A recent survey of autistic adults found that nearly half don't feel it's safe to disclose their autism at work. But at one nonprofit in Port Washington, that concern is nonexistent. Fifteen years ago, Patrick Bardsley, started Spectrum Designs, a custom apparel company, with just two employees and a sewing machine in a barn.
