“Assault Troops” comes mainly from my disgust at the way we treat survivors of sexual assault, and how survivors are routinely asked questions about their behavior that no other category of crime victim is forced to answer. Meanwhile, no one bothers to ask a cop if he might have provoked someone into attacking them. The mind boggles.

Starbird, believe it or not, is my first published solo electric song. That is, it’s just me without any other musical contribution - and it’s not just acoustic. The inspiration behind the myth of the “Eternally Old” mythical creature is actually from exit #218 on I5 – Starbird Road. Tara Goldenhour is a social worker, mother, nature-lover, and creative who lives in the PNW. She is releasing a new song on the 24th of every month this year, and her song for today is called “1111.”

Andy Circus is the more spell-able stage name of Aidan Gscheidle, who lives in Pennsylvania and does not believe in nuclear war. Occasionally his journal entries are singable, which gave rise to this song, "Moleskine #4."

Kenny Darling is a songwriter, instrumentalist and screenwriter from Seattle, Washington. He’s a member of the band Local Liars, and formerly was in bands, Post Harbor, The Trouble Starts, Body Electric. Last year he released his first solo EP, “Things Change” which you can find wherever you stream music.

Carolyn Fingyrs is the stage persona of St. Louis-based shapeshifter and spaghetti enthusiast Nick Johnson. They will be releasing a new song on the 19th of every month this year.
