A Prayer That Saved A Nation | 2 Kings 19:14-19, 35 | Dr. Joe Arthur

The sermon contrasts the desperate prayer of King Hezekiah with the superior access believers have in Christ to find deliverance from modern threats. It highlights how Hezekiah turned to God when military and political power failed, resulting in divine intervention that saved his nation. The preacher emphasizes that while Hezekiah could only approach the Holy of Holies, Christians possess the indwelling presence of God through the New Covenant. This theological advantage provides a profound sense of security and hope amidst contemporary societal challenges. Ultimately, the message calls for faithful prayer to experience God's sovereign power in the present day.
