Episode 86 – The Eraser
2026/07/27
Hard to believe but it’s been 20 years since the release of Thom Yorke’s debut solo record, The Eraser! We chat about its legacy, where we were and how we felt when we first heard it, and how it was made/pulled from Thom’s anxious mind. Also, we have a hefty news pile filled with items like Hamlet Hail to Thief moving to London, the mysterious cancellation of the Motion Picture House in Chicago, Ed’s ethereal new song, a blunt but entertaining interview, and a gorgeous cover that ISN’T Creep for once.
Episode 85 – Obrigado
2026/06/08
Open your ears and heart, Ed’s second solo album, Blue Morpho, is finally here! We discuss how different it is from his first record, Earth, and all of the most unexpected and beautiful moments. Also, we watched the accompanying short film and talk about Ed’s serene walk through a Welsh forest. The newspile has plenty of goodies, including a brief interview with Thom and Stanley about their Venetian art show, a charming speech from an unexpected pop star, and Thom performing a surprising cover with his old buddy, Flea. Happy 25th birthday Amnesiac! We’ll never forget about you.
Episode 84 – Follow Me Around
2026/05/25
The day has finally arrived: the Kid A Mnesia Exhibition is now IRL. We experienced the Motion Picture House right here in Brooklyn NY with our immersive theater expert and friend of the show, Andrew Lazarow. Find out what it was like to step into the artwork and demonic vibes of Kid A and Amnesiac. Is it worth buying a ticket? Should you be sober when you go? Will you cry? Join us on the journey years in the making. Also, the newspile is hefty with more Ed interviews, a Jonny interview that is both fascinating and frustrating, a mysterious art show in Venice, and HUGE news regarding Mr Thomas Edward Yorke. This episode is tuned to 432 Hz to heal your body and soul.
Episode 83 – Blue Morpho
2026/04/20
Our predictions have come true: Ed is finally releasing his second solo album, Blue Morpho! We chat about the lush lead single and the multitude of interesting interviews he’s given thus far. We also watched the fantastic feature length concert film, Thom Yorke at (not inside) the Sydney Opera House. Plus, we discuss the Motion Picture House --the upcoming tour of the KID A MNESIA exhibition IRL-- and what people are saying about its mysterious debut at Coachella.
Episode 82 – Myxomatosis
2026/03/17
It’s our first episode of 2026 and we're starting the year off right by seeing the premier all-female Radiohead cover band, Labiahead. We saw them perform live and have plenty to say about their raucous and entertaining performance. We’ve also got a giant mixed up pile of news to get through including how Radiohead pulled off their recent tour technically, Thom guesting on Flea’s very first solo record, another illuminating and frustrating interview with Jonny plus one of his compositions used in the most unexpected “film”, the internet scouring government records for LP10 clues, a curious broadcast from their YouTube channel, and much much more!
Episode 81 – Sit Down. Stand Up.
2025/12/31
2025 has come to an end and so has Radiohead’s tour through Europe and the UK. We recap the highlights and decide which setlists were our favorites (not an easy task). Was the tour a success? Will they play again? Who got in the most steps on stage? Also, we dig through the newspile and chat about the return of Nigel’s From the Basement live music series, a new/old video of Backdrifts, a charming Thom and Stanley interview, Jonny going into depth about the process of making his fantastic One Battle After Another score, and another Radiohead Shakespeare project. Plus, we talk about our favorite non-Radiohead music of the year and our predictions for 2026. Happy New Year!
Episode 80 – In Limbo
2025/11/24
Radiohead has begun their first tour in 7 years but we want to talk about something that happened BEFORE it even started. They did their only pre-tour interview with the Times and there is A LOT to discuss. Why has it taken so long for them to get back on the road? Which song did Ed valiantly protect during the OK Computer sessions? Will Thom play in Israel again? Also, some interesting tidbits in the newspile like Radiohead showing up in Rolling Stone’s Best Songs of the 21st century, them co-signing an open letter against touts in the UK, another Jonny film score announcement, plus a Creep cover to end all Creep covers (we hope).
Episode 79 – One Battle After Another
2025/10/06
Jonny’s got a brand new score! We saw PT Anderson’s new film, One Battle After Another, and we have plenty to talk about. We discuss our favorite scenes and tracks and how it ranks amongst Jonny’s other film scores. Beware: many spoilers ahead! We talk more about Radiohead’s upcoming tour and create a deeply chaotic, dream setlist that you will either love or hate. Also, we chat about Radiohead’s mysterious appearance on the Coachella lineup plus a re-release of the charity album that kicked off the OK Computer recording session.
Episode 78 – Backdrifts
2025/09/12
It’s really happening! Radiohead has announced a fall/winter tour in the UK and Europe! We look at what we can expect from this short residency tour and the complicated feelings we have surrounding it. Will they bring back Clive? Will there be new songs? How many instruments will Jonny play? In turn, we talk in depth about their recent surprise release, Hail to the Thief (Live Recordings 2003-2009) and how it’s a great representation of the cathartic energy and urgent themes of the record. Sime also does some sleuthing regarding the only other live album they’ve released and why one song may not be what it seems. Plus, we do a fun quiz about Radiohead’s tour history brought to you by Setlist.fm.
Episode 77 – Let Down
2025/09/04
Since we can’t make our way to Oxford for Thom and Stan’s art exhibition, we found the next best thing: an “immersive” exhibit presented by Rolling Stone magazine about rock n roll culture throughout the decades. Luckily Radiohead is featured extensively but was it worth it? What did we learn and did it take us on a journey? How does it compare to the Kid Amnesiac Digital Exhibition? We try to answer these questions with our special guest and immersive experience professional, Andrew Lazarow. He also tells us all about the familiar way he became a Radiohead fan and the shocking amount of times he’s seen them live. Let’s not forget the newspile, which is full of stories like Thom’s “new” tv show theme song, an intriguing Tall Tales coin hunt, Tom Skinner’s upcoming jazz record, swirling Radiohead tour rumors, and Sime’s favorite song finally getting its due.
Episode 76 – Tall Tales
2025/05/20
Tall Tales is out and we’ve got tons to say about it! We go track by track and discuss our early thoughts. Where does this fall amongst Thom’s solo work? How did Thom and Mark Pritchard work remotely to create such a fascinating electronic-ish album? Which songs are highlights and which song is so divisive that we both have very differing opinions on it? We also got to see the accompanying film on the big screen and we discuss the surreal and captivating imagery made by artist Jonathan Zawada. In addition, we have a substantial newspile with items like Radiohead songs being performed sumptuously by a full orchestra in the UK, the many reviews of Hamlet Hail to the Thief, and a frustrating statement from Jonny regarding his cancelled shows with Dudu Tassa.
Episode 75 – Talk Show Host
2025/04/21
In our continuing anniversary coverage of The Bends, we speak with Randee Dawn, a journalist and author who 30 years ago spent several days with Radiohead on the road right after they released their sophomore album. She regales us with stories of what they were like back then, before they became the critical darlings they are today. Are they really nice boys? Who is the dad of the group? What was worrying Thom? It’s an illuminating conversation about a band who at the time was on the precipice of something great! Also, we have a mini-newspile where we discuss Radiohead’s all but announced fall tour, the first trailer for PT Anderson’s new film with intriguing new music from Jonny, what legendary minimalist composer Steve Reich thinks of Jonny and Radiohead, and Thom’s unexpected involvement in Hamlet Hail to the Thief. Randee Dawn’s new book, The Only Song Worth Singing, is out now wherever books are sold!
Episode 74 – The Bends
2025/03/24
Thirty years ago Radiohead, desperate and anxious to shed their one-hit wonder label, dropped their second album, the Bends. What is its legacy? What creative seeds were planted? Just how drunk was Thom when they recorded Planet Telex? We explore these questions and more as we delve into what makes the Bends so unique and what people were saying then and now about their sophomore record. We also discuss the producer John Leckie’s illuminating talk about his experience with the boys recording the album. And as always, we dive into quite a hefty newspile with stories about Radiohead’s curious legal filing, Colin having a chat with Rolling Stone, Ed silently protesting AI copyright law, the announcement of Thom’s new album with Mark Pritchard and plenty more.
Episode 73 – Attenzione!
2024/12/25
It’s the holiday season and we have a special gift from a mysterious internet elf: OK Outtakes, a collection of even more unheard songs and snippets from the OK Computer recording sessions. There are brand new songs, curious versions of old favorites, plus the boys having a laugh! As always, we dig through the newspile and discuss an extortionately priced edition of Colin’s photo book, a lengthy and varied playlist from the Smile guys, and our favorite non-the Smile music of 2024. Happy holidays!
Episode 72 – Back in the Game
2024/12/16
Thom has finished his solo jaunt across Oceania and Eastern Asia and naturally, we have tons to talk about. Which songs stood out and which old songs did he breathe new life into? We review the tour stats and our favorite highlights of his “new kind of solo show”. Also, the newspile is dense with items like an interesting interview with the “director” of the Nosferatu Amnesiac/Kid A sync, a spooky song from Thom’s wife Dajana, a fashion collab between Thom and a Japanese designer, Roger Waters opening up a public feud with Thom, three very different Radiohead covers, and plenty more.

Great Fancast
I am not anywhere near as familiar with the band as these two, and it still makes me laugh. Fun conversations and silly fandom, good times.
