The “Brown Girls Abroad” celebration continues!  We are going on an expedition with Sym who is an educator and technology professional who has had extensive experience living, working, and “couchsurfing” throughout Asia, Africa, and any culture she wants to explore!

We are celebrating “Brown Girls Abroad” throughout this third season! Today we are traveling the world with nomad, Asia Nichols. She has been writing, creating, and house sitting in over 25 nations for the last 10 years with her husband. She has captivating international insights to share!

On this episode of our Brown Girls Abroad celebration we are traveling to Australia for an inspirational conversation with Paige Merrill. She is a missionary serving through the organization Youth With A Mission. Paige shares a beautiful testimony about her journey and experiences as a Black woman living on a different continent.

The intent of this bonus episode is to bring joy and laughter as we embrace 2021 and stay optimistic for the future. This extraordinary, youthful guest co-host will connect us back to the simplicity of childhood and the happiness and the wonder that it brings.  

This episode is a source of hope and encouragement after all that the world has endured in 2020 through reflecting on beautiful passages from the book of Psalms for inspiration and prayer.  

The Season 3 celebration of Brown Girls Abroad continues through our conversation with Erica Jones, a finance manager for a tech company and an expat living on the island of Ireland. Less than 2% of the population in Ireland is Black. Erica shares amazing insights about the cultural climate.

“Wheels Up!” Our Season 3 Celebration of “Brown Girls Abroad” continues with a captivating conversation with the Brown Girl Globetrotter, Tiffany Green! She has visited over 70 countries!  Tiffany is an author, educator, and a counselor for Think Global School.

This month we received a master class in sisterhood as we witnessed the brilliance of two beautiful Black, legendary Queens, Gladys Knight and Patti Labelle! Their Instagram “Verzuz” battle was an inspirational celebration of music and Black excellence. We invited a panel of amazing women to share what made this night so magical!

We are continuing our conversations celebrating Brown Girls Abroad! On this episode we travel to Canada to talk to Selina-Rachel Mendez, marketing manager for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. We discuss cultural nuances of the Canadian Black experience including the fight for justice, Canadian Black history, and the landscape of this pandemic.
