2026/10/21
Isaiah 40 speaks into our weariness with a reminder that God has not forgotten us. This message explores the God who never grows weary and faithfully carries His people, inviting us to find renewed strength and hope in Jesus Christ, who welcomes all who are weary and burdened to find rest.
Behold Your God: The Good News (Isaiah 40:1-11)
2026/10/16
Isaiah 40 speaks into the aftermath of devastation with a surprising first word: comfort. God's people have lived through judgement, exile, and loss, but God has not abandoned them. He comes to them, speaks to their hearts, and announces good news: "Behold your God." This message explores the God who is strong enough to save and gentle enough to Carry His people, a promise Christians see fulfilled in Jesus Christ, the mighty King and gentle Shepherd who has come near.
Behold Your God: The Test (Isaiah 36)
2026/10/07
“In whom do you trust?” In Isaiah 36-37, Judah faces a moment of crisis as the Assyrian empire surrounds Jerusalem and asks that decisive question. Hezekiah responds by bringing the threat before the Lord and looking again to the God who is enthroned above every earthly king. This message explores what it means to place the weight of our lives on God when pressure comes, and how Jesus Christ is the faithful King in whom our trust ultimately rests.
Behold Your God: The Way (Isaiah 35)
2026/10/01
In Isaiah 35, the wilderness blooms, weak hands are strengthened, fearful hearts are encouraged, and a highway called the Way of Holiness leads God's redeemed people home. This chapel message explores Isaiah's vision of God's complete and beautiful redemption and its fulfillment in Jesus Christ, who comes to us in the wilderness and calls us to walk in His Way with joy and hope until all things are made new.
Behold Your God: The Feast(Isaiah 25:6-9)
2026/09/23
Will our story end in a funeral or a feast? Isaiah looks directly at death, the shadow hanging over every person and every civilization, and announces something almost unimaginable. God will swallow up death forever, wipe away every tear, and gather the nations to a feast. In this sermon from Isaiah 25, we consider what it means to live with hope, practice joy, and wait for the day when we can finally say, “Behold, this is our God”.
Behold Your God: The Trees (Isa 7:1-14)
2026/09/16
When the future feels uncertain, we are tempted either to despair or to grasp for control. Isaiah gives us another way: stand firm in faith and trust the God who brings new life from dead stumps. Because Jesus Christ lives and holds the future, we can work with patience, courage, and hope without having to manufacture the future ourselves. ,
Behold Your God: The Throne (Isaiah 6: 1-8)
2026/09/09
Isaiah sees the Lord high and lifted up and comes completely undone. But the fire he expects to consume him instead cleanses him, and grace sets him free to say, “Here am I, send me.” The Throne reminds us that we don’t have to hold the world together: the throne is already occupied, and the Holy One who sits on it can be trusted.
Behold Your God: The Mountain (Isaiah 2:1-5)
2026/09/02
We often imagine life as a mountain to climb—a place to prove ourselves and build an identity. Isaiah invites us instead to behold the mountain of the Lord, where human pride is bought low and God’s greatness fills the horizon. In Jesus Christ, we discover the freedom of being humbled without being diminished and released from the burden of making ourselves great.
Commissioning Chapel: Wisdom for the Road (Romans 12:1-2)
2026/04/29
What do you do with your ordinary, everyday life as you go out into the world? In this chapel service, President Hoekstra charges graduating seniors to take what they've learned - both in academics and in Scripture - and carry it into their daily walk, so that others may be drawn to Jesus through the way we live out our faith.
Longing for Love: The Pain of Love (Song of Songs 5-8)
2026/04/22
The Song of Songs does show us a perfect romance, but also longing, absence, and pain. In this message, we explore how love exposes us to vulnerability, disappointment, and even wounding, yet also deepens through trust, friendship, and endurance. Ultimately, the Song points beyond human love to a greater love, the love of Christ, who enters our pain, overcomes death, and proves that love is stronger still.
Longing for Love: The power of Love (Song of Songs 3-4)
2026/04/15
The Song of Songs reveals that love is powerful , beautiful, and not to be taken lightly. In this message, we explore why Scripture warns us not to awaken love before its time, how love creates deep vulnerability, and why it must be protected within covenant. In a culture shaped by pressure and confusion around relationships, we are invited into a vision of love that is both passionate and faithful, ultimately pointing us to the covenant love of Christ, who binds himself to us in mercy and grace.
Longing for Love: That Loving Feeling (Song of Songs 1-2)
2026/04/08
The Song of Songs invites us to see the world through the eyes of love. In this message, we explore how love changes the way we see others, not as objects to use, but as persons of infinite worth, and how it awakens a vision of the world as full of beauty, life, and possibility. Yet human love, as good as it is, cannot ultimately satisfy our deepest longing. The message points us to a greater love, the love of God in Christ, who sees us fully, pursues us faithfully, and restores our capacity to love.
Facing the Fog: The End (Ecclesiastes 12: 1-14)
2026/04/01
Ecclesiastes 12 brings Qoheleth’s hard wisdom to its final conclusion: remember your Creator before the days grow dark and your strength fail. In this Holy Week message, we reflect on what is means to face death honestly, to remember our finitude and accountability before God, and to recognize that only the Creator can make something truly new. The questions of this book point us to God’s answer in Jesus Christ, woh brings the first truly new thing under the sun: a love that is truly stronger then death.
Facing the Fog: The Unknown (Ecclesiastes 11:1-10)
2026/03/25
Ecclesiastes 11 reminds us of a simple but unsettling truth: we do not know what the future holds. And yet, the Teacher calls us to boldness. In this message, we explore what it means to live faithfully in the face of uncertainty, to rejoice in God's gifts, to release the burden of control, and to remember that our lives are held by the God who judges and redeems. Because of Jesus Christ, we can move forward with courage, knowing that even when we do not know, we are seen, loved, and known
Facing the Fog: Contentment (Ecclesiastes 6:1-12) - Dr. Kyle Dieleman
2026/03/11
Ecclesiastes 6 confronts one of life’s most unsettling questions: What is the point? Wealth, success, long life, and even family cannot ultimately satisfy if we cannot truly enjoy them, because every life still ends in death. This message explores the wisdom of contentment in a finite life, learning to receive God’s gifts with gratitude while trusting the God who Sees our lives from beginning to end. In christ we discover the true contentment comes not from what we possess, but from the God who knows us and promises never to leave us.
