Advertise on podcast: Moser, Lombardi and Kane

Former Broncos QB Ben DiNucci joined us this morning. He was in the locker room with Bo Nix last year! Does he know what's going on with Bo right now? Should the Broncos consider making a QB change, even if it's temporary? What can Nix do to get his head right? From one QB to another, let's see if we can make sense of Denver's struggling offense.

0:00 - Bo Nix has a STELLAR record in games where he barely puts any air under the ball. He averaged less than 6 air yards per pass attempt. Vic has 3 reasons why Bo Nix keeps escaping with these wins. 16:05 - Did Moser do well enough to earn his music back? Or will we return to the circus. Win, Lose, or Draw, it's time to LAY IT DOWN! 34:15 - The big bad Pittsburgh Penguins are at Ball Arena tonight taking of the Avalanche. What are Moser's Keys to the Game? Then, it's our favorite part of the week DRUNK TAKES! We take clips from throughout the week, slow em down to half speed and it makes us sound like we're hammered! Today's edition includes: pretty cool reference, I don't know what's going on, stumbling onto the beavers, and Curtis' wife.

0:00 - Former Broncos QB Ben DiNucci joined us this morning. He was in the locker room with Bo Nix last year! Does he know what's going on with Bo right now? Should the Broncos consider making a QB change, even if it's temporary? What can Nix do to get his head right? From one QB to another, let's see if we can make sense of Denver's struggling offense. 19:58 - The Broncos WON last night! That's a big win over the defending Super Bowl champs in PRIME TIME! Under the bright lights. And yet, everyone is being super critical of Bo Nix this morning across the entire national media. Has a QB with a 4-2 record ever been this heavily criticized after a big win? 32:15 - Oh, by the way...HOW many yards did CSU give up last night?? To TEXAS STATE?? Oh, by the way...college football is expanding to a 24-team playoff. Bowl games are even more worthless. Oh, by the way...back to the Broncos. We can't stop talking about that dumpster fire of a win.

0:00 - The Broncos beat the Seahawks! The defending champs! On Thursday Night Football! Their record is 4-2 now! We're all ecstatic this morning, right? Not so fast, my friend. Even after the win, Brett and Moser are in horrible moods and with good reason! But Vic solemly made a Broncos vow yesterday. Will he honor it? 15:10 - There's widespread criticism of Bo Nix across the national media. Former NFL QBs like Ben DiNucci, Dan Orlovsky, and Ryan Fitzpatrick are all questioning Bo. Something's not right with him right now. It's crazy that Bo Nix is the starting QB of a 4-2 football team that began their season with a friggin GAUNTLET of tough opponents. And yet, no one thinks he's playing well. 34:51 - Be HONEST about this Broncos team! It's OKAY to be critical of this team's offense even if they're 4-2! Use your EYES! Are you watching a good on-field product? (specifically on the offensive side of the ball. The defense was perfect last night)

0:00 - Let's look back, then look forward with ESPN's Jeff Legwold, our Broncos Insider. What did Leggy think of the ugly win @ the Chargers? What can we expect to see tonight vs the Seahawks? Can the depleted Denver defense contain Sam Darnold and the high-flying JSN? Jeff Legwold is brought to you by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. IBEW LOCAL 68. Start with a job, end with a career.  16:51 - Our message to Bo: Let it Rip, Let it Whip, Let it Snip, Let it Pip, we don't care! Get the ball to WADDLE BABY WADDLE BABY WADDLE BABY WADDLE! Let it fly! Let's see some air yards!! (The first song we played "Let It Whip" by Dazz. Then we switched to Wobble. You know the one) 33:19 - Vic made a vow LIVE on the airwaves today. He tried to get Moser & Brett to share his vow. If the Broncos win tomorrow Vic will NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT ANYTHING! Even if it looks like the Chargers game, it doesn't matter. If the Broncos beat the defending Super Bowl Champs on a short week, Vic will be all smiles tomorrow. Period.

0:00 - What advice would Chad Brown give to Bo Nix & Sean Payton? How can we get Bo back on the right track? Also, Chad Brown is a Seahawks legend! He had a great run with that franchise. What should we expect to see tonight when his Hawks come to Mile High for some Thursday Night Football action? All conversations with Chad Brown are brought to you by Surfside. 100 calories, 2 grams of sugar, and zero bubbles. It’s not a seltzer, it’s a Surfside. 16:11 - Guess what? Last night, Gabe Landeskog couldn't have kicked a puck into the net for a goal, because it would've been impossible. Moser delves into physcs and biology to explain why. 34:38 - Oh, by the way...Texans GM Nick Caserio pulled back the curtain on the Marvin Harrison Jr trade. Why did it take so along to announce, even though we all knew a trade of some form was happening? Oh, by the way...a high school football coach committed coaching malpractice and it cost him his job. What he did is okay at the college or pro level, but NOT at the high school level. Oh, by the way...is there a trade on the horizon for Shedeur Sanders?

0:00 - The Avalanche lost to the Stars in a shootout last night. If hitting posts counted for goals, the Avs would've won by about 1,000. But more importantly...Gabe Landeskog didn't kick that puck into the net. That goal shouldn't have been taken off the board after review. The Avs got hosed. Straight up. 14:05 - Former NFL QB/current radio host Brock Huard joined the Morning Sprint yesterday and offered some insight into Bo's struggles. Bo can't get the voices out of his head. It reminds Brock of a younger version of himself. 32:57 - It's not just Deion anymore! Buffs OC Brennan Marion got annoyed with a question from the media yesterday. But here's the thing...it was a valid question and had a compliment wrapped up in it.

0:00 - Mackenzie Blackwood stood on his head, Nathan MacKinnon dropped the gloves again, and the Avalanche beat the Stars 3-2 in Dallas. What a night! Let's get Jared Bednar's thoughts on all of it as his squad prepares to host the Stars at Ball Arena tonight. Ain't no rest for the wicked. Coach Bednar joins us every Wednesday morning (usually) at 8am MT, brought to you by Mr. Rooter Plumbing. Proudly rooting for Colorado’s hockey team! 15:06 - Is Bo Nix going through it right now? Is he in a bit of a mental funk? Vic seems to think so, based on how Bo sounded at his presser yesterday. After that, Avs are back at it TONIGHT against the Stars...again. What are Moser's Keys to the Game? 32:57 - Why doesn't the MLB give a toot about the Tampa Bay Rays? They've been CONSISTENTLY GOOD for years now, and you never hear about them! They won 98 games this season and yet the league acts like they don't exist. Embrace the small market teams if/when they're good!

0:00 - Mackenzie Blackwood needed to prove to us that he's the guy. Sometimes, you gotta put on your big boy pants and make some big boy saves. Last night, that's EXACTLY what he did. He bailed out his squad multiple times en route to a win over Dallas.  12:35 - Ian Furness of 93.3 KJR in Seattle (friend of the program) joined us today to preview Broncos vs Seahawks tomorrow night. The more and more Ian described the Seahawks...the more and more it sounded like he was describing the Broncos. 31:40 - Oh, by the way...Nikola Jokic is now a spokesman for Sprite (joining Anthony Edwards) and he just released his first commercial. It's...weird seeing Jokic do an awkwardly funny commercial on TV. Oh, by the way...we have some window cleaners in the building making the studio look nice and pretty. And Moser made one of them feel pretty uncomfortable. Oh, by the way...Jerry Jones recently told a story about a "hefty" Packers fan who mooned him 25 yeras ago.

0:00 - The Avs headed to Dallas and beat the Stars 3-2. Nathan MacKinnon fought a dude & Mackenzie Blackwood did his best impression of a brick wall in net. Colorado checked a lot of boxes last night. 15:45 - Bo Nix addressed the media yesterday and he was a lot more open and honest than he usually is. He has a new mantra heading into Thursday night's game: WHO CARES? 34:19 - Before the Texas Tech game, someone found a copy of CU's playbook in a bathroom. It looked like a scripted sequence. And CU ran that EXACT sequence in the game. Yesterday, someone asked Deion Sanders about the incident and he, shocker, decided to quibble with the media about the specifics.

ESPN's Adam Schefter joins Moser, Lombardi, and Kane to recap Week 5 in the NFL: What happened at the end of Giants-Commanders? Marvin Harrison Jr got traded! Does it matter that the Broncos offense looked kinda the same from last week, since they're 3-2? The gang gets into all of that and more with Adam Schefter.

00:00 - The guys share a good talk about the Seahawks and what all the Broncos can expect to see on Thursday night. 15:31 - Adam Schefter comes on. Broncos, Chargers, Seahawks, and even some great stories of the late Mike Ditka. 33:46 - Believe it or not, it's finally time for Mose's keys to the game as the Avalanche get ready to face off against the Dallas Stars tonight.

0:00 - The only bright spot on this Broncos season so far is the 3-2 record. So, let's take that out of the equation. Just what exactly do the Broncos become? 8:56 - It's Around The NFL! Brett comes with all the biggest stories in and around the National Football League to Vic and Mose. 27:12 - Oh, By The Way!

00:00 - What a game last night! The guys chat about those late game heroics we saw from Josh Allen as the Bills beat the Rams 37-34. 17:23 - Some good general conversation about the Avalanche. Assistant Coach Dave Hakstol has reportedly accepted a deal to become the new HC of the Arizona State Sun Devils. What this means for the Avalanche. Plus, some talk about the whole goalie thing... 32:21 - It's no secret among Bronco fans that something about Bo Nix has been off this season. The theory is discussed if fear is what's holding the young QB back.

Why can't this Broncos offense GET GOING?? It still sputters at every turn! Maybe a Super Bowl-winning offensive lineman can diagnose this team's problems.  Ryan Harris joins us every Monday at 8am thanks to Carrier Colorado. Colorado weather changes fast.
