate majority coalition. The biggest news is that Bert Stedman is out of Finance and that is gonna have some interesting ramifications. We'll also talk (just a bit) about the national situation and how we make it through. Then in hour two we'll chat with Rodney Dial from the Ketchikan Gateway Borough about his thoughts on the actual reason why the State pays so much on per capita basis.

The 10-15 day wait begins as we see what the preliminary results of yesterdays elections look like for the State and the Country. We'll break it down race by race and we'll also take some calls from you to see what your thoughts are on the early outlook.

Today's election day and we have the Weekly Top 3 from Brad Keithley from Alaskans for Sustainable Budgets. This weeks Topics: The huge disconnect in reading through the campaign positions and stories on both the right and left; What the fiscally conservative agenda is for this coming session. Part 1: The first wave (the $1+ billion "surplus"); Part 2: The second wave (defined benefits, increased BSA, constitutional amendments for school funding, PF single account). Then in hour two I'll recap with some of my thoughts and final say on elections stuff and then we'll finish up the show with Chris Story from Homer who'll come in and give us our weekly life coaching lesson.

We're one day from the big day! Today we have our final 2 candidates for office coming in for discussions. In hour one we'll talk with Barbara Haney who's running for state house in the Interior. Then in hour two we'll chat with Heath Smith who's running for State Senate down on the Lower Peninsula.

Today we've got a full first hour with writer David Codrea who writes for Ammoland, Firearms News and WarOnGuns.com. We'll discuss some of the latest developments out there including Wi-Fi detection, Poland's move to arm citizens and more. Then in hour two we've got a surprise visit from Senator Dan Sullivan. We're sure to bend the convo around to the 2nd at some point during the conversation. Finally we'll finish up with Willie Waffle for our weekend entertainment review.

Full show today with hour one being our discussion with departing Senator Robb Myers from Senate District Q in the Interior. We'll have a wide ranging discussion about the state of the election as well as where he thinks the state is headed in the future. In hour two we'll chat with Rep Sarah Vance who's running for re-election on the southern Kenai peninsula.

In hour one today we chat with Aimee Moore, candidate for State House out of Fairbanks. We'll talk about why she's running and what her vision is for the future of the State. Then in hour two we'll get a chance to talk with Rep Nick Begich. We'll talk about his first term and what he wants to do moving forward for the State of Alaska in Congress.

That includes the outside groups that are backing a slew of fringe candidates to try and upset the regular contenders, some ballot initiatives you may not know about and what's happening at the Alaska judicial council. We'll also open up the phone lines and talk about any topic you may want to throw in about.

In hour one today we chat with David Haeg about the problems with Alaska's Grand Juries. We'll also talk about some of the campaigns pushing fringe candidates. Then in hour two we'll visit with Ryan Sheldon who's running for State Senate in the MatSu.

In hour one today we'll talk about the problem that Alaska faces now that the ATF has rescinded the NFA requirement for mufflers and shortys. Rep Kevin McCabe has been writing about this and he'll be on for the whole first hour to discuss the changes required to let us exercise our rights in peace. Then in hour two we'll hit a few headlines from around the country and then finish up with Willie Waffle for our weekend entertainment and movie/streaming review.

Today for the majority of hour one we'll be chatting with candidate for US House Bill Hill. We'll get his story and talk about how he would do things differently in Congress. Then in hour two we'll get our weekly visit with Ben Carpenter, the host of OversightLIVE.
