Episode 236-Who Are You Without the Titles? Finding Your Identity in Christ with Jill O'Boyle
2026/10/11
Who are you when the titles, accomplishments, responsibilities, and expectations are stripped away? Jill O'Boyle spent 15 years building a successful career in corporate event and project management. She was a high achiever, independent, capable, and known as the person who would get things done. From the outside, it looked like success. But somewhere along the way, Jill lost sight of herself. In this honest conversation, Jill shares the moment she looked in the mirror and realized she didn't know the woman staring back at her. The achievements, promotions, paycheck, and recognition she had worked so hard for could no longer answer a much deeper question: Who am I outside of all of this? That question became the beginning of a journey back to God, back to herself, and back to purpose. Donna and Jill talk about the hidden cost of building identity around achievement, learning to become still after years of constant doing, listening for God's voice, and allowing faith to shape the way we live and work. In This Conversation:Jill's journey as a lifelong high achiever and “the one everyone counted on”The mirror moment when she realized she no longer knew who she wasWhy accomplishment and recognition couldn't fill the emptiness underneathHow work and achievement began crowding out relationships and the things that mattered mostPsalm 46:10: “Be still, and know that I am God”Learning to sit quietly, journal, and listen for God's directionThe words that reframed Jill's choices: “Whatever you're not changing, you're choosing”Releasing the need to control and learning to trustRefusing to separate faith from business and everyday lifeRedefining success through identity, purpose, and relationship with GodAsking God, “What's on Your agenda today?”About Jill O'Boyle: Jill O'Boyle is a faith-based life coach, motivational speaker, author, and host of the Your Life, Your Story – Rise Up Podcast. Episode 235- When You Need Clarity, Not One More Piece of Advice
2026/10/04
Have you ever begun searching for wisdom only to end up with more information and less peace? You opened another tab, listened to another podcast, asked one more person, and continued looking for the piece of information that would finally make the answer clear. But what if you do not need one more source? In this episode, I explore the difference between gathering information and receiving God’s perspective. Information gives us more to consider. God’s wisdom brings discernment, direction, and peace. James 1:5 tells us that when we lack wisdom, we can ask God, who gives generously. Yet after praying, we often fill every quiet space with searching, analyzing, and busyness because movement makes us feel safe. I use the picture of muddy water to explain why greater effort does not always produce greater clarity. Water that is continually stirred cannot become clear. Sometimes it needs to become still. This episode will help you recognize whether you are truly seeking wisdom or simply looking for relief from the pressure to decide. In this episode: • Why capable people often respond to uncertainty by gathering more information • How pressure, fear, and responsibility contribute to decision fatigue • The difference between God’s wisdom and human certainty • Why stillness brings life back into right order • How to stop carrying outcomes that do not rest entirely on your shoulders • A simple prayer for the question or decision you are carrying Questions to consider: Are you seeking God’s wisdom, or relief from the discomfort of not knowing? Are you waiting for God’s direction, or collecting opinions so you can feel safe? Is the urgency you feel coming from God, or from the belief that everything depends on you? What would happen if you stopped stirring the water? A simple prayer: Father, what do You want me to see? Then give Him room to respond. Come Away Come Away is a refreshing encounter created as a place to turn aside from the noise and receive God’s wisdom for your life right now. Episode 234-Christian Burnout? Hidden Things That Keep You Drained
2026/09/20
Nobody picks up a burden on purpose. We pick up what looks like love, and because we're capable, people keep handing us things until one day we're carrying what we don't even remember choosing. In this episode, I name the disguises: carrying responsibility for everyone around us and calling it faithfulness, carrying guilt and calling it accountability, carrying pressure and calling it commitment. You'll discover:  • Why a burden doesn't always look like a burden • The difference between overflow and depletion • Why Jesus said simply, "come,"  not "keep proving how faithful you are" • Why you can't receive with hands that are already full He didn't say, "Keep carrying what looks faithful and push through." He said, "Come." Responsibility isn't what drains us. Believing everything depends on us is. If you've been carrying more than you were ever asked to, Come Away is an invitation to put it down:  a two-day encounter with rest, identity, healing, and the fullness of the life Jesus paid for. Episode 233-You Don't Have to Be Loud to Be Lucrative with Inga Faison-Cavitt
2026/09/13
Have you ever felt like you had to be loud, pushy, or "on" all the time to grow a business or be taken seriously? This week on the Vibrant Living Podcast, I sit down with Inga Faison-Cavitt, a former mechanical engineer turned Introvert Advantage Strategist, for a conversation about resilience, faith, and building a business that actually fits who you are. Inga shares how her awakening as an introvert started during COVID, when the extroverted mentors she'd been leaning on no longer had answers either, and she had to start finding her own way forward. We talk about what it really means to be resilient: not gritting your teeth and forcing your way through, but intertwining with God the way a rope is woven together, drawing strength from staying connected to Him rather than pushing through alone. You'll hear why more isn't always the answer (more posts, more leads, more visibility) and why the right people and the right strategy will always outperform sheer volume, plus Inga's favorite reminder: you don't have to be loud to be lucrative. Whether you're an introvert building a business or someone learning to move forward without forcing your way through, this conversation will remind you that you do not have to become someone else to succeed. In this episode: Inga's pivot from mechanical engineering to coaching introverted women in businessWhat COVID revealed about the pressure to "act extroverted" to succeedRedefining resilience through faith: waiting on God vs. forcing your own wayWhy the right people matter more than more peopleHow to build a business without pretending to be someone else Connect with Inga Faison-Cavitt: 🌐 Website: ingafay.com  📅 Biweekly webinar (every other Thursday) on building a profitable side business while working a 9-to-5 Connect with Vibrant Living International: 🌐 www.ivibrantliving.com for free resources, upcoming events, and more If this episode blessed you, share it with someone who needs the reminder that it's okay to be uniquely themselves. 🧡
Episode 232 - Are You the One Everyone Depends On?
2026/09/06
Faithful women often become the ones everyone depends on. Over time, carrying responsibility becomes so familiar that it no longer feels heavy; it simply feels normal. In this episode, I share a simple story that reveals a much deeper question:What are you carrying that Jesus never asked you to carry? You'll discover: • Why dependable people naturally become the ones others lean on • The hidden beliefs underneath the burdens we carry • Jesus' invitation to the weary and burdened • How to recognize hidden depletion before it becomes burnout • Why you cannot receive with hands that are already full Sometimes faith doesn't look like carrying more. Sometimes faith looks like putting something down. If you've been carrying more than you were ever asked to, Come Away is an invitation to put it down. A two-day encounter with rest, identity, healing, and the fullness of the life Jesus paid for. Episode 231-Stop Settling: How to Reclaim Your Voice at Any Age with Tina Kadish
2026/08/30
In this episode, I welcome back her friend Tina Kadish, founder of From Job to Joy, for a heart-to-heart on what it takes to choose yourself. After more than two decades in corporate training, Tina has spent recent years helping women find career clarity, but her own life recently handed her the biggest transition yet. After 27 years in a relationship, Tina made the decision to leave and found herself an empty nester, single, and living alone for the first time in her life, in her 60s. She shares candidly about the fear that kept her staying long after she knew it was time to go, and what it finally took to trust her own voice. We talk about what it means to stop waiting for someone else to know how we feel, and to start speaking our truth instead. Tina reflects on the resilience and courage she's discovered in herself through the process, and how her faith, especially the reminder that she "can do all things through Christ who strengthens her, has carried her through the hardest days. Tina also shares what's new in her business: a five-step Shift Method that helps women move from clarity into inner healing and aligned action, and a brand-new free community called Real Life, Real Shift, meeting monthly for women to gather in honest, unrecorded sisterhood. Tina Kadish is the founder of From Job to Joy. After 20 years in corporate training, she now helps women move through career transitions and major life shifts with clarity, confidence, and purpose. She is the author of two books, From Pain to Peace: A Mother's Journey Through Losing a Child and Freedom: 7 Steps to Thrive in Life and Business, and leads a weekly community for aspiring female entrepreneurs. 2026/08/16

In this episode of the Vibrant Living Podcast, I sit down with Apostle Desireé Andrews for an honest conversation about identity, calling, courage, and learning to trust the gifts God has already placed within you. From her powerful encounter with God while serving in Saudi Arabia during Desert Shield and Desert Storm to decades of ministry, Desireé shares what she's learned about stepping beyond fear and fully embracing God's purpose. Episode 228 - The 7 Lies That Quietly Drain Your Life... Because They Feel Like Wisdom | Part 1
2026/08/09
Some of the most dangerous lies don't sound like lies. They sound like wisdom. They sound spiritual. They sound like discernment, responsibility, or even maturity. That's exactly what makes them so costly. In Part 1, we uncover the first three lies that quietly keep many women braced, guarded, and fighting battles they were never meant to fight.  In this episode, we'll explore:#1  What Is Keeping the Peace Costing You? Could what you've been calling peace actually be self-protection?#2  Are You Expecting the Battle Before the Day Even Begins? What if preparing for difficulty has quietly become your default posture?#3  Are You Fighting for Something Jesus Already Gave You? Episode 227-You Were Never Meant to Stay Hidden | Finding Your Voice, Confidence & Calling with Becky Hancock
2026/08/02
Sometimes the greatest obstacle isn't a lack of ability. It's the quiet belief that says, "Maybe I should stay in the background."In this episode of the Vibrant Living Podcast, I welcome online presence strategist Becky Hancock for a conversation that moves beyond branding and into something much deeper. Together we explore why so many women hesitate to use their voice, how fear of visibility affects both our lives and our businesses, and why stepping into greater visibility isn't about self-promotion. It's about faithfully stewarding the vision and influence God has entrusted to us. Drawing from nearly thirty years of experience in branding, graphic design, and web development, Becky shares practical wisdom about building an authentic online presence that reflects who you truly are. Whether you're building a business, leading quietly behind the scenes, or sensing God inviting you into a new season, this conversation is a reminder that your voice matters. In this episode, we discuss: • Why women often struggle to be seen and heard • The personal and professional cost of staying hidden • Building confidence without striving or self-promotion • Creating an authentic brand that reflects your values • Why understanding the people you serve matters more than simply having a beautiful website • Building a business that creates space for both purpose and joy Connect with Becky Hancock Website: https://beckyhancock.designfin LinkedIn: Rebecca Hancock Book a Conversation: https://bookwithbecky.me Connect with Donna at https://www.ivibrantliving.com/
Episode 226-Manifestation vs Partnership (Part 2): How to Discern the Counterfeit
2026/07/26
One of the easiest mistakes sincere believers can make is assuming that if something feels helpful, peaceful, or empowering, it must automatically be from God. Discernment goes deeper than that. In this episode, I continue the conversation about manifestation and Holy Spirit partnership by exploring spiritual counterfeits, spiritual mixture, and the fruit different spiritual practices produce over time. Most importantly, she reminds us that God's greatest gift is not an outcome, an answer, or a breakthrough. The relationship is the treasure.
Episode 225-The Small Things That Quietly Damage Relationships
2026/07/19
What if the biggest problems in marriage are not actually the problems you can see? In this heartfelt and practical conversation, I sit down with Christian marriage coach Casper Stockham to talk about communication, selfishness, hidden emotional wounds, and the small daily habits that shape healthy relationships. Casper and his wife Cheryl have spent nearly two decades helping couples move from conflict and disconnection into deeper understanding, partnership, and joy. Together, we unpack why couples often wait until the “11th hour” to seek help, how unresolved frustrations quietly build over time, and why learning to communicate differently can transform a marriage. This conversation is honest, relatable, and full of practical wisdom for couples who want more than survival; they want connection, peace, and partnership. In this episode: ✨ The hidden issues underneath relationship conflict ✨ Why selfishness quietly damages marriages ✨ How communication changes everything ✨ The power of addressing problems together instead of attacking each other ✨ Real stories from Donna and Casper about everyday marriage struggles ✨ Love languages, emotional needs, and creating lasting connection ✨ Why marriage should still include joy and fun Connect with Casper & Cheryl Stockham: 🌐 IAmLoveBuilders.net Connect with Donna Tashjian: 🌐 https://www.ivibrantliving.com
Episode 224-Manifestation vs Partnership (Part 1): The Difference Every Christian Should Know
2026/07/12
Have you noticed how much spiritual language sounds the same these days? Manifesting. Alignment. Energy. The universe. Partnership. Sometimes the words sound familiar enough that we stop asking where they come from. And that matters. Because two things can sound similar on the surface while leading in completely different directions underneath. In this episode of the Kingdom Spiritual Intelligence series, I unpack the difference between manifestation and Holy Spirit partnership. Not to create fear, but to increase discernment. Not everything spiritual is sourced from the same kingdom. We will talk about: • The difference between manifestation and Kingdom partnership • Why source matters more than methods • The role of authority in the Kingdom of God • Why God is a Father, not a force • How spiritual language can hide counterfeit beliefs • The question every believer should ask: Which kingdom is this coming from? The goal is not suspicion. The goal is relationship. Because the more clearly we know the King, the easier it becomes to recognize what does and does not belong to His Kingdom. Episode 222 -The Real Meaning of Enthusiasm: Why Reverence for God's Word Keeps the Fire Burning
2026/06/28
When you hear the word enthusiasm, what comes to mind? Most of us think of energy, excitement, or passion. But the word originally meant something entirely different. Enthusiasm comes from the Greek words en theos — "God within." In this final episode of the Kingdom Spiritual Intelligence series, we're exploring what it means to stay connected to the source rather than striving to create more energy on our own. We'll talk about reverence, abiding, and why the fire often fades, not because we stop loving God, but because familiarity quietly replaces awe. If you've felt like you're pushing harder than you should have to, this conversation may help you discover whether it's time to stop striving and reconnect with the One who sustains the fire.
