Send us a text There is so much misleading in what is misrepresented before the world as Christianity today. The trend is increasing daily and the danger can have eternal damnation consequences for those misled by it. Most pulpits of this age are occupied and utilised by charlatans who have brought many shallow but spiritually devastating deliberately false teachings to their hearers. They give false hope that is usually anchored on fantasies and financial generosity of their victims. The idea promoted is that God wants their followers rich, healthy and exuding prosperity! After many years of followership and financial draining, none of the empty promises are delivered, because they were never of the Lord, many followers leave the so-called 'church' and many even abandon any thought of Christianity. They were never given the true Gospel of Christ and as such had no interest in forsaking their sin or salvation. Yet the message of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ that gives true liberation from sin and death is not lost. Some people are simply driven by greed and desperation into looking for the wrong Jesus and in the wrong places. There is only ONE way to be a Christian!

Send us a text Most 'churches', and indeed their members have today deviated from the faith handed down by the Saviour and His trusted Apostles.  For decades many men and women have risen proclaiming themselves to be servants of God; a collection of the downright crazy to the materially greedy, to the deceived.  Their followers love them, with a view of the only Saviour and Lord as subordinate to their human leaders.  As a result there are many terrible winds of teaching that are anything but what the Holy Bible says, but people believe their leaders have new revelations from God! There are no new revelations, and the Lord Jesus Christ has NOT changed a letter of His written Word.  What hurts the true believer who believes, trusts and obeys the written Word of God in this age, is that many professing Christians are headed for eternal damnation to hell, because of their love for their human leaders over and above their love for the only Saviour and Lord, Jesus Christ. There is only ONE way to be a Christian! There is only ONE way to be a Christian!

Send us a text Many Christians are troubled about the matter of knowing when God is speaking to them. While some are deluded in thinking God is actually speaking to them, and they boast in the regularity of this encounter, not comparing what they think they hear with the perfect Scriptures, others believe they do not have the privilege and as such consult the 'special ones' who have it to enquire of them! But God is not far from His children, according to His infallible promise: “If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. (John 14: 15-18) The problem is not whether God is speaking to us or not, it is with our attitude to Him; are we obedient to the Lord? The Holy Spirit, God's Spirit, lives in every faithful believer, to guide us and open up God's voice to us in the holy Scriptures - we should be in no confusion.   The quest for the voice of God has and continues to lead many astray and into Satan's entrapment by false prophets and teachers.  We have not been left as orphans and each of us has direct access to our Father. There is only ONE way to be a Christian!

Send us a text The Christian life cannot be lived in the flesh, we simply do not have the strength and will to do it.  Our merciful Saviour and Lord promised us the Holy Spirit to help us walk the narrow path on which He set our feet.  By the Holy Spirit we are given new birth so that we become the children of God. He is with us to ensure we are kept for the Day of our Lord when we shall receive the promised crown of life. We are in dangerous times however, where Satan has infiltrated the church space with many counterfeits. These impostors parade themselves as specially 'anointed' men and women of God who alone have access to God's presence and the Holy Spirit. Nothing is farther from the truth, but they hold many captive to their evil ministrations - this can be fatal if their listeners and followers do not repent and seek the true Saviour and Lord. There is only ONE way to be a Christian!

Send us a text Hebrews 11, nicknamed the 'Faith Hall of Fame', pinpoints the remarkable faith of the patriarchs and everyday people who believed God against the odds and gained eternity life with Him.  We are encouraged to walk in the same way, trusting our Lord who gave Himself as the atoning sacrifice for our since, because He cares for us.  There is only ONE way to be a Christian!

Send us a text It has always been God's pleasure to bless His people, and even more so that the elect in Christ are now His children. A big part of His blessings upon us is discipline, to build the holy and righteous character He desires in us.  When we are able to understand and thankfully receive His discipline in patience, perseverance and endurance, we receive daily grace and blessings to live victoriously in a world of evil. God's Word assures us that no good thing would He keep from those who trust in Him (His children) Psalm 34.  We are called to live for Him and all other blessings we need for life in the world will be given to us, Matthew 6: 25-34. It is sin that makes the promises of our Father alien or unreachable to us. There is only ONE way to be a Christian!

Send us a text In Romans 12: 3-8 instructs us about spiritual gifts.  These gifts are for the edification of the Church, not to be exercised in arrogance or in showy manner.  Our incarnate Lord, though being God, exhibited meekness during His earthly ministry, leaving us an example to follow. Our spiritual gifts are to be exercised to serve others, we are not to be self-serving. The gifts are exactly that; gifts from God to bring Him glory.  We have nothing to boast about, and are never to think we are superior to any other member of the body because of any gift we have, There is only ONE way to be a Christian!

Send us a text Romans 12: 9-21 is thorough instruction as to how we must live to show ourselves as true disciples of Christ Jesus our Saviour, and the eternal God, our Father.  Our lifestyle should reflect the beauty of the meekness of our Lord, His love, mercy and grace.  Romans 8: 29 tells us clearly God's purpose for electing some for Himself; we are very privileged and are commanded to live up to the calling we have received. There is only ONE way to be a Christian!

Send us a text In Acts 2: 42-47 we see the purpose and joy of the Christian Church. The pure joy and commitment of the fellowship meetings, and the blessings of God that followed in the addition of more members to His household. To this day God is still adding as many as He has sovereignly chosen to enter into His Kingdom. However, the age-old enemy of God, Satan, is busy at his work of ensuring many are deceived into thinking they belong to God when they are not. He continues to set up many decoy 'churches' teaching the unsuspecting and disobedient tantalising messages, while leading them all the way to eternal hell. Each of us should think biblically and objectively about where we worship, whether it be of God or of Satan. There is only ONE way to be a Christian!
