Whenever we take on a project it always seems so much bigger when it is in your head than on paper.  Putting it on paper frees your brain up to work on specific tasks instead of worrying about it all. I have recently started to see a lot of benefits to starting the day by thinking about how I want the day to play out and what I need to do to make it play out that way.  Call it the daily pre-mortem.  I think it helps.  Try it. Next time you want to blame someone else for being ____ ask yourself - what did I do about it?  We are quick to blame others when we could have done more or done things differently.  It's often partially our own fault, more than we would like to admit. Admit it and be better.
