Description
The 9941 Podcast is a weekly faith conversation hosted by Granger Smith, Tyler Smith, Parker Smith, and Anthony Lay, rooted in the words of Jesus from Luke 15:4 - “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it?” That is the mission of this podcast: to share the Gospel and pursue the one who feels lost or far from God. Through honest conversation, Scripture, and real-life stories, The 9941 Podcast points hearts back to Christ and the joy found in redemption. New episodes release every Monday morning at 6:00 a.m.

Why Trying Harder to Forgive Never Works
2026/10/19
Why is forgiveness so hard—and what does it have to do with a fig tree? In Episode 41 of the 9941 PODCAST, Amber joins the crew for a conversation about biblical forgiveness, faith in God, and what it means to love your enemies.
Starting in Mark 11, we explore Jesus cursing the fig tree, cleansing the temple, and teaching about faith that moves mountains. Through Luke 6 and Romans 5, we connect those passages to everyday struggles: forgiving people who hurt us, showing kindness without expecting anything back, and trusting Christ instead of relying on our own effort.
Forgiveness is fruit that grows from faith in the One who has forgiven us. Join us as we talk about surrender, spiritual growth, and how the gospel changes the way we treat others—with some laughs and plenty of sandwich analogies along the way.
Subscribe to the 9941 PODCAST for weekly conversations about Jesus, the Bible, and living out your faith. Have a question? Send it to us at 9941thepodcast.com.

What They Won’t Tell You About The Tesla Robot!
2026/10/12
How should Christians respond to artificial intelligence, humanoid robots, and an uncertain future? In Episode 40 of the 9941 PODCAST, Granger, AntMan, Tyler, and Parker explore AI and faith, Tesla Optimus robots, and what advancing technology could mean for work, relationships, and human purpose.
With humor, honest debate, and a biblical perspective, the guys discuss artificial general intelligence (AGI), automation, and the promise—and potential cost—of a world where machines do the work. Looking at Genesis, Ephesians, and the Tower of Babel, they ask: Is work part of God’s good design? Can technology remove the effects of the fall? And where should believers place their hope when the future feels unpredictable?
The conversation returns to the gospel of Jesus Christ, God’s sovereignty, and the importance of knowing Scripture and belonging to a local church. Join this week’s discussion about Christianity and technology, finding purpose beyond convenience, and facing the future with faith.

The Lie You Believe About Rest!
2026/10/05
What does the Bible actually say about rest, work, the Sabbath, and how Christians should treat Sunday?
This week on the 9941 Podcast, Granger Smith, AntMan, Parker, and Tyler wrestle through what it means to honor the Lord’s Day in a culture that never seems to slow down. From Sunday youth sports and missing church to the biblical command not to neglect gathering with other believers, the guys ask a difficult question: Have Christians become too casual about Sundays?
But the conversation goes deeper than simply asking whether Christians should work on Sunday. What is true rest? Is scrolling Instagram, watching Netflix, taking a vacation, or doing nothing actually giving us the rest we’re looking for? Or have we confused entertainment and escape with genuine rest? Jesus says, “Come to me,” and the guys explore what it looks like to find rest in Christ through Scripture, prayer, worship, and time with the Lord.
They also turn the conversation toward the biblical value of work and Colossians 3:23: “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” Rather than living for the weekend, the next vacation, or retirement, what would change if Christians viewed both their work and their rest as opportunities to glorify God?
This is an honest conversation about the Sabbath, Sunday worship, Christian work ethic, burnout, entertainment, spiritual disciplines, youth sports, church attendance, and ultimately finding the kind of rest that can only be found in Jesus Christ.

Stop Baptizing People!
2026/09/28
Does baptism save you? Should you get baptized again if you were baptized before truly coming to faith in Jesus? In Episode 38 of the 9941 PODCAST, Granger Smith and the guys discuss baptism, salvation, and what it means to be born again.
Through personal testimonies and a conversation grounded in Scripture, they explore believer’s baptism, the difference between conversion and “rededicating your life,” and the danger of finding false assurance in a childhood baptism. They also discuss why baptism belongs within the local church and how discipleship, accountability, and church membership help Christians grow in their faith.
What should churches consider before baptizing someone? What if you’re afraid to share your faith publicly? And how does baptism point to the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ? This week’s conversation brings those questions back to the gospel: salvation is by grace through faith in Christ, and baptism is an act of obedience that follows.
Listen in, consider your own testimony, and join the conversation.

You Might Hate Me For This!
2026/09/21
What does “faith over fear” really mean—and who are we putting our faith in? In Episode 37 of the 9941 PODCAST, Granger and the guys explore biblical faith, the fear of God, and the difference between trusting Jesus Christ and simply believing everything will work out.
From popular Christian slogans to sharing the gospel in everyday conversations, the guys discuss repentance, salvation, and how fear of what others think can keep us from speaking up. Granger shares an honest story about a missed opportunity to share his faith, while an encounter with a joyful delivery driver sparks a conversation about living for God’s glory wherever He has placed you.
Drawing from Psalms, Proverbs, 1 Peter, and Galatians 5, this week’s conversation explores Christian joy, the fruit of the Spirit, and why our hope needs a foundation deeper than positive thinking.
Listen in, open your Bible, and join the conversation: When you say “faith over fear,” what do you mean?

The Dating Advice Nobody Wants to Hear
2026/09/14
What does Christian dating actually look like in a culture that treats relationships, sex and marriage very differently than Scripture does? This week, the guys start with Tyler’s unexpected history on The Bachelorette and what really happens behind the scenes on reality dating shows. That conversation quickly turns into something much deeper: dating apps, the role of the local church in relationships, dating with the intention of marriage, the gift of singleness and whether Christians should approach dating differently than the rest of the world. They also get practical about one of the hardest parts of Christian dating: purity. How far is too far? What boundaries should dating couples have? What about long engagements, living together before marriage or dating someone who doesn’t follow Christ? Instead of asking, “How close to the line can I get?” the guys wrestle with what it looks like to actually desire holiness and trust that God’s way is better. But this conversation isn’t coming from four guys claiming they’ve always gotten it right. They close with the gospel and a reminder that conviction isn’t an invitation to clean yourself up before coming to Jesus. Christ came to save sinners. For anyone who recognizes themselves in this conversation, the answer is not shame. It’s repentance, forgiveness and running to the Savior who has already paid for sin at the cross. Christian dating, singleness, marriage, sex, purity and grace. There’s a lot packed into this one.

The Lie I Believed About God!
2026/09/07
What if the beliefs you’ve always accepted are quietly keeping you from truly knowing God?
In this episode of the 9941 Podcast, Granger, AntMan, Parker & Tyler unpack Poison in the Well, Granger’s new book examining the toxic beliefs that once kept him from the living water of Jesus. They discuss cultural Christianity, false assurance, the sinner’s prayer, belonging to a healthy church, reading Scripture, the evidence of genuine faith, hope in suffering, and why every spiritual distortion ultimately begins with a view of God that is too small.
It’s an honest, challenging conversation about the difference between merely believing in God and truly believing God—and how the gospel transforms everything.

The Thing You Can’t Live Without
2026/08/31
Can good thing like your career, ministry, family, hobbies, or even serving God, become idols? In this episode of the 9941 Podcast, Granger Smith and the crew explore how to recognize when a God-given gift begins competing with God for your identity, security, and attention.
Through honest stories about country music, pastoring, football, money, grief, and family, the group shares practical warning signs of idolatry and explains how prayer, Scripture, accountability, and an open-handed posture can help keep priorities in order. Drawing from the rich young ruler, Zacchaeus, Psalm 61, and Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, they discuss what it means to surrender control and sincerely pray, “Not my will, but Yours.”
If you’ve ever wondered whether something important in your life has become too important, this biblical conversation offers encouragement for finding freedom, protecting your relationship with God, and placing your identity in Christ.

Can Christians Take Steroids?
2026/08/24
What does it mean to age faithfully in a culture obsessed with staying young? This week on the 9941 Podcast, Granger Smith, AntMan, Tyler, and Parker explore testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), gray hair, modern medicine, body stewardship, and the Christian response to aging and mortality.
Drawing from Romans 8 and 2 Corinthians 4, the guys discuss matters of conscience, caring for the body without idolizing youth, and allowing life’s limitations to deepen our dependence on Christ. The conversation ultimately asks a bigger question: Whether facing sickness or health, success or struggle, how can Christians remain faithful with everything God has entrusted to them?Follow the show: Instagram - https://www.Instagram.com/9941thepodcast Facebook - https://www.Facebook.com/9941thepodcast YouTube - https://www.YouTube.com/@9941ThePodcast Online - https://www.9941ThePodcast.com Shop - https://yeeyee.com/collections/faith

They’re Watching Christians!
2026/08/17
How can Christians move from simply hearing God’s Word on Sunday to living it out every day?
In Episode 32 of the 9941 Podcast, Granger, Parker, and the team examine how churches can overcome a consumer mindset and help believers become doers of the Word. They discuss the importance of biblical preaching, genuine conversion, the work of the Holy Spirit, and a clear understanding of what it means to be a Christian and belong to a local church.
The conversation also explores why church health isn’t measured by attendance or numerical growth—and why loving, serving, and sharing life with fellow believers may be a more powerful witness than another organized outreach program. From meeting practical needs to building relationships across generations, this episode offers a thoughtful, biblical perspective on Christian fellowship, discipleship, community outreach, and putting faith into action.Follow the show: Instagram - https://www.Instagram.com/9941thepodcast Facebook - https://www.Facebook.com/9941thepodcast YouTube - https://www.YouTube.com/@9941ThePodcast Online - https://www.9941ThePodcast.com Shop - https://yeeyee.com/collections/faith

Can Christians Smoke Weed?
2026/08/10
A listener writes in struggling to quit marijuana, torn between wanting to stop and feeling like she can't. Granger, AntMan, Tyler, and Parker dig into what the Bible actually says about being "sober minded," the difference between medical use and using a substance to numb pain, and how to tell if someone needs encouragement or the gospel.
The conversation moves through Romans 12:2, Matthew 25, faith versus modern psychedelic "healing" trends, and practical steps for breaking an addiction, including accountability, replacement habits, and leaning on the local church. A real, unfiltered conversation about faith, addiction, and trusting God when obedience feels hard.

2026/07/20
