Hello to the Future - Michigan 52, UTEP 17
2026/09/24
35-point win to cover the spread. 28-0 3rd quarter. Nearly 100 yards receiving for Marsh and Buchanan in ~3 quarters of work. Just how we drew it up. On this week's episode, we talk about how much to blame ourselves as fans for the first half, get excited about the future (hello Tariq Boney and Tommy Carr!), and preview the Big Ten opener against Iowa. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Maybe There's a Season Left After All - Michigan 17, Oklahoma 10
2026/09/18
A win. A real, honest to god, no NCAA committees and appeals process needed win. And it's a big one - 17-10 over Oklahoma. The defense looks elite. Bryce looks pretty good. And maybe we still have a season to dream about?
On this week's episode, we tip our caps to Jason Beck and Bryce Underwood for a masterful turnaround, debate how much we can read into the d-line's dominance, and revisit our season preview (defense up, offense down, squint and maybe a late round playoff team?)

I think we won the game, right? - Michigan 13, Western Michigan 12
2026/09/08
Another week, another win for Michigan. We can say that right? Or maybe we should start by having everyone pause the podcast for 1 second before starting. On this week's episode, we try to remember that this is just a game that's supposed to be fun. We also hope for a Bryce Renaissance, discuss what it would take to upset Oklahoma, and debate the ethics of storming the field. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Still the Best - 2026 Season Preview
2026/09/03
It's been quite the 9 months. The run D vs. OSU. Sherrone. The interceptions vs. Texas.
But a new era is arriving, and with it, the greatest season returns. On this week's episode, we look forward to the Coach Whitt era, dream about what it would look like to have a passing game, and wonder if we can find enough in Bryce and the front 7 to compete for a title. Above all, we get excited for another season of Michigan Football.

Once More Unto the Breach - Michigan 45, Maryland 20
2025/11/26
Another week, another win for Michigan - and Will, at long last, we are here again. On Saturday, the snow will fall, the skies will darken, and the Maize and Blue will take on the Scarlet and Gray with a trip to the Big Ten title game, the playoffs, and a lifetime-worth’s of bragging rights on the line. On this week's episode, we preview our keys for The Game:
Win the lines of scrimmageDon't blitz and limit big plays on defenseSteady diet of Jordan Marshall with a mixture of Bryce runs and a few big passes to MarshHope for snowSee how OSU holds up to adversity if we make them nervous in the second half
We also thank all the Michigan men from the past 4 years for turning this rivalry around and making football a lot more fun than it was during the Dark Ages. Who's got it better than us?

Why do I watch sports? Michigan 24, Northwestern 22
2025/11/17
Another week, another win for Michigan. 24-22 over Northwestern in a game that really was the best of times, the worst of times. I laughed, cried, swore at the TV, and nearly swore off fandom before exhaling deeply and trying to move on with my day all in one 3 hour window. On this week's episode, we celebrate 95% of what we saw on Saturday, especially the ascendence of Andrew Marsh, we pray for Jordan Marshall's shoulder, and we peak ahead to Thanksgiving weekend. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Paul Stays Home - Michigan 31, MSU 20
2025/10/30
Another week, another win for Michigan. 31-20 over Michigan State in a game that Will, 4 days later, doesn’t have a lot that stands out. But it is a rivalry win, it does mean that Paul is staying in Ann Arbor, and Michigan still maybe has a path to a championship.
On this week's episode we discuss:
The ascendence of Jimmy Rolder and Jyaire HillHow nice it is to have a good run game and half time adjustments that workRoad BryceHow we can get paid $54m to not workOur rankings for the current job openings (we are available for LSU if they want to pay us $54m to not work)The abundance of night games this year and their problems for parents of young kids Hosted on Acast. Redemption? - Michigan 24, Washington 7
2025/10/22
Another week, another win for Michigan. 24-7 over Washington. Jordan Marshall looks like Mike Hart. Bryce is a couple dropped passes away from a JJ-type stat line. Andrew Marsh looks like the WR we were promised. And the defense has a few wobbles, but man it looks a whole lot better than last week.
On this week's episode we discuss:
The responsible ways to behave after lossesWhether Wink can save his job with a strong end of the seasonThe prospect of a legit offense in 26 and beyondThe wisdom of night games in Ann Arbor in late fallOur strong desire for Michigan to beat Sparty on Saturday Hosted on Acast. Hot, fun, and memorable (at least for us) - Michigan 24, Wisconsin 10
2025/10/09
Another week, another win for Michigan. Bryce throws for 270. We have a receiver go for over 100. Haynes keeps his 100 yard streak alive. The defense basically shuts down Wisconsin after the first drive. Nick is there with Dad, Jeremy, and Dalia for her first trip to the Big House.
On this week's episode we break down a fun day in Ann Arbor, call for more deep shots to McCaulley, and preview a big test at USC this weekend.

Sack Party - Michigan 30, Nebraska 27
2025/09/26
It wasn’t always pretty or relaxing, but it was a road win in a hostile environment against an undefeated team who might have one of the top 3 QBs in the country.
On this week's episode, we break down a thrilling win in Lincoln, tip our cap to Chip Lindsey, question Wink's third down approach, and debate the ethics of drinking apple cider when you're playing a team whose colors are red.

Are We Back On? - Michigan 63, Central Michigan 3
2025/09/16
63 points is nice. Bryce running for 100+ is nice. The O-line paving CMU for almost 400 yards on the ground is nice. Biff Poggi making Batman references is nice (even if Will has issues with it). The question is: does any of this extend past Central Michigan?
On this week's episode, we try to live in the moment of a very enjoyable Saturday. We also, debate what it means moving forward and preview a big game in Lincoln on Saturday.

Please Not Again - Oklahoma 24, Michigan 13
2025/09/11
These a lot more fun when we get to start with another week, another win for Michigan. This was not one of those weeks. Michigan technically only lost by 11 on the road at night to an SEC team that everyone thinks might be pretty good, but it sure felt worse than that. On this week's episode, we bemoan a tough night in Norman, debate how bad it actually was, and discuss what we hope to see in a get-right game Saturday against Central. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
The Second Coming? - Michigan 34, New Mexico 17
2025/09/03
Bryce looked the part. Marlin Klein did his best Colston Loveland 2.0. Justice Haynes had my almost 2-year-old fist pumping. And the defense was basically what we hoped they'd be. Can they do it again in Norman this week?
On this week's episode, we celebrate the return of football, tip our cap to the offensive game plan, and preview a much stiffer test this week.

The Best Time of the Year - Season Preview 2025
2025/08/29
The leaves are starting to turn, the apples are growing ripe on the vine, and if you wake up on the early side you’ll feel a little hint of a chill in the air. And with the turning of the season comes the most wonderful change of all - on Saturday the crowds will gather, the band will play, and the Maize and Blue will take the field. Welcome to another season of 16 Saturdays.
On this episode, we thank the greats of last year, reminisce on the beautiful two-game season that was, and look forward to 2025. We get hyped about the defense, debate what it would take to get the offense to passable, and offer our predictions on the year to come. Who's got it better than us?

Plant the Flag - Michigan 13, Ohio State 10
2024/12/02
The number of days since OSU last beat Michigan will now officially crest 2000! The Wolverines hold the Buckeyes vaunted $20m offense to 10 total points to make it 4 in a row in the rivalry, winning the biggest upset in our lifetimes. On this week's episode, we offer lots of praise to people who have come under heat this season (good job Wink!), celebrate the 4-0 senior class, and celebrate the act of flag planting. We also discuss what this game means for the Moore era at Michigan and debate whether it will end the Day era in Columbus.
It doesn't get better than this.
