For Such A Time As This
2026/09/28
Imagine a little girl growing up in Cameroon, from humble beginnings, curious about everything and never afraid to ask why.
Decades later, she is in Silicon Valley building AI technology used by billions of people around the world.
This is Dr. Marie-Ange Eyoum Tagne, and she became the first African-born woman to earn a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Berkeley. She almost quit during that program until one mentor looked her in the eyes and said, I believe in you.
From there, she went on to lead product at Meta, Amazon, Roku, Yahoo and Intel.
Then, after twenty years of eighty hour work weeks, she was laid off. She sat with an empty calendar and started journaling just to find her way back to herself. One question kept surfacing. Who am I without this job and without this title.
In this episode we get into what it really looks like to rebuild your identity after a layoff, the mentors who believed in her before she believed in herself, and the legacy she is building on her own terms.
Live Sovereign
2026/04/22
The first time I sat down with Radiah Rhodes was back in 2020, and a lot has changed since then. The world has gotten louder, careers more uncertain, and people everywhere are being forced to ask questions about who they are that they never would have had to ask before. Most of them don't have a language for the answers yet.
Radiah does.
She is the founder of Evoke Life, an identity strategist, author, and coach who has spent over a decade building a methodology around one deceptively simple idea. The reason most of us are stuck has nothing to do with strategy, hustle, or time management. It has everything to do with identity. With who you think you are. And more importantly, who you've forgotten you get to be.
In this conversation, we talk about why change doesn't have to be hard, what happens when your mind jumps straight to catastrophe, and what it actually means to stop being your title and start being yourself. We also revisit three questions I asked Radiah six years ago, and her answers today reveal just how much is possible when you do the work.
Radiah is also preparing to launch Live Sovereign, a digital magazine and 12-month personal operating system designed to help you live your life with clarity and intention. To learn more, reach out to her at [email protected] or DM her at @evoklife on Instagram.
There Will Never Be Another You
2026/03/05
Liz Scott, is an author and psychologist who has lived through loss, childhood trauma, cancer, and the quiet realization that time is no longer theoretical. Instead of avoiding that truth, she leaned directly into it. In this episode, we talk about mortality, love, fear, and the deeper question underneath it all: what does it actually mean to live a meaningful life while we're still here?

How to Stay Human in an AI World - Feelings, Connection & The Future of Work
2025/12/16
What if artificial intelligence isn't here to replace our humanity…but to force us to remember it?
In today's conversation, I'm sitting down with Anne Brashier. She's an immersive storyteller, creative director, and creator of the "Carnival of Feelings," a grief-and-play experience that helps people literally play through their emotions instead of hiding from them.
We explore what happens when our news feeds and algorithms pull us further apart, while our bodies and communities are begging to come back together. We talk about career pivots, ego death, regret, love, and why the next real economy won't be built on information; it'll be built on care, connection, and the courage to say, "Here's how I'm really doing."
Single Thread
2025/11/10
Marcus Morgan-Etty is the Co-Founder and Creative Director of Single Thread, a design agency that positions founders to help them break through growth ceilings.
In this episode, Marcus and I explore what it means to defy expectations, embrace imperfect parenting, and find success on your own terms.
From growing up in an entrepreneurial family to building his own global ventures, he reflects on the lessons that shaped him, the evolving value of education, the gift of emotional honesty in parenting, and how finding your truth often starts in the chaos.
Whether you're an entrepreneur, a parent, or someone navigating reinvention, this episode reminds you: there's no perfect path—just the courage to walk your own.
Cup of Joey
2025/10/30
Joey Sanchez is the founder and CEO of Cup of Joey, a movement that brings people together with purpose and for good. Instead of slinging business cards, every Cup of Joey event starts by asking participants a single question: "What is your WHY?"
The amount of people who get stumped at the check-in table is one of the many reasons I'm excited to share this conversation today.
Because I've had the unique opportunity to work with Joey and watch him transform a simple cup of coffee into purpose-driven rooms where leaders listen, ask better questions, and build what's next together.
This episode is about the habits that scale belonging, the courage to keep showing up, and how we can use technology to strengthen human connection.
Human AF
2025/09/30
What if the real strategy isn't strategy at all...but the courage to show up as yourself?
In this episode, Adam Faulkner and I explore what it means to trade performance for presence, frameworks for freedom, and "more" for enough. From his days as a journalist knocking on doors to now building a life and business on his own terms, Adam shares how curiosity, play, and raw honesty become the real proof of who we are.

Justice, Equity, and AI
2025/08/29
What if the Fourth Industrial Revolution wasn't just about power or profit—but about equity, connection, and human dignity?
My conversation with Malika Saada Saar explores this idea and the deeper questions around technology and the rapid advancement of AI that we all need to be asking ourselves.
As a distinguished human rights lawyer and tech policy strategist, Malika's work and legal advocacy have earned her widespread recognition, including being named one of Newsweek's "150 Women Who Shake the World."
In this episode, we talk about the hard truths, profound hope, and a powerful vision of how AI can protect rights, spark creativity, and reimagine what's possible for the next generation.
Lyrics to Legacy
2025/07/31
When the world shut down, so did the stage, and Dynasty was forced to face a version of herself she hadn't met yet.
In this raw, honest conversation, she shares how creativity became her lifeline, how music helped her reconnect with purpose, and why self-love had to start from within.
From navigating pandemic depression to finding real love, redefining success, and reclaiming her voice, this episode is a powerful reminder of what it means to live your lyrics and heal out loud.
Leaving Safety to Find Self
2025/06/26
Imagine you've built a successful 20 year career as an executive at Google, then became the chief of staff for a 3,000 person organization, and your sitting at your computer screen staring at all the zeros on the compensation packet you're about to leave behind in pursuit of something greater.
This moment was the beginning of Jonika Hoomes's journey away from the safety and the prestige of a global tech company and into the trenches of entrepreneurship, self-discovery, and transformation.
In this conversation we dive deep into the identity shifts, the loneliness, the fire of burnout, and the courage it takes to say: this isn't working anymore.
But this episode isn't just about leaving the old ways behind—it's about becoming who you really are and it's about showing up for the life that's calling you, even when the roadmap doesn't exist.

In this interview, we explore the transformative power of music, the challenges of navigating career transitions, and what it looks, feels, and sounds like to build a career and legacy you can be proud of.
The Savants
2025/03/28
Kathryn Morris is a mother, actress, producer, and genuine leader on a mission to change the narrative around Autism and how people on and off the spectrum live and work together.
As the founder and CEO of The Savants, a lifestyle brand for misfits, makers, and mind-benders, she's transforming isolation into connection and redefining what neurodiversity and inclusion truly mean.
In this episode, we explore the unseen struggles of special needs families, the role of artistic expression in neurodivergent minds, and how finding your tribe can make all the difference.
