From the Vault: Brightburn
2026/10/01
Hey guys! We aren't able to record together this week, so in honor of SPOOKY SZN officially beginning, we're cracking open the dusty, old, creepy vault and pulling out 2019's Brightburn! What's scarier than evil Superman? Evil Superman who's just starting puberty. Shudder. Enjoy! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

279- Obsession
2026/09/18
This week on Almost Accurate:  Marvel’s Wolverine isn’t doing so hot critically and with the fans, possibly a reflection on the general sentiment of Sony and PlayStation at the moment Hideo Kojima is thriving in his post breakup with Sony and is happy to trot out some more Hollywood actors in his new partnership with Xbox Resident Evil is scroing quite well on Rotten Tomatoes The boys are delving deep into the new Gen Z sensation Obsession. Honestly, it’s good that good movies are coming out. We love to not be serious when we’re doing this podcast, but at the end of the day we love actually watching and talking about movies that are good, and Obsession gives us hope for the new generation, and the movie industry as a whole. We’ve been through some fallow periods, and hopefully we can read a harvest of creativity and a bit of originality in the future. All of this and more on this week’s episode of Almost Accurate! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
278- Too Many Video Games

Nintendo had back to back directs, showing off the upcoming Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake, upcoming games like Metroid Ravenous, an all new open-world Kirby game, and more third party ports that you can count! Sony and Hideo Kojima are breaking upI don’t think we’ve missed anything! Oh and there’s the plucky underdogs over at Rockstar games that are putting out apparently the sixth game in a certain franchise, and we’ll see how that goes! I’m hearing good thing! GTA 6 is going to be the biggest gaming launch anyone has ever seen, who are we kidding All of this and more on this week’s edition of Almost Accurate! Hosted on Acast. The Hawk is out now on Netflix and it's not Will Ferrel's strongest work. You know what else isn't? Holmes & Watson. Enjoy us throwing it back to New Year's Day 2019 because there's no better way to ring in the new year than experiencing a very middling comedy at the cinema. Enjoy! Hosted on Acast. From the Vault: Happy Death Day
2026/07/16
