Rooted | 1 Corinthians 15:22 | Pastor Lindsay Willis
2026/09/26
We’re continuing our study within our curriculum of “Woven”. This week we look into how in the very first pages of Scripture, God created a world overflowing with goodness and invited humanity to partner with Him, live by His wisdom and reflect His image. But when humans chose their own way over God’s, a pattern of rebellion took hold that no human could break, until Jesus. This lesson traces that story from the Garden of Eden to the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus, the Last Adam, chose God’s will over His own and turned the tree of death into the tree of life.
“For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.” 1 Corinthians 15:22 (NIV)

The Book of Psalms Lesson 3 | Freedom in Christ Psalm 51 & 139
2026/02/24
Looking at both of these Psalms, we learn from David’s life. We see that when we confess our sins and accept forgiveness given to us through the cross, we find freedom on the other side. Then walking in that freedom we are able to share our testimony with others. This also leads to God’s desire with us - having a close relationship with Him.

The Book of James Week 9 | Be Patient and Stand Firm: James 5:1-12
2025/11/06
This week, we are asking the question “What or Whom do you trust?” Verses 1-6 talk about those that put their trust in wealth and money and the consequences of that false god. Verses 7-12 encourages us to trust instead in the one true God in patience and perseverance and we’ll talk about the final section at the end of our time together today.
“Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord's coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord's coming is near.” James 5:7-8, NIV

The Book of James Week 7 | Humbly Submit to God: James 4:1-10
2025/10/23
This week in Chapter 4, we are reminded that humility brings us closer to God, but requires us to release our own desires as we submit to Him. In His infinite grace, God invites us to surrender, submit, lay down, and give over our own desires and selfishness and align ourselves with the life of Jesus and become a servant.
“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” James 4:7, NKJV

The Book of James Week 6 | Heavenly Wisdom: James 3:13-18
2025/10/16
In Chapter 3, verses 13-18 James talks about two kinds of wisdom: Worldly or earthly wisdom and heavenly or God’s wisdom. We all need wisdom but we want God’s wisdom.
“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.” James 3:17-18, NKJV
