Playbook Radio #192 - The Kill Switch
2026/10/17
You can’t run 10 or 12 things at once. There isn’t enough time, and more importantly, there isn’t enough energy. In this episode, Martin Williams breaks down the Kill Switch: the ruthless elimination of whatever is draining your time and resources.
A kill switch shuts a system down before a malfunction spreads. Used in your own life, it means cutting the habits holding you back, the things you keep procrastinating on, the ideas you’ve been sitting on without testing, and, when necessary, the dead-end jobs and relationships that aren’t going anywhere.
What you’ll hear:
Why choosing where your energy goes is a master skillHow procrastination starts a negative feedback loopThe simple rule for ideas: test it, and if it doesn’t work, kill itWhy high performers cut losers without emotional attachmentWhy 7 or 8 ideas at once keeps a business from ever launchingThe daily practice behind “you eat what you kill”The framework to memorize: Lock, Load, Kill, RepeatPick one thing. Lock in. Finish it. Then move on to the next. The momentum compounds.

Playbook Radio #191 - Your Current Programming isn't Working
2026/10/14
Everything comes down to results. When a radio station stops getting them, it doesn't blame the staff. It changes the programming. In this episode of Playbook Radio, Martin Williams asks you to do the same.
If you've been stuck in a rut, you can't keep thinking the same thoughts and expect a different outcome. What you thought yesterday is what you have today. Martin breaks down what it really means to change your programming: think, talk, and act like the person who already has what you want, then back it with consistent action.
You'll hear:
- The stories of a coworker who applied for jobs eight hours a day at the library and a friend who always stayed busy during unemployment
- Why "work finds working people"
- Why telling yourself "I have clients" isn't lying
- The football analogy: you already have the ball, so keep moving to the goal line
- How to recognize negative beliefs when you stall between starting and the halfway mark
Listen, then share it with someone who's stuck.
Playbook Radio #190 - Walk by Faith
2026/10/04
At 5 years old, my stepfather took the training wheels off my bike. I was not happy about it. But the choice was simple: ride the bike, or don't have one.
In this episode, I connect that story to where I am now. God takes off our training wheels at different points in life, whether it's a job, a client, a person, or a system we've leaned on. He does it because he wants us to lean on him and build our faith.
I talk about:
Why the training wheels felt safe but were actually slowing me downWhat happens when a job is taken from you, and the gift you were meant to use had nothing to do with that jobLiving in the world without being dependent on the systemWhy faith takes practice, and why most people fall back around day threeBalancing faith and reality, just like balancing on a bikeNeville Goddard's law of assumption: stop figuring out how it will work and live from the endFor a lot of us, faith used to be a luxury. Now it's a necessity. If you've been laid off, feel stuck, or know it's time to stop depending on one paycheck, this one is for you.
Get on the bike, and stay on the bike.
Playbook Radio #189 - You're Trying to Do Too Much, Too Soon
2026/09/26
Episode 189: You're Trying to Do Too Much (And It's Killing Your Progress)
Martin Williams gets real about a habit he's guilty of himself: trying to compress real change into unrealistic timelines. Moving into entrepreneurship full-time has forced him to confront how much content to post, how many products to launch, and how fast is "fast enough" — and the answer surprised him.
In this episode, Martin breaks down:
Why sustainable consistency beats aggressive bursts every timeThe 2-5 month reality of healthy weight loss (and why the scale-checking habit sabotages it)How practical habits build the foundation that makes metaphysics and law of attraction actually workThe "one year, no interruptions" benchmark — and the biblical story behind itWhy copying someone else's content schedule or business playbook usually backfiresWhat to do when you need a win fast, without burning out chasing itIf you've ever felt behind because you couldn't keep pace with what everyone else on social media claims to be doing, this one's for you. Lock in what you can actually sustain — and give it a year.

Playbook Radio #188: The Problem is the Programming
2026/09/25
Your results aren't random — they're a mirror of what's running in your subconscious mind. In this episode of Playbook Radio, I break down why mindset work doesn't have to be complicated: it's about identifying the one belief driving your current results and consciously replacing it. I walk through why repetition — the same way you'd loop an Execution Codes audio — is what actually reprograms the subconscious, and why the science backs it up. If you've struggled to get traction in business, relationships, or your career, this episode explains the real reason why, and gives you the starting point to change it. The only limitation is between your ears — and once you address that, everything else starts to move.
Episode #187 — "Create the Win"
2026/09/22
What do you do when you're chasing a goal you've never actually reached before — more money, a new level in your career, a version of yourself you haven't met yet? Most people stall out right there, thinking, "I've never done this, so I guess I can't." In episode 187 of Playbook Radio, "Create the Win," Martin Williams breaks down the difference between replaying a past win and pre-playing one you haven't had yet — a technique used by Olympic athletes and high performers to build confidence before the proof exists. You'll learn why your subconscious mind can't tell the difference between a real memory and an imagined one, and exactly how repetition (not hype) is what makes a new identity stick. Listen now, then go create the win.
Playbook Radio #186: Movement
2026/09/19
In this episode, Martin breaks down why forcing yourself to move — even in small, imperfect steps — is the key to getting unstuck in life, business, and mindset.
He draws the through-line from physical movement (why your body needs it) to financial movement (why money has to stay in motion) to psychological movement (why staying stuck in a career, relationship, or mindset is its own kind of death). The core idea: you don't need a perfect, fully-formed decision — you just need to take the next step.
He illustrates it with a personal story from grad school: a late paper, an unresponsive professor, and a weekend spent finishing it anyway with no guarantee it would be accepted — a bet that paid off with a B and a lesson that's stuck with him since. The takeaway: mistakes come with a bill, but you don't get the lesson unless you actually move.
He closes with a practical framing — whether it's packing for a move or job hunting, don't wait for the deadline. Do a little each day. Momentum builds inertia, and inertia is what carries you forward.

Playbook Radio #185 - Are You Trained for Where You Want to Go?
2026/09/09
Your mind has to be trained just like your body does. In this episode, I get into why most goals stall out — not because people are lazy, but because the mind was never conditioned to expect the win. I share the story of the master's degree I almost lost, how I used visualization to get it back, and why mental conditioning has to come before action, not after. If you've been struggling to stick with something, this one's for you.

Playbook Radio #184 - You Aren't Finished Yet
2026/09/01
You're not finished yet — and that's the point.
In this episode, I break down why we extend grace to unfinished buildings, unfinished projects, and other people's timelines... but never to ourselves. I get into the two rules of project management that apply directly to your life, why "finishing is a decision," and how I've stopped beating myself up for not being where I thought I'd be by now.
You are under construction. Keep building.

Playbook Radio #183: Law over Feelings
2026/08/28
Your feelings aren't your north star — they're a signal, and signals can be wrong. In this episode, I break down why you can't run your business, your relationships, or your life strictly off how you feel in the moment. I'll walk you through the traffic light principle, why the first 90 days never tell the real story, and why you don't quit before the data comes in. If you've ever pulled yourself out of a good situation because it "didn't feel right," or given up on something too early because the feeling of struggle got loud — this one's for you. Live by the law.

Playbook Radio #182 - You Have to See Yourself There Before You Get There
2026/08/24
You can't build a future you've never let yourself picture. If you're waiting for proof before you visualize the win, you've got it backwards.
In this episode: — Why visualization isn't "woo" — it's a muscle you already built as a kid — The real story of visualizing a trip he couldn't afford — and how it showed up — The 5-minute practice that starts moving things, even before anything's changed
This one's for the person who feels like they need permission to dream bigger than their current situation.
Run it back. Execute.
Playbook Radio #181 - Just Start
2026/08/17
Procrastination doesn't just cost you time — one estimate puts the price tag at $70 billion a year in the U.S. alone. In this episode, Martin breaks down Playbook Principle 17: just start. Why waiting for the "right time" is quietly bankrupting your relationships, your finances, and your ideas — and why a five-dollar deposit today beats a perfect plan tomorrow.
Playbook Radio #180 - Process over Progress
2026/08/12
Martin opens with the NFL training camp phenomenon — now that camps are open to media, every practice gets scrutinized, creating an exaggerated day-to-day narrative (great one day, terrible the next) that doesn't reflect the real work happening behind the scenes.
He draws the parallel to personal change: weight loss, business building, relationships. Judging progress by daily snapshots (the scale, the view count, the bank balance) leads to two failure modes — overconfidence when things look good, or discouragement and quitting when they don't. Neither serves the actual work.
His prescription: don't evaluate progress for the first 90 days of any new habit or venture — focus entirely on the process (consistency, the fundamentals) rather than the outcome metrics. Once a habit is locked in (roughly the 90-day mark), it's appropriate to start reviewing results.
He closes with a scripture reference (Hebrews 6:12 — "faith and patience" inheriting the promise), reframing it as: faith = showing up daily, patience = not needing immediate results. The core message: protect the practice, and the progress takes care of itself.
you reset your mind at work.
Playbook Radio #179: Feeling is the Signal
2026/07/14
Your feelings aren't random — they're a direct signal from your subconscious mind. In this episode, I talk about why anxiety and doubt aren't things to just push through, but information to act on. I share the exact process I use to remove negative expectations and replace them with confidence, why "neutral" — not forced positivity — is the real goal, and why your mood determines your fortunes, not the other way around. Tune in and learn to use your feelings as a GPS for moving forward.
Playbook Radio #178 - Stay the Course
2026/07/10
Staying the Course: Why Shiny Object Syndrome Is Killing Your Dream
We've all done it — started a business, a fitness plan, a relationship decision with total conviction, only to wake up the next day pulled toward something new. In this episode, I break down why "shiny object syndrome" derails more good ideas than any external obstacle ever could, and why the most successful people you know aren't the ones who jumped from idea to idea — they're the ones who picked one thing and refused to let go.
I get into the real reason we abandon our own goals (hint: it's usually about money and fear, not lack of good ideas), why 90 days of consistency beats a year of scattered effort, and how Neville Goddard's teachings on identity and "living from the end" can reframe how you think about scarcity while you're building toward something bigger.
If you've ever quit something after two weeks and told yourself it "didn't work" — this one's for you.
