JAX IS RAD because of people like Elliot Skipper, who is the youngest sailor to be in the Golden Globe Race 2022. The Golden Globe is a non stop, solo, retro race around the world. Elliot is a Florida native and we got to sit down with him and hear what it takes to be in the Golden Globe Race. JAX IS RAD because of people like Tess Guidi. Tess is a Graphic Designer who specializes in lettering of all different mediums. She also is on the board of AIGA which is a chapter that helps connect creatives in our city. We got to sit down with Tess and learn about how she has taught herself hand lettering and where she wants to take it. Let’s just say you should hire her! Connor was pointed out to us by his friends who said we have to interview him and hear about his RAD pottery. Seeing his portfolio pieces we wanted to hear his story and how he got into these beautiful pieces he creates. Connor talks about starting out as a Criminal Justice major and why he changed his major to ceramics. He loves the Jacksonville community and loves to go to shows.
