I'm at a loss to describe this episode - so much wisdom, so much experience, so much love, so much connection...ALL of what this world needs today - plus our mother's and the Power involved within that realm.I walked away with a changed paradigm - so much uplifting energy, I need more of Micheline - pronounced like the tires - probably because of "Traction" - and that has transferred a bunch to me!If you are not having a blast in your recovery - you are not doing it right!AndThank You for Allowing me , and Micheline, to Demonstrate our Recovery in this manner today!

Jay has a history that you'll need to google to learn about, that is not why is here today, he's here to share a story - a story of how the twelve steps have shaped him, how this has impacted his ability to affect those about him.A super refreshing story!Look him up, I'm not providing links!Enjoy!

I simply loved meeting Larry, he is 87 years old, thats a lot of wisdom - as many of you know, my 88 year old father lives with me and it's not lost on me the wisdom I get to absorb from my dad - Larry reminds me a lot of my father - listen to the end.https://alwaysatchoice.net/https://www.steppingthroughthegate.com/larrys-story/At age 40, life as Larry Freeborg knew it ended in a single week. The day after Christmas in 1979, he lost his 39-year-old wife to leukemia, and days later, he lost his job of 18 years, in the middle of an economic crisis. Suddenly, he was a widowed father of four, with no income and no roadmap forward. Larry Freeborg’s life changed in a psychiatric ward, overwhelmed by the grief of losing his wife to leukemia, caring for four young children, and losing his job during an economic crisis. It was there, at the psychiatric ward, where a nurse’s simple question changed everything:“What choice will you make?”In that moment, Larry realized that every moment offers options — and that he could reclaim his life. That insight transformed his life and became the foundation for his book.Always At Choice: “Strategies for Moving on After the Death of a Spouse or Life Trauma.’Today Larry knows that even in the darkest moments we always have a choice. What followed wasn’t a quick recovery but a decades-long journey of learning to grieve, to lead with love, and to rediscover hope in the face of unimaginable loss. Along the way, he discovered a simple yet powerful truth: no matter what life takes away, you are always at a choice.Go check him out!
