from the vault podcast 002 : fuchs - back 2 mine (2004)

2025/09/29

back in 2004, I recorded a back 2 mine set that somehow found its way into so many people’s lives. what started as a late-night experiment became the soundtrack to countless afterhours, long car rides, and those tender moments when the night slowly melts into morning. it is not about hands in the air, but about hearts at rest. people told me it became their go-to set whenever they needed to exhale, to reset, to reflect, or simply to drift away in that half-dreaming, half-awake state we all know from those endless nights. it is humbling to think that something mixed in a moment of intimacy and flow resonated for years as a safe place to land after the chaos of the dance floor. this episode of from the vault is a reminder of how music connects us beyond the club, into living rooms, balconies, beaches, and the quiet corners of our lives. press play, close your eyes, and let it take you back 2 yours.

fuchs & cervus live at minimuzikhol 23112024

2024/11/24

here is another explosive set recorded live at minimuzikhol on 23.11.2024. mini muzikhol is an institution in Istanbul’s nightlife and it holds a special place in our hearts, not just for its 17 year history but for its incredibly open-hearted crowd. the energy and trust from the crowd always inspire us to push boundaries and explore sounds we might not play anywhere else. big love to @dorukguralp for the impeccable warm-up that set the vibe just right. the biggest credit goes to cervus aka @subsky, my musical soulmate. we have been playing back-to-back for 24 beautiful years, never planning a single track—just letting the music naturally evolve in the moment. hope you enjoy it.

yakuza & fuchs live at xuma village 04082024

2024/08/05

the following set was recorded on an afternoon to remember, as I had the honor of sharing the decks with one of Turkey’s most revered DJs, Yakuza, at the beautiful Xuma Village in Bodrum. known for his deep knowledge of music and ability to blend various genres seamlessly, Yakuza has earned legendary status in the electronic music scene. the serene setting of Xuma Village, with its breathtaking views and ambiance, provided the perfect backdrop for an epic sunset. the synergy was electric, and the experience was further enhanced by the incredible talents of Toygun Sozen, Tolga Bilgin, and Erturk Idug, who graced us with their stage presence and accompanied us with their wind instruments. hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

agentorange & fuchs live at parkorman 23072024 (massive attack warmup)

2024/07/24

tough to put it into words but i will try. this was unforgettable. warming up for Massive Attack was a dream, but doing it with a childhood friend made it surreal. we’ve been through so much together—initially we were two music-hungry teenagers who found solace and excitement in melodies and beats. we spent countless hours in our rooms, experimented with sounds, lost ourselves in the rhythm, and dreamt of the days we would share our music with the world. each track here holds a story: the late nights, the laughter, the setbacks, and the triumphs. it’s a journey through our shared history, a testament to our unwavering passion for music. the energy in the air at parkorman was electric. as always, thank you for the love and the support.

imagine stepping into a paradise where the sun-kissed shores meet the deep blue waters of the Aegean in perfect harmony. this was Bonjuk Bay, a hidden paradise that captivated my soul and ignited my imagination last weekend. amidst swaying palm trees and the gentle breeze whispering secrets of the sea, I recently spun this 3hr set. thanks to an amazing and up-for-it crowd, it became a magical fusion of music and scenery. hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
