Episode 378: Rabbit Holes For Life
2026/10/22
It's a week of catchup as we dive into the certain weather issues going on along the coast of California. Huw is safe although some of the costal towns are being eaten by the ocean. Nate brings up recent events at a Six Flags as disaster hits the roller coaster scene. Don't think we forgot about the Selma Blair incident and look into her behavior over the years. The next hole we end up deals with titles of what a doctor might be considered as well as a lawyer. Hopefully everyone is staying safe out there.
Episode 377: AI Failure
2026/10/15
Well this is a fun one as the AI has failed a certain person with their notes and a head cold isn't helping. Typical madness of rabbit holes of conversation from the week. Hopefully everyone is good out there and staying safe.
Episode 376: Which Timeline Mandela?
2026/10/07
The crew dive down into the world and the Mandela Effect. Starting with Fruit of the Loom all the way to Sinbad's Shazam. Could there be a few other titles that would surprise anyone? We get into a wider nostalgia conversation: childhood sleepovers, an old pay-per-view Mike Tyson fight, rising college costs, and favorite film performances. It’s a loose, funny discussion rather than an attempt to settle which memories are “right.” Stay safe out there folks.
Episode 375: Skynet coming?
2026/09/30
The crew starts with the Ireland–Israel football debate, then wander through Taylor Swift’s album variants, Macklemore, movie reboots, and whether Dune or Marvel will win their box-office showdown. We have some fun disgusting the on going situation with AI and the possible fall of society... Nothing but positive for the listeners. Be safe out there folks and talk to you soon.
Episode 374: The Sherrios are Coming
2026/09/24
Paramount Plus becomes a football lifeline, Hollywood mergers implode, and Ed Sheeran’s tour takes an own goal of historic proportions. Plus: Emmys chaos, celebrity memory lane, and why everyone from studios to stadium owners needs better PR. Stay safe out there folks and catch you later this week.
Episode 373: Memory Lane
2026/09/16
A free-ranging conversation reflecting on 9/11 memories, then veering into NFL international games, celebrity careers and deaths, Disney/TV nostalgia, religion, and favorite comfort-food spots. Sorry for the delay, but life will life and there will be a hopeful quick turnaround on the next episode recording later this week. Be safe out there folks and talk with you next week.
Episode 372: Back-to-Back
2026/09/01
It's been an emotional week with the recent passing of Dolly Parton followed by Tim Curry. Take a dive down the work Dolly has done for society. The curse of Home Alone 2 is starting to be a thing with the passing of Tim Curry. We take a look at some of the beloved celebrities. We jump down the rabbit hole of Bill Burr that takes us to LIV Golf that is finding itself in trouble. That brings us to the most recent controversy of Good Good Golf and their recent ad. Hopefully everyone is staying safe out there and we'll catch you later this week.
Episode 371: DC Tripping
2026/08/26
Welcome back as a third of the show has decided to hit the road going to DC. Nate fills us in on the fun going on in the capital. Which leads us down the rabbit hole of Natalie Harp and recent association to the white house. The recent passing of Hayden Panettiere and will touch on recent passings later this week. As well as a quick work of the director Chris Columbus. Hopefully everyone is safe out there and we'll be back shortly.
Episode 370: Getting our Groove Back
2026/08/19
We're looking to find our way back on track but life still seems to get in the way. Hopefully everyone is staying safe out there. We have some fun going back to the old days of media consumption with the stories coming out of Florida and Perez Hilton. We take a minute to dive into the modern day Hunger Games... A.K.A. the Patriot Games. More details to come next episode too. Joe Rogan has somehow still been Joe Rogan even when facts come his way. News coming out of North Carolina and their Miss North Carolina being stripped of their title. We'll catch you all on the next one, stay safe.
Episode 369:
2026/08/06
AI is here and there's no stopping it... even when it comes to a doctor searching for something. This idea of doctors leads us down the rabbit hole of standardized testing. We take a turn into the political sphere with certain races coming up and the ideocracy of some members. Why wouldn't the talk of political corruption lead us into the world of FIFA. We do find our way into more normal conversation of film with the Odyssey and the Devil Wears Prada 2. Huw's been on a hot streak in the film watching recently. We take a quick dive down the parody films with Mel Brooks' Spaceballs 2 coming to theaters soon. Hopefully everyone is staying safe out there.
Episode 368: Backlogged
2026/07/31
Who doesn't want to watch the world burn as we're all sitting on the toilet from lettuce? We take a second to look at the corporate influence on the food supply... because nothing says exciting like politics in food. We dive down the rabbit hole of film with Nolan's soon release of the Odyssey. This takes us down the path of Grisham and the world of Marvel. Then comes the odd turn into broadcasting and the shift within the platform. Hopefully everyone is staying safe out there.
Episode 367: Life Will Life
2026/07/21
Life has a way of lifing... With that, sorry for the delay in the past couple weeks when it comes to releases and recording. We dive in right where we left off after a little hiatus. The world doesn't stop if we take a second. And randomness is a constant in the world. Whether it's the results of the World Cup. The ramifications of a wedding that people care about. The destruction of the reflection pool. We also have those rabbit holes of randomness that we go down with actors, gas, and other random thoughts this week. Stay safe out there and we'll catch you later this week.
Episode 366: Sorry for the delay
2026/07/15
This was delayed... a wee bit. Mostly because our producer got caught up in life and work took over. We dove into the world of soccer and the world cup. Rabbit holes went down and someone should have paid a little more attention to the recording while editing. On that note we do get to the wedding of the year so far. Although none were invited to see what might have been. Be safe out there and we'll catch you shortly.
Episode 365: Summer Time
2026/06/15
Writing this all again during a heatwave in a garage has made this a little more of a rant than a description. We dive into the World Cup and the NBA finals last week. We find a rabbit hole of the Tonys with a few nominees leading Nate to talk about Solo. Commentary on DVDs seemed to be a dying art that the kids will never understand. Hopefully everyone is staying safe out there and apologies for the short description.
Episode 364: We're Eating Crazy Pills
2026/06/05
When is it enough with the reality show performers think they're capable of doing of anything of use? We get into the mayoral race in Los Angeles and Spencer Pratt. We look at the recent Madden Cover and how Caleb Williams painting his fingernails. TMZ is doing more work in politics than CBS at the moment. Hunter Biden goes scorched earth on Twitter. Finally, we take a look down memory lane with the Jersey Shore and somehow the spinoff has gone for 8 seasons. Nate does a non-spoiler/ spoiler with Euphoria. Hopefully everyone is out there staying safe.
