Joshua - Faithful to His Word // The Wonder-Working God
2026/09/27
Kyle Kauffman | Sept 27 2026
Do you long to see God working in powerful ways in your life and in our world today? The answer to that question is probably obvious. “Of course I do!” In Joshua 3-4 we see God miraculously stopping the Jordan River so that his people can cross on dry ground. It’s easy for us to read accounts like this and either dismiss them as an occurrence of the past (“That’s how God used to work”) or to immediately jump to some way we long to see God do this in our day and our lives (“Why doesn’t He show His power more clearly in my life?”). But these accounts are in the Bible are there first and foremost teach us about God. As we come to understand more about why God did these wonders in the first place, we come to see what impact they are meant to have on our lives today. We also get a glimpse into how God is continuing to work wonders in our lives today even if that doesn’t look quite like what it looked like for the Israelites. And we see how God wants us to respond to the wonders He does – both in scripture and in our lives today.
Joshua - Faithful to His Word // The God Who Saves
2026/09/20
Kyle Kauffman | Sept 20 2026
How often do you consider the fact that God has saved you? Does it still amaze you when you consider the fact that God has saved you? In Joshua 2 we encounter the incredible story of Rahab hiding the Israelite spies to spare their lives and then asking for them to spare her life when God gives them the city of Jericho. It’s a story that displays God’s power to save and His plan to save people from all nations. We see God saving the Israelite spies from the threat of the king of Jericho even as he simultaneously saves Rahab from the threat of his impending judgment on Jericho. In this story we get a glimpse into who God saves, why God saves, how God saves. This story invites us to marvel over God’s salvation even as it also invites us to be a continued part of His plan to save others.

Joshua - Faithful to His Word // Be Strong and Courageous
2026/09/08
Kyle Kauffman | Sept 6 2026
Joshua begins with the greatest change that the young nation of Israel has experienced so far. Their trusted and faithful leader who God used to bring them out of slavery and guide them through the wilderness is dead just as they are about to begin their greatest challenge so far: taking possession of the land God has promised to give them. A new leader whom God has chosen steps into the giant shoes Moses has left behind. Can he continue the legacy of Moses? Will he be successful in leading this people into the promised land? Or will this nation fall apart before it even has a chance to be established? As everything seems to be changing for Joshua and Israel, they are invited to place their confidence not in their leader or in themselves, but in God. Although Moses is dead, the same God who was with Moses and the people, who led them through the wilderness, who provided for their every need, and who promised to bring them into this land, is the God who is still with them in this moment. And He is the same God who is with us today amid all the changing circumstances of our lives. He invites us to place our confidence in Him and to find strength and courage for whatever we are facing today.
Songs of Faith for All of Life // Praising God in Every Season
2026/08/30
Kyle Kauffman | Aug 30 2026
Life in this world can be very chaotic, hard, and painful as we have seen in looking at different Psalms. But life in this world can also be very good, pleasant, and delightful. The Psalms don’t shy away from dealing with the difficulty of life and neither do they shy away from celebrating the goodness of life. Psalm 103 is an anthem to the goodness of God. It reminds us that in the midst of the goodness of this life we are invited to turn to the one who stands behind all that goodness and who is always perfectly good. We are invited to praise Him and give thanks to Him so that he might receive the glory he deserves and we might experience the joy we so deeply long for.
Songs of Faith for All of Life // When Life is Weighed with Guilt
2026/08/23
Kyle Kauffman | Aug 23 2026
You likely know the feeling. We say something, do something, or think something that is sinful. You weight it and know it wasn’t loving to God or to other people. A guilt pierces your conscience and immediately you wish you could take it back. What do you do in that moment? Seek to quickly move on and act like it’s no big deal? Wallow in the guilt and shame of what an awful person you are? God invites us down a much better path when we sin and need forgiveness. We neither have to avoid our sin or dwell in our sin. We can take it to God, confess it to God, and freely receive the forgives Jesus has secured for us. This leads us not to despair and distance in our sin, but to renewed joy and communion with God which gives us strength to continue to live for Him.
Songs of Faith for All of Life // When Life Feels Out of Control
2026/08/16
Josh Stalnaker | Aug 16 2026
Life is, ultimately, out of our control. So, how do we react to this reality? Do we panic and anxiously wait for the next bad thing to happen? Do we react with cynicism towards the world and its troubles? Or do we rest in the power of God as outlined in Psalm 46? The 46th Psalm is a reminder that God is present in the troubles of life and the world. It reminds us that He is our refuge and He is our strength. This Psalm also reveals that God’s power is so great that neither natural disaster nor war should cause us fear. As we look to this Psalm, let us live its truth out, that we may be bold in knowing “The Lord of hosts is with us!”
Songs of Faith for All of Life // When Life Feels Dark
2026/08/09
Kyle Kauffman | Aug 9 2026
There are times in life when darkness seems to settle over our hearts and minds like a thundercloud over a playground. Where there used to be laughter, joy, and life, there now only seems to be silence, sadness, and loneliness. This darkness may come because of some specific situation we are facing. It may come because of some spiritual reality. Or it may come because of some physical and biological reality. Often, there’s probably intermixed pieces of all three. The darkness may come in waves, breaking at times, or it may come as a massive flood that doesn’t seem to let up. It may last of r just a short time or it may be a season that lingers on without an end in sight. What do we do when life feels dark and hopeless? How can we respond when the weight of life seems too great to bear? How do we turn to God in the moments when God can so easily feel distant or even absent? Psalm 77 gives us a faithful companion to help us walk through the darkness in relationship to God as we continue to seek Him and trust in in the midst of the darkness.
Songs of Faith for All of Life // When Life is Fearful
2026/08/02
Kyle Kauffman | Aug 2 2026
There are all sorts of things that can make us fearful and anxious. There are internal struggles that make us feel anxious as we wrestle with sin and weakness. There are external struggles that make us anxious as we face all sorts of difficulties and challenges in a world broken by sin. There are real threats that make us anxious – illness, wayward children, financial struggles, wars, things on the news, etc. And then there are also possible threats that make us anxious – fearing rejection, loss of job, the worst-case scenarios, etc. There is no lack of things in this life that may lead us to be fearful and anxious. And those fears and anxieties have been compounded in our internet and social media age where worst case scenarios or our failure to measure up is always simply a swipe away. In the midst of all our fears and anxieties, God invites us to turn to Him. He wants us to come to Him, to trust Him, and to cast our anxieties upon Him. We may be tempted to think that God does not care (especially if the thing that’s causing us anxiety seems small or insignificant). But He does care and He wants us to come to Him with all our cares! When life feels fearful it’s an opportunity to turn to God in trust and experience the peace He can give us.
A Featured Message // Make Your Life Matter

Keith Rohrer | Jul 26 2026
If you’re 14-22, you’re probably thinking about what you want to do with your life and who you want to become. Many people and experiences will influence what you decide. Does God get a say? Would you consider His plans for you if they differed from yours?
Gospel Clarity in a Confusing Culture // Closing Time
2026/07/19
Kyle Kauffman | Jul 19 2026
We do not live in 1st century Corinth like the people Paul was writing to in this letter. We live in 21st century America where there are both surprising similarities and significant differences to the church and culture in 1st century Corinth. We have seen both of those as we’ve walked through this letter. Perhaps one of the greatest and most wonderful similarities is that the church continues today, 2,000 years later, to be an enduring testimony to the grace of God. Whether it is Keystone Church or millions of other biblical churches across the globe, the continued existence and witness of the church is a testimony to the grace of God in the gospel. The gospel gives birth to the church and church exists to display and proclaim the gospel. This is what we find in Paul’s concluding chapter of his letter to the Corinthians and it’s what we continue to be called to live out today as a church.
Gospel Clarity in a Confusing Culture // Equipped to Love
2026/07/12
Kyle Kauffman | Jul 12 2026
1 Corinthians 14 has long been a controversial passage with Christians taking different positions on the gifts described in this passage along with their enduring significance for the church today. While it is important to understand the different positions Christians may take in this area, we can get so caught up in the theological debate that we can forget Paul is calling all of us to use whatever gifts we have been given in a way that builds up the church in dependence on reliance on the Holy Spirit. God gives us spiritual gifts so that we might be equipped to love one another. What does that mean in relation to gifts like prophecy and tongues as well as in relation to all spiritual gifts? How should that shape how we think about and exercise spiritual gifts? Join us this Sunday as we explore these questions in looking together at 1 Corinthians 14.
Gospel Clarity in a Confusing Culture // The Greatness of Love
2026/07/05
Brandon Fisher | Jul 5 2026
1 Corinthians 13 may be the most famous chapter in the Bible. It’s all about love. It’s read at many weddings and is familiar to many both inside and outside the church. But what makes this chapter so famous? Why are we so familiar with it? Because deep down this is what we were created for and longing for: perfect love. And we are ultimately meant to find that love in Jesus and then display that love in church. We can often forget that the context of this passage comes in a section where Paul is talking about the church and exercising spiritual gifts in the church. God wants love to be at the center of all we do as a church. Which requires us asking what else can replace love at the center? What does it look like for us to love one another? And how do we continue to grow into the loving people that God desires us to be? 1 Corinthians 13 helps to direct us in all these areas.
Gospel Clarity in a Confusing Culture // The Gift and Necessity of the Local Church
2026/06/28
Kyle Kauffman | Jun 28 2026
What do you think of when you think of the church? It’s likely that many of us think of Sunday Mornings because that’s what we associate church with. And while the gathering of the church is incredibly important, it can also be dangerous if we only start to view church as an event that we attend. It’s common in our own day to view church as good, but not necessary; as nice, but not essential; as a place I go rather than a people I belong to. Part of what we might need in the 21st century is to recover a biblical vision of the church that tends to focus more on the church being a people I belong to then an event that I attend. In 1 Corinthians 12 Paul is making this case in responding to the Corinthian tendency to elevate certain spiritual gifts in a way that dismisses the need for everyone who belongs to the church. Paul makes the case that the church is essential for us because everyone in the church is essential for the spiritual good and health of others. He recognizes that the health and well-being of every member of the church depends on the love, care, and service of others in the church. This passage serves to remind us of how good and necessary the church.
Gospel Clarity in a Confusing World // The Sweetest Meal on Earth
2026/06/21
Kyle Kauffman | Jun 21 2026
For the past two thousand years churches everywhere have regularly celebrated communion. It is a wonderful gift that Jesus gave to us where we remember the love Jesus has for us and the hope we have in Him. Yet in the midst of regularly celebrating this sacrament we can easily forget, overlook, or become numb to the glory of what we are remembering and celebrating. 1 Corinthians 11:17-34 reminds us of both the gravity and goodness of what we are celebrating in communion. It calls us to ask if there are ways we may be celebrating communion (or gathering as a church) that are out of step with the gospel. It invites us to be clear on what we are doing as we take communion. And it calls us to see that the sweetness of what we celebrate in communion is only truly savored when we also know and understand the seriousness of our sin and the holiness of God. This passage can give us fresh understanding, clarity, and serious joy in what we do every time we eat and drink this meal together as a church.
