She Works Hard for the Money - #216
2022/06/24
It's another show on location, this time in Washington DC. Keith is covering the KPMG Women's PGA Championship at Congressional Country Club. The ladies third major of 2022 has an amazing field. The first round had some serious fireworks. Not to be outdone, the PGA Tour is going low in Connecticut as well.  Rory leads that event after one round.  Keith is joined by a player from the KPMG, Alisa Rodriguez. Alisa qualified for the Women's PGA last year and spoke to Keith that week so when she qualified for 2022, we just had to have her back. The spirited young PGA Apprentice can seriously golf her ball.  Together they discuss qualifying, Congressional, her job and playing on the Epson Tour. How doe she balance it all, listen and learn. It's not every day we can chat with a major championship competitor. The insights she gives are refreshing and educational.  The Weekly Update: Grayson Murray on Twitter, Mike Whan responds on social and a Caddie wins his first major.    ProShow Playlist Ep. #216:  She Works Hard for the Money (Donna Summer), Ghost (Justin Bieber), Heat Waves (Glass Animals)
Dirty Water - #215

Coming to you "live" from the 122nd US Open hosted by The Country Club in Boston, Massachusetts. Friday afternoon at a major championship has the media center buzzing so Keith invited two great ProShow friends on air to enjoy the atmosphere.  Golf's iconic artist Lee Wybranski was on property to sign his indelible image of this year's championship. He and Keith discuss his tenure of fifteen years making US Open posters. How he selects the image and then ultimately the creation. Lee's seen some pretty good national championships and together they reminisce over a couple they share together.   Lee's always looking to encapsulate the experience. It's one of those cool conversations where these two friends tell a different story that surrounds the tournament. Once Lee steps out of the booth, Teddy Greenstein sits in. The former Chicago Tribune reporter has covered over a dozen US Opens.  From his first, and now this one for PointsBet, he tells a couple great stories. Keith and Teddy get into who was the most popular bet of the championship and the best live bets for the weekend. It wouldn't be a major week without Teddy G! There's even a little LIV talk... Tune in and enjoy. This fast paced episode feels as quick as those greens at TCC.    ProShow Playlist Ep. #215:  Sweet Emotion (Aerosmith), Dirty Water (The Standells)

The tournament will be held at the Omni Barton Creek Resort in Austin, Texas. Together with another 311 PGA Professionals, Michael will try to earn one of 20 spots for next month's PGA Championship at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Whether Michael makes it or not is actually irrelevant. Just getting to the national championship was a tremendous accomplishment. Michael was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer in late 2019. Now he's playing in the PPC. You have to hear his story, it will just amaze you. Most of all it will make you appreciate all your world has inside it. Such a truly memorable interview should not be missed.
