Ep. 506 - Houston Horror Film Festival, New Orleans & Family Adventures
2026/09/07
🎙️ The kids are back for another First OFF Junior—and this time we're talking Houston, New Orleans, movies, food, and family! In First OFF Podcast Season 5, Episode 6, Joseph, Sadhana, and the kids sit down to relive our family adventures through Houston, Texas, and New Orleans, Louisiana. Our trip started in Houston, where we attended the Houston Horror Film Festival as part of the continuing festival journey for S.O.S.. Then it was on to New Orleans, where we explored the colorful and interactive world of JAMNOLA, took in the city, and—of course—ATE. 😂🍽️ And when we say we ate some amazing New Orleans food, Joseph has the extra pounds to prove it. 😂 But between the film festival, attractions, sightseeing, and all that food, our favorite part of the trip was something much simpler: being together. ❤️ With the kids growing up so quickly, these family trips give us a chance to get away from our normal routines, explore new places, laugh at each other, try new things, and create memories together. You can hear just how much we genuinely enjoy one another throughout this episode—and that's what First OFF Junior is really about. Expect plenty of laughs, the kids' perspectives on the trip, a little family chaos, and lots of love. If you enjoy podcasts about family travel, parenting, traveling with kids, Houston, New Orleans, food, movies, marriage, and creating quality family time, come along for the ride. ▶️ WATCH THE FULL EPISODE, hit LIKE, and SUBSCRIBE to the FirstOffPodcast YouTube channel @FirstOff-AYAFY for more First OFF! 🎧 You can also listen to First OFF with Sadhana and Joseph on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. 🌐 Follow everything we're creating at AreYouAFanYet.com📲 Follow @FirstOffPodcast on Instagram for clips, new episodes, and more from the family. 💬 QUESTION FOR YOU: What's one family vacation or experience that your kids still talk about? Ep. 505 - 10 Marital Revelations (Mildly NSFW)
2026/08/24
18 years of marriage. A whole lot of life. And at least 10 things we've figured out along the way. 😂❤️ In Season 5, Episode 5 of First Off, Joseph and Sadhana celebrate 18 years of marriage by looking back at the lessons, surprises, challenges, and revelations that come from building a life together. We share our 10 Marriage Revelations— the things nearly two decades together have taught us about communication, friendship, compromise, parenting, expectations, growing individually while growing together, and what it really takes to make a marriage work. And because this is First Off, don't expect a marriage seminar. 😂 There's plenty of laughter, love, disagreement, honesty, and the kind of conversation that can only happen after 18 years of knowing somebody REALLY well. Whether you've been married for 18 years, 18 months, are dating, or simply enjoy honest conversations about relationships and family life, we hope there's something in this episode that makes you laugh, think ... and maybe start a conversation of your own. 🎧 Listen to First Off on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and on YouTube. 🌐 Keep up with the podcast, and everything we're creating at AreYouAFanYet.com. 📲 Follow @FirstOffPodcast on Instagram for clips, conversations, and new episodes. ❤️ What's one thing marriage or a long-term relationship has taught YOU?
