Description
I confess meditation, yoga, and mindfulness has changed my life. Welcome to the podcast and playlist. I like to think of this as soundscaping for the soul. I'm a Chicago girl all day long, I'm a mom, an entrepreneur, I'm a doctoral candidate and so much more. Don't get it twisted I'm a yogi but don't push me LOL...this practice has so much to offer and I've loved every second of being a trap yoga teacher. Confessions is about being real and using the wisdom from some of our most phenomenal rappers and music artists. Music moves me, calms me, inspires me, lifts me up.

Peace Over Payroll (At least for 10 minutes) Meditation
2025/10/16
If your body’s tired, your inbox is full, and your paycheck still ain’t adding up — this one’s for you.
“Peace Over Payroll” is a 10-minute midweek reset for anyone who’s been grinding non-stop, giving their all, and wondering when the return’s gonna match the effort. It’s not about quitting your job (yet 😏) it’s about reclaiming your energy, realigning your habits, and remembering that your worth runs deeper than your workload.
Together, we’ll breathe, reflect, and check ourselves — not out of shame, but out of clarity. Because if your week’s been out of alignment, you still got time to pivot. You still got time to choose peace, presence, and purpose over the pressure.
Press play, breathe deep, and remind yourself: your peace is your real paycheck.

Mad Hurt
2023/08/09
Hey y'all1
I'm back and better than ever at least I think I am. Ever been so angry you messed around and hurt yourself moving too fast? Imagine doing that on a daily, On this episode of COATY I admit to how I fumble when my feelings are hurt.
Care like I imagined how you doin it damnit!
2022/10/24
Ok...It's been some time. I'm not in a good mood. I'm not in a good mood because I'm in my thoughts about what folks should do, how they should do it and what it means when they don't. Learning how to stay in my lane can drive me insane. Being mindful IS NOT a walk in the park and if it was it would be a park with broken glass, random stray dogs and I don't have on any shoes LOL. It isn't easy being breezy.
This come back episode is just me confessing what it feels like to be honest about my expectations of others. My feelings get hurt when folks don't read the imaginary script I wrote for their role in my head. HOW DARE THEY!
Ultimately I get to the conclusion that I'm either jealous our lonely believing thoughts that are hurtful more easily than thoughts that aren't. The mind is a circus so no wonder I think everyone in front of me is a clown.
