Our agent told us the "hot" times to drop podcasts were as close to the begging and the end of Matchweek 3 in the Premier League to maximize the potential virality, whatever that means. In any case, we're looking back at our weeks old predictions for this season and musing on what we might have done differently before previewing a very early PDPL Bowl. Prem Daddies: Got some fresh content for you boss! Producer: Guys, this is a season preview episode but we're 2 weeks in. Prem Daddies: No doubt. Producer: Ok...also just looked at the date of the file, you recorded this 10 days ago? Prem Daddies: Yeah, had to let it stew. Producer: But that was after the first matchweek. You can't do a preview after something starts. Prem Daddies: Great things take time. Producer: Do I have this right? You're comparing teams to modes of transportation? Prem Daddies: Um, I'm sorry. Are you the one with 12 subscribers or are we? Ha. Producer: You guys have 8 subscribers. Prem Daddies: Cue the CSI Miami meme. Producer: I am never working for you guys again or my name is not Carl Mueller.

What's up Premheads! Our episode this week is a recap of the epic, sick, and twisted season that was the Premier League this year. We run through all the teams, plus we have a wild and wacky draft for the team of the season. You won't want to miss it! Ha. So great to be back with you this week with our weekly podcast as always that we do every week. Best of all, we get to do it with our favorites, The Premheads! Well what do you know. We go and take a World Cup break and come back with the PDLP boys on top of the world. Fresh off a couple of derby drubbings, the Prem de la Prem Bowl has never had higher stakes. We get back into the swing with a top of the table (read: entirely self serving) breakdown before the big weekend.

Special episode for you folks. It's been difficult to come to terms with the World Cup this year. What comes as the biggest surprise, is it starts this weekend. We had no idea what we were getting into since they just plopped it on us right before Thanksgiving (thankful for the Premheads blah blah blah), so we turned to two of our experts to join us on this pod to break down what to expect out of each of the group.

It was the last day of the Premier League before Christmas, and somehow Piers Morgan is on my feed. It's especially curated for football this is nonsense! In any case, James and Patrick will discuss the oldest child in the world, but more importantly we'll try to digest what we're seeing out of a few key teams going into the World Cup break. Are Arsenal a title threat? Is Newcastle the real deal? Is Chelsea dead? A bit more as always before we get into a World Cup preview later this week.

With 2 feathery tunes to bid farewell to a couple of our lost managers, a hectic homecoming for Potter, and a few others playing a game of hot seat, we decided to focus this week on the men in the arena but not on the pitch. Managers are all the rage these days, and we're going through them like Arsene Wenger did zippers. We spotlight the most interesting and volatile managers in the league and set the stage for the end of the first wave of the season.

A lot can happen when we take 1 day between a record and an edit, and rarely does it make us look good. But come travel to a time before the sacking of Slippy G and play a game of stonks with the lads. Some stonks are already up, others already down, the journey is yours to decide. Who even knows what I'm talking about anymore? Diamond hands baby.

On the eve of the North London Derby and on the eve of the eve of the Manchester Derby, it's a different vibe around the PDLP studio. Nervy days ahead for our beloved sides with two massive games against Spurs and City respectively. But that's not all we're left to sort out. With the passing of Her Majesty, it allowed us the time to reflect on which teams need to buckle down the most between now and the World Cup to take control over their season.

Quite a bit to unpack on this week's episode. We of course have to get into the Prem de la Prem Bowl, but we also have Charlie Puth back on the payroll early into the season for a double feature. The sacking of Tommy Tuchel has left us both surprised, and quite frankly, a bit aroused. But what does it mean for Chelsea under the new regime? Last but not least, we get a cameo from a special guest that you won't want to miss.
