We can’t even begin to imagine what it must have been like for Jesus to come down to Earth. Before time began, Jesus was omnipresent and all-powerful. He personally spoke the cosmos into existence! Trillions of stars were created in a second by one command from His mouth! And Jesus set aside that power and glory to become a human baby. Why would the Son of God make such an incomparable sacrifice? Today, Pastor John will tell us that the answer is love! Jesus loves us so much that He gave up everything! Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of John, chapter 17, as he begins his message, John 17:6-26.

Jesus claimed to be God. There’s zero debate among scholars about that; it’s a certified fact. And there are only 3 possibilities when someone claims to be God. Either He was insane, He was a liar, or He was actually the Son of God! Today, Pastor John will show us that the evidence is clear that Jesus is exactly who He says He is! He is truly and fully God! All of Christianity hinges on this truth. Everything would fall apart if Jesus were a fraud. So take a moment to celebrate that our Lord is divine! Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of John, chapter 17, as he continues his message, John 17:1-5.

It’s very easy to make prayer into a list of demands for God. We say things like, “Lord, give me the money I need for rent this month. Take away this sickness. Fix my coworker’s attitude.” And all of these are good things that God deeply cares about! But prayer can and should be so much more! Today, Pastor John will tell us that the ultimate goal of prayer is to give God glory! When we align our hearts with the Lord’s will, everything else falls into place. How can you pray more selflessly this week? Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of John, chapter 17, as he begins his message, John 17:1-5.

When the company you’ve been with for a decade lays you off, Jesus is with you. When you don’t know where your family’s next meal will come from, Jesus is with you. When you are diagnosed with incurable brain cancer, Jesus is with you. When your spouse runs off with another person, Jesus is with you. When a family member dies, Jesus is with you. Pastor John will tell you today that whatever your situation, Jesus is with you. Turn to Him and find unending peace, joy, and hope! Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of John, chapter 16, as he continues his message, John 16:16-33.

Happiness and joy actually aren’t synonyms. Happiness is dependent on the situation you’re in. If somebody hands you a cookie-dough ice cream cone, you’re happy! But as soon as that dessert is gone, your moment of elation is over. Today, Pastor John will tell you that joy is a gift from God that can’t be taken away! Joy isn’t based on what’s happening around you. You can have joy in prison, while dealing with a severe illness, and even on your deathbed! Because Jesus is the unending source of your joy! Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of John, chapter 16, as he begins his message, John 16:16-33.

Perfection. That’s God’s standard. That’s the “You-must-be-this-tall-to-ride-this-attraction” requirement: Perfection. “Pretty good” doesn’t cut it. Even “almost perfect” isn’t enough! God is completely and utterly holy, so anything that’s not 100% perfect cannot come near Him. Today, Pastor John will remind us of the staggeringly immense blessing of Jesus’s death and resurrection. In Him, we are perfect! Present tense! We can stand before God unafraid because we are clothed in the righteousness of Christ! Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of John, chapter 16, as he continues his message, John 16:1-15.

If you’re like me, you look at everything happening in the world right now and wonder, “Lord, what are you waiting for?” Why hasn’t He come back with the armies of heaven to reveal His glory and take us home to heaven? Today, Pastor John will tell us that the answer is mercy. Every day that God delays the Rapture is an opportunity for repentance. This moment, right now, is the time for everyone to bow their knees before Jesus! So witness boldly! Jesus could come back at any time! Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of John, chapter 16, as he begins his message, John 16:1-15.

When we open up any of the gospels, we immediately see that the world hated Jesus. Both the religious leaders and the pagan rulers sought to kill Jesus, and ultimately they did. God doesn’t promise that this life will be easy for us. He actually promises the opposite — that we’ll face trials and suffering. But Pastor John will remind us today that the Lord is with us in those painful situations! They are opportunities to let His holiness and glory shine! So don’t lose hope when the world hates you! Keep following Jesus! Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of John, chapter 15, as he continues his message, John 15.

When you miss a meal, it’s immediately clear that you’ve done so. It’s not a mystery! You don’t have to wonder if you skipped lunch because your body tells you that you did by making you hungry! Today, Pastor John will show you that choosing not to spend time in God’s Word is like missing a meal! The Bible is food for our souls! Without it, we become spiritually malnourished! So set aside a part of your day just for prayer and time in Scripture! Feast on the Word of God and be filled! Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of John, chapter 15, as he begins his message, John 15.

If you’ve placed your faith in Jesus, you are IN Christ. You are dressed in the righteousness of the Savior and can stand before God without fearing judgment! You are a child of God and have billions of spiritual family members! You have access to Jesus every moment of every day, forever! Today, Pastor John will remind you of these immense blessings and what it means to abide in Christ. Walk in freedom, knowing that the King of Kings is with you wherever you go, empowering you for gospel ministry! Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of John, chapter 14, as he begins his message, John 14:15-31.

One of the most exciting parts of heaven, for me, is knowing that we’ll all get resurrected bodies! We won’t have to eat or sleep anymore. We’ll never get tired. We won’t ever catch the flu again or live with life-altering diseases like cancer and Alzheimer’s. And death will just be a memory! We will never watch a loved one pass away again! In fact, we’ll be reunited with friends and family who died years ago! Today, Pastor John will encourage us to keep holding on, because eternity with Jesus is coming! Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of John, chapter 14, as he continues his message, John 14:1-14.

I don’t know about you, but I have days where I feel like the pressure of life is physically weighing me down. It’s so easy to get overwhelmed by work, school, relationships, health, and everything else that this world throws at us. But today, Pastor John will remind us that Jesus commands us not to let our hearts be troubled! He doesn’t suggest it; He commands it! And He does this because He Himself is the antidote for worry! He always provides exactly what we need! So hold on to hope! Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of John, chapter 14, as he begins his message, John 14:1-14.

If there’s one word that sums up Jesus’s mission and ministry, it’s “love.” The Messiah came down from heaven out of love for the people whom He created. Jesus served others throughout His time on Earth, knowing they could never repay Him, out of love. The Savior even loved us enough to face the cross and God’s wrath in our place! Today, Pastor John will challenge us to live like Jesus, loving sacrificially in every situation and circumstance. The world will know we are Christians by our love! Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of John, chapter 13, as he continues his message, John 13.

The story of Jesus washing the disciples’ feet is one of the most beautifully shocking passages in Scripture. Jesus had every right to command one of His followers to fulfill that lowly role. But instead, He did it Himself out of love and compassion! Today, Pastor John will challenge us to follow the Messiah’s example, laying aside our status and comfort to serve. Like the lowliest slave, we should seek out opportunities to bless others, regardless of what it costs us. If the Son of God did it, so can we! Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of John, chapter 13, as he begins his message, John 13.

At the moment that you place your faith in Jesus, a miraculous exchange happens. All of your sins (past, present, and future) are nailed to the cross, where they will never be used against you again! Simultaneously, the perfect righteousness of Jesus is permanently wrapped around you. Your spiritual bank account goes from terrible debt to overwhelming riches! Today, Pastor John will challenge you to share that simple gospel truth with the people in your life! Bless others with the gift you’ve been given! Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of Romans, chapter 1, as he begins his message, Not Ashamed of the Gospel.
